Kevin Jackson Debates Eric Guster on Chicago Violence and Police

Chicago had more homicides than LA and NYC, combined. Kevin Jackson debates Eric Guster on Donald Trump threatening to intervene.

Violent crime has re-entered the mainstream. Where mayors like Rudy Giuliani made cities safer, Leftist mayors have accomplished the opposite.

Baltimore registered 318 homicides in 2016. Given that Baltimore is roughly 1/3rd the size of Chicago, that puts them well ahead of Chicago in homicides, per capita, at over 950 homicides. But the news gets worse.

As reported by the New York Times,

Murder rates rose significantly in 25 of the nation’s 100 largest cities last year, according to an analysis by The New York Times of new data compiled from individual police departments.

The findings confirm a trend that was tracked recently in a study published by the National Institute of Justice. “The homicide increase in the nation’s large cities was real and nearly unprecedented,” wrote the study’s author, Richard Rosenfeld, a criminology professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis who explored homicide data in 56 large American cities.

The F.B.I. released its 2015 crime data for the entire country on Sept. 26. It showed that the murder rate rose 11 percent across the United States in 2015, jumping more last year than it had in nearly half a century.

And this trend is true for most of Obama’s administration, not just 2015. As we know, 2016 was the deadliest year for Chicago in decades.

Yet here is how left-leaning Politico attempted to spin Obama’s performance in fighting crime:

The U.S. violent crime rate dropped from 458.6 per 100,000 people that year to 365.5 in 2014, the last full year for which statistics are available. Murders were also down from 5.4 per 100,000 in 2008 to 4.5 in 2014. Property crime rates also dropped substantially.

The bad news is that there are indications that violent crime, particularly murder, is picking up again. In a half-year report issued in January, the FBI reported that violent crime was up 1.7 percent over the six-month period a year earlier.

In addition, there have been evident surges in murder in a number of large American cities, such as Chicago and Las Vegas. Meanwhile, other cities have seen no jump, while rural areas appear to be seeing a continued decrease.

So you’re less likely to lose your watch to a mugger in a big city and more likely to lose your life.

While on The Kelly File at Fox News, Contributor Kevin Jackson was asked about the police not policing areas with high crime, specifically in light of all the homicides in Chicago.

As Jackson pointed out, what’s happening in the black community and big cities in general is a direct result of Obama’s policies regarding police. Obama created more black victims of violent crime than any modern-day president.

Obama engendered hate groups like BLM, when he refused to stand on the side of law and order.

Black Leftists can’t condemn the police, then expect them to protect you with vigor.

Watch as Kevin Jackson debates attorney Eric Guster, and makes the case for sanity over lunacy.
