Texas Judge Suspended After Officials Find Out She’s Not a US Citizen

Here I thought government was to protect us from enemies foreign and domestic, then I learn this.

You know Liberalism runs rampant when the people who sit in judgment of you are not citizens.

According to the Waco Tribune,

Officials in South Texas have placed a municipal court judge on unpaid leave after it was discovered she’s not a U.S. citizen.

Corpus Christi Mayor Pro-Tem Lucy Rubio told the Corpus Christi Caller-Times that Judge Young Min Burkett was placed on leave for 90 days with the intention that will be enough time for her to obtain citizenship.

Rubio says the city never asked during the qualification process to become a municipal judge whether Burkett was a citizen, and says Burkett never tried to deceive or misrepresent her background.

I love how these Leftists attempt their cover-up. He never asked, thus she never deceived.

Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t these people KNOW THE LAW?

The fact that she didn’t volunteer that she wasn’t a citizen had to violate SOME law, right?

And what’s with this unpaid leave? She should have to pay us back.

And here’s something you can bet the Left wants to ignore. The job this illegal stole is the job of a JUDGE! We aren’t talking about slaving in 100 degrees picking beans.

So I have a question for Leftists: Is this one of the jobs Americans don’t want?

Back to the unspoken lie.

When you fill out employment papers, do you not have to answer a question of citizenship? Maybe you don’t when picking fruit in the People’s Republic of California, but we need to know our JUDGES ARE LEGAL, do we not?

According to USA Today, she didn’t.

A question about citizenship wasn’t on the application for appointment, Corpus Christi City Councilman Rudy Garza Jr. said Wednesday. The documents instead had a question about whether the applicant was eligible for legal employment in the state.

I call BS. Further, anybody who is a judge should know that she can’t be a judge unless she’s a citizen.

Despite lying about her citizenship, Judge Young Min Burkett has 90 days to become a citizen.

And in a real twist of irony, her rulings will stand.

What’s most shocking about this story?

Young Min is not Mexican!

See, my outrage remains the same, regardless of race. Whew…that was close.

At least Young Min processed legally into the country, and she is a legal resident. Further, she married a “gweilo”, that’s white person for you English-only speaking patriots.
