Let’s just call this “The Obama Virus”

In the old days, I would have just blamed a computer virus with this destructive capability on the Chinese. After all, the Chinese are communists who hate America.

But now that America has a communist who hates America as president, one must take pause in assigning blame.

In light of the spying that Barack Obama has done against the citizens of America, though we continue to suffer the very same threats, it’s pretty clear that Obama is not fighting terrorism as the average American defines it. To Obama, patriotic Americans are terrorists.

So when I heard of an advanced malicious software application uncovered around 2008 to spy on private companies, governments, research institutes and individuals in 10 countries, my mind didn’t run immediately to the Chicoms.

According to reports, California-based Symantec, maker of Norton anti virus products said its research showed that a “nation state” was likely the developer of the malware called Regin, or Backdoor. Apparently Regin’s design “makes it highly suited for persistent, long-term surveillance operations against targets.” and was withdrawn in 2011 but resurfaced from 2013 onward. Eerily close to Obama’s shellacking in 2010, and his resurgence in 2012.

Here’s another clue.

The malware uses several “stealth” features “and even when its presence is detected, it is very difficult to ascertain what it is doing.” according to Symantec. All I can say is, “Does this virus GOLF?!”

Almost half of all infections occurred at addresses of Internet service providers, the report said. It said the targets were customers of the companies rather than the companies themselves. About 28 percent of targets were in telecoms while other victims were in the energy, airline, hospitality and research sectors, Symantec said.

One thing we know about The Obama Virus: it infects all industries.
