Imagine a farmer who helped form a private food club to connect farm-fresh foods to members. And consider that this industrious and conscientious Minnesotan did build this food club with zero Federal and State bureaucratic intervention.

We call that ingenuity.

“Alvin Schlangen, an organic egg producer from central Minnesota, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of distributing unpasteurized milk, operating without a food handler’s license and handling adulterated food. Minnesota law prohibits raw milk sales except directly to consumers on the farm when it’s produced.”

The temerity of a hard-working farmer who only desires to help families have access to high-quality, non-processed foods…and in this case primarily dairy products. The gaul of an individual to form a food club and arrange delivery of raw milk from the Amish dairies (very clean dairies with grass-fed cows) to families in search of superior, more wholesome foods.

For now Alvin is acquitted…but ever-intrusive government more than likely has not giving up trying to get their “share”.

America was built by people like Alvin, not by government.

I was raised on raw milk, eggs from our own chickens. Veggies, nuts even popcorn from our own garden.. We fattened up hogs and calf for meat. The reason so many people are on medicine now in my opinion is because of what is put in our foods for a longer shelf life!
