The majority of the people in America addicted to drugs are Liberals. I don’t have statistics to back this up, nor do I need them. I know I’m right.
That’s not to say that drug abuse doesn’t happen with Conservatives, it’s just FAR less.
I watched yet another documentary on drugs, and was shocked to learn of the number of college students hooked on drugs. Many of these kids wake up looking for the high, and yet are functioning well enough to get through college. That should tell you all you need to know about the state of higher education in America.
One guy they profiled worked at Google at one point, and now he just chases the heroin high. His only hope was a job interview, that he theorized “might” keep him clean. A junkie with a degree from MIT.
Drugs destroy lives, but you can always count on Liberals to find the silver lining, as reported in the Washington Post.
America’s opioid epidemic has had far-reaching and generally devastating consequences.
Now, the impact is being seen in organ donations.
Coinciding with a rise in drug-related deaths, the number of organ donors who died of drug overdoses has sharply increased in recent years — “a silver lining to what is absolutely a tragedy,” Alexandra K. Glazier, president of the New England Organ Bank, recently told U.S. News & World Report.
Last year, 848 organ donors died of drug intoxication, according to Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network data. And while such organ donors have become more common over the decades, the recent numbers show a staggering jump.
