8 Women the “Feminist Friendly” Democratic Party isn’t Ready for in 2017
In a piece written this week, Cosmopolitan senior writer Rebecca Nelson highlighted seven women who are supposedly “generating 2020 buzz.”
No surprise, but every woman on her list is either a Democratic politician or a public figure committed to the Left-wing progressive movement.
A large excuse waged on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign was that “America just wasn’t ready for a woman to lead them yet.” We disagree.
America will be led by a woman. However, it needs to be the RIGHT woman. Thus, on behalf of everyone who called BS on that, here is a list of women whom America could allow to take the lead:
1. (Honorary) Phyllis Schlafly
Although she passed away earlier this year, by default, I have to start with Mrs. Schlafly for she is the true pioneer of the female conservative movement. Most notably known for her movement against the Equal Rights Amendment, Schlafly has gone toe to toe with women (and in these cases, I use that term loosely) Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan who famously said to her, “I’d like to burn you at the stake!” during a public debate over the passage of the ERA. Throughout her life, she seemed to have a special ability to infuriate feminists and she took pleasure in it. She used to enjoy beginning her remarks by thanking her husband for letting her come because, “I always like to say that, because it makes the libs so mad.”
2. Laura Ingraham
Laura Ingraham is a nationally syndicated author, radio show host, political commentator and one of the leaders of today’s conservative movement. Oh, and did I mention she is the single mother of three adopted children? That probably doesn’t mean much to the Left though if Ingraham is a conservative. It only counts if you balance a professional and family life if you do so and then give credit to the Democratic Party, right? It seems as though Laura is the prime example of “having it all” and the Left hates it. You go, Laura!
3. Antonia Okafor
Antonia Okafor has been taking the internet, and the 2nd Amendment debate, by storm. If you haven’t heard her name yet, you’d better get familiar with it now. The National Rifle Association sure has! The NRA took notice of her activism and had her star in one of their “Freedom’s Safest Place” commercials, a national campaign that highlights the diversity of NRA members. Last March, BET published a cheap hit piece on Okafor because she is a black woman who went on Final Thoughts with Tomi Lahren. A divisive article coming from the Left? NO WAY! But that only fueled Okafor’s fire. In July, the NRA has released “I Didn’t Listen,” a powerful new commercial featuring Antonia Okafor—who refused to be put in a box. She opens her commentary saying, “I’ve been told that black women aren’t supposed to support the Second Amendment.” What does the Left think of a black woman taking her life out of the government’s hands and into her own?
4. Dana Loesch
Dana Loesch is an author, a national radio show host, and television host for TheBlaze. At 21 years old, Loesch got pregnant and, to the detestation of the Left, got married and had her first son with her husband Chris. Raised by a single mother, Loesch grew up a Democrat. And it wasn’t until 9/11 did she become a conservative. Loesch is no stranger to hate from the Left, being called racist, transphobic, and even sexist. She has stood by her principles amid much controversy throughout her career and young conservative women are lucky to have her as a leader of the conservative movement.
5. Mia Love
Mia Love is a name the Left really doesn’t want you to know. Why? Because she is black, she’s conservative, and she is successful. Based off of these three things, Love doesn’t fit the narrative that the Left paints of the black communities in America in order to pimp them out for the Left’s own agenda. The congresswoman from Utah is the first Haitian-American and first black female Republican in Congress and the former mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah. Elected to the House in 2014, Love says she favors “fiscal discipline, limited government, and personal responsibility.” She has also said that she asks herself three questions whenever she approaches an issue: “Is it affordable? Is it sustainable? Is it my job?”
6. Kellyanne Conway
Well, duh. You can’t have a list of the most successful up and powerful women of the movement without seeing Kellyanne Conway’s name! She is the first woman to ever successfully run a presidential campaign, what else do you need to know? She should be any true feminist’s icon, but for some reason she is public enemy no. 1 to the Left. After her dad divorced her mother when she was three years old, she was raised by her mother, grandmother, and two unmarried aunts–every feminist’s ideal family structure. How could they NOT love her? Oh that’s right, because she stands for traditional values. Kellyanne’s work on the 2016 campaign was just the beginning; expect to see much more from this amazing, influential woman.
7. Nikki Haley
On November 23, 2016 president-elect Trump nominated Haley for Ambassador to the United Nations. On January 24, 2017, Haley was confirmed by the Senate 96-4 to become Donald Trump’s Ambassador to the United Nations. The four that voted against Haley were: Senators Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Tom Udall (D-N.M.), and Chris Coons (D-Del.) Haley is the first Indian-American to hold a cabinet level position. Haley was raised Sikh but has since converted to Christianity. She made Time Magazine’s top 100 most influential people of 2016. We have a great 4 years ahead of us with Nikki Haley as one of our leaders.
8. Lila Rose
The ultimate defender of women’s rights which, according to the Left, are “human rights,” is one of the most hated by the Left? Why? Probably because she doesn’t wait until after a child is born to begin defending her rights. Lila Grace Rose is an American Pro-Life activist and the founder of Live Action. She conducts undercover activities in abortion facilities in the United States, including affiliates of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has been on a Planned Parenthood watchlist and STILL managed to expose them for the illegal and unethical activities they were conducting. Lila Rose deserves a Pulitzer prize and she isn’t even 30 years old yet. Keep it up, Lila!
