President Obama Makes Statement On GOP's Obstruction Of Cordray's Nomination To Run The CFPBBy Jack from Manhattan

It’s always a great day when the President of the United States shoehorns himself into a local law enforcement issue in order to gin up racial resentment.

It was bad enough back in March of 2012 when Obama said, “If I had a son … he’d look a lot like Trayvon.”

Now, he has waded in even further by claiming that 35 years ago, Trayvon could have been him. That is a complete crock: Barack Obama, far from being a child of the civil rights struggle who had to “work twice as hard to get ahead because of his skin color”, is a child of privilege and a case study in affirmative action.

How many black people went to Punahou School, one of the most elite prep schools in Hawaii? From NBC News in 2007 on the eve of his announcing his candidacy:

“At school, Obama was surrounded by the island’s richest and most accomplished students. America Online founder Steve Case, actress Kelly Preston and former Dallas Cowboys lineman Mark Tuinei, who died in 1999, attended the school around that time.”
