Active Duty Air Force Member Tackles Robber! (Video)

This active duty US Air Force member acted instinctively and foiled a would be robber’s jewelry heist.

At a time when Congress seemingly has thrown our military under the bus to obtain budget compromises, this lone USAF member in civvies highlights the mindset and quick thinking of US Troops and Vets.

The robber entered a TJ Maxx store on Route 73 in Evesham Township, NJ, ran to the unattended jewelry counter and madly crammed $26K of high-end watches in a bag.

But before the thief could make his escape, the USAF member, ran around the counter and tackled him. In the struggle, the robber lost his mask, jacket AND the bag of watches, before wresting loose and fleeing.

The only description of the perp is vague: a light-skinned black man in his 20’s with some facial hair.

Police are still looking for the man and asking anyone that might know his identity to contact Evesham police at 856-983-1116, the Confidential Tip Line at 856-983-4699, email [email protected] or offer an anonymous tip text ETPDTIP to 847411.

I hope Congress reads about this.

Our troops put their lives on the line in combat, and as witnessed here, even at home if need be. I wonder how many members of Congress would have reacted this quickly and selflessly?

Moral of the story? Our Troops are the best in the world and deserve our unwavering support. Cut the National Endowment for the Arts. Cut the National Education Association. Cut the salary of US Congress Members.

But whatever you do, Congress, our military should be LAST in line for budget cuts.
