Monica Lewinsky Defends Barron Trump: ‘Be Better Than This’

When Monica Lewinsky sides with Conservatives, Leftists should see this as the Seventh Sign.

Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich viciously attacked young Barron Trump, as we noted a while back:

homeschool-shooterHere is what Rich actually tweeted.

As soon as the tweet went started to go viral, Rich quickly deleted it.

Barron is a 10-year old kid, who has done nothing to anybody. He happens to be the child of a billionaire who dared challenge the Leftist establishment, and thus he is now fair game, as well as his dad?

Rich was suspended indefinitely after posting the tweet, and rightfully so. I am surprised NBC actually did anything, given the hatred Leftists feel for Trump.

But an unlikely ally arose, as former White House intern Monica Lewinsky came to the defense of Barron Trump. Let’s face it; Lewinsky knows a bit about being bullied. After all, it was she who brought down Bill Clinton, right?

Anyway, Lewinsky responded to the incident by reposting a Bustle.com article on her Twitter account with the caption:

“all children need to be protected from bullying + mockery.”

After news of her affair with President Bill Clinton became public, Lewinsky was victimized relentlessly, particularly over the internet. As we learned in an interview by her after years of silence, she contemplated suicide at one point.

monica-lewinskyLewinsky commented to The Wrap back in April of last year,

“Overnight, I went from being a completely private figure to a publicly humiliated one worldwide. Granted, it was before social media, but people could still comment online, email stories, and, of course, email cruel jokes. I was branded as a tramp, tart, slut, whore, bimbo, and, of course, ‘that woman,’”

Unlike most people’s indiscretions, Lewinsky’s has lingered since it happened.

At a TED Talk back in 2015, Lewinsky described the ongoing torment of the incident with Clinton that ruined her reputation.

“Not a day goes by that I am not reminded of my mistake, and I regret that mistake deeply,” she said at the time.

The former White House intern is now a staunch anti-bullying activist.

Ironically, Chelsea Clinton joined Lewinsky in defense of Barron Trump, as she tweeted,

“Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does — to be a kid.”

Rich eventually reactivated her Twitter account on Monday and issued an apology.

“I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet. I deeply regret my actions and offensive words,” she wrote. “It was inexcusable & I’m so sorry.”

Rich is sorry, like most Leftists. She is sorry her mindless idiocy would win her new fame. This time it backfired. I suggest she and other Leftist bullies get used to the backlash that’s finally coming their way.
