According to Rassmussen:
“…daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 37% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2.”
In the latest Reuters poll, President Trump also holds a 50.1% approval rating.
And let’s remember folks, these polls are NOT done with the idea of doing President Trump any favors. If we got the real polls, the president might be in the 70 percent approval range.
Recall what the polls were during the transition?
We were told he then President-elect Trump had the “lowest numbers ever.”
Here’s how CNN reported it,
Donald Trump will become president Friday with an approval rating of just 40%, according to a new CNN/ORC Poll, the lowest of any recent president and 44 points below that of President Barack Obama, the 44th president.
Politico referenced a Washington Post article, and a Monmouth poll:
The Monmouth poll also shows Trump’s favorable rating underwater: 34 percent favorable, versus 46 percent unfavorable. (Monmouth offered respondents a “no opinion” option, leading to lower percentages for both favorable and unfavorable than other pollsters.)
The more you reflect on these polls, the more you realize how bad the media lied…again.
If they couldn’t beat Trump in the election, they could certainly “data-whip” him.
Here’s what Public Policy Polling reported one week into the Trump presidency:
Americans Think Trump Will Be Worst President Since Nixon
PPP’s newest national poll finds Donald Trump continuing to fare poorly with the public in his first week in office. Voters split evenly in their appraisals of his job performance with 44% approving and 44% disapproving of him. These are historically awful numbers for a newly elected President. When it comes to Trump’s favorability rating, only 44% of voters see him positively to 50% with a negative opinion. By contrast the women who participated in marches across the country last weekend against Trump are seen positively by 50% of voters, to just 41% who see them poorly.
Don’t worry. The media won’t let up, but President Trump will just keep doing what he does…WINNING!
