In the movie The Hunt for Red October, CIA analyst Jack Ryan, (played by Alec Baldwin) is on a U.S. Navy submarine that has tracked the Russian’s silent propulsion first-strike nuclear sub, the Red October, commanded by Marko Ramius.  Ramius intends to turn the vessel over to the U.S., then defect.  He is being relentlessly pursued by the Russian navy, which he has managed to avoid for the most part.

Ryan ponders how Ramius will get the Russian naval crew to go along with the ruse to abandon the sub, and thinks to himself, “’Russians don’t take a dump son, without a plan.’ …How do you get a crew to willingly evacuate a nuclear sub?”  Ryan has an epiphany. Create a crisis.

The same strategy is in play with the Obama administration.  Ask yourself, “How do you get 330M Americans to accept millions of illegal Mexicans to become citizens of the United States?”  You create a crisis.

Apparently, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has had a policy of permitting, even encouraging the movement of guns into Mexico. And according to Attorney General Eric Holder, members of his staff at the Justice Department wanted to show proof of his and other Obama

administration officials’ statements that the majority of firearms used by Mexican drug cartels originated in the United States and are smuggled into that drug-war-torn country.

What Holder is essentially saying is the best way to prove that Mexicans were getting firearms from the United States was to provide the Mexicans firearms from the United States.

Interesting approach, and who could argue that this method would definitely have proven that Mexicans were getting firearms from the United States. What this approach doesn’t prove is that Mexicans cartels are not buying firearms from elsewhere in the world.

Mexican citizens cannot legally own guns, so why would the U.S. thwart Mexican law?  Given this administration’s attempt to take firearms away from American citizens, I can’t imagine that our government is attempting to arm Mexican citizens against the cartels that threaten them.  The only real possibility for the destination for these weapons is to Mexican drug cartels.

So why is the U.S. arming the cartels, and what’s Holder hiding? Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform certainly wants to know.

In a biting letter to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Acting Director Kenneth E. Melson, criticized the Director for failing to produce any documents in response to a subpoena issued more than a month ago on March 31 regarding “Operation Gunrunner.”

We have a country that is imploding on itself, so much so that its own citizens are fleeing like scalded dogs into the U.S. The worse the Mexican economy, the more Mexicans who feel the hopelessness.

Add more guns to the cartels, and the turmoil could escalate to crisis levels. Imagine the lawlessness that might occur with the increased firepower of the cartels. These cartels now represent the wealthiest Mexicans, and they are buying off law enforcement like Democrats buy black folks.

Mexico is on the brink of total anarchy. Calderon is the president of Mexico; however nobody is certain who is actually in charge. One thing is for sure:  It’s not Calderon.  Mexico is being led by powerful cartels who have carved up the country, forcing Mexicans who love their country to seek safety…in the United States.

As The Examiner reported, top members of the U.S. House of Representatives on May 6 called on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to support the designation of certain Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations. This designation would give U.S. law enforcement agencies the authority to use the Patriot Act to crack down on suspected drug cartel members and associates, providing the ability for the U.S. to seize cartel bank accounts or imposing harsher prison sentences for possession of firearms.

U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY), Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, and Rep. Michael T. McCaul, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Management also requested that Secretary Clinton develop a comprehensive strategy to assist the Mexican government win their war against the violent and deadly cartels such as Los Zetas, who are suspected of murdering an American law enforcement agent.

The state department turned down these requests.

Mexico’s tourist industry is as dead as the disco that used to be heard pumping outside of Mexican city night spots. Mexico now relies on the drug trade for its survival. Because of the new strategy, in a very short amount of time, Mexico will be declared uninhabitable, and the U.S. will be asked to provide amnesty for Mexicans escaping persecution. I give you a crisis.

That is how Obama and the Democrats plan on solving the illegal immigration problem, and getting those much needed votes for the future. You won’t hear Mexico complaining, nor will you hear La Raza or other Mexican organizations in the U. S. Ask yourself why?

That’s my rant!

Kevin, this is what terrifies me about the future of this country. I feel that the government is working against those that work hard. Punish even…. It's so backwards. I love your blog! I check it every day! Keep up the good work please!

    • theblacksphere

You would be right, Southern Girl. The gov't is working against us, and always has been from both sides. We finally have an administration who is willing to show us openly. Thanks on the blog. I hope more people read it, pass it along, and support what I'm trying to do. As the saying goes, "It's all God's plan."

    You Sir, are a genius.
    It makes perfect sense.

    • theblacksphere

Charlie, I agree with you! Kidding…but I do believe that what I'm predicting will come to fruition or at least will be tried.

Pretty good analysis. It's not that far-fetched, especially when you consider what's already happening on the U.S. side of the border.

Political asylum is the new family reunification. And with Operation Gunrunner run amok, you never know where things could lead.

Yes, there are articles dating back to 2010 where the Mexican army is HELPING the cartels. That gov't has no control over the situation.

My initial reaction to Operation Gunrunner was that it could be an effort to abridge the right to bear arms in the US. The premise being,.."see, guns are bad and American guns are furthering violence elsewhere, better hand 'em over." But this asylum "crisis" is another option, if lib-progs are good at anything, it's manufacturing a crisis to serve their ends. BTW, I'm still waiting for the outrage and special investigation into this highly suspect operation from the MSM. Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz? Did you pravda clowns just not get wind of it yet?

    • Kevin Jackson

Don't hold your breath waiting on LSM to react. They are tools, despite their realization that Obama is a total waste.

  • Susan

Satan and his minions never rest….. What is happening to this country is sickening.

    • Kevin Jackson

It will keep happening, Susan! We live in perhaps the most amazing time in America, ever!

  • Tubman2010

I think you may have nailed it Kevin. I also think these now armed gunmen are helping Al Queda and Hamas get into our country. Apparently Al Queda already has a large presence in AZ. Isn't that great…?

  • Bill…

Kevin, Interesting how starting with one Clancy novel leads to another. If we declare the drug cartels are terrorists (and I believe they are), it's pretty much the plot of "Clear and Present Danger".

QUESTION: what is another way of allowing illegals into the united states legally? (MEXICAN OR MUSLIM) without the "dream act" or any other bull crap like that.
    Arizona Native
Answer: REFUGEES…"A refugee is a person who has been forced to leave his or her home and seek refuge elsewhere.[1] Under the United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees of 1951, a refugee is more narrowly defined (in Article 1A) as a person who "owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality, and is unable to or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country" SO WITH THAT BEING SAID… secretly provide weapons and create civil unrest in another country and guess what we get??? hmmmm LEGAL ILLEGALS OR REFUGEES… this is just a thought but with this administration they pull some sneaky stuff and we should look at all their angles…..

I am curious about something. I am a family doc and my practice is in a very poor part of the Denver area. Many of my patients are "undocumented" (the liberal term for "illegally in the country"). The vast majority of these people are harder working than my patients who are third generation welfare, AFDC, medicaid recipients. What should happen to these people? On the one hand, I get that they are here illegally and we are a nation of laws. On the other hand, many of them are contributing more to our society than the lazy people on the dole. Also, I wonder what would happen to all of their children when the adults are deported. The kids are citizens for the most part. Do they leave an education here for basically nothing in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia? Lest anyone think I am some bleeding heart, nothing could be further from the truth. I just want to know what our conservative solution for these people. And, if ultimately the solution is everyone has to go back and get in line to return, I guess I'm okay with that. It would just hurt some really neat kids.
