For true Conservatives, helping our fellow man in a time of disaster has no politics.
We don’t care about color, gender, religion, etc. But for the Left, things work dramatically different.
As Fix This Nation reports,
For proof, see the Women’s March, which has taken their successful march in Washington at the start of the year and turned themselves into an ongoing organization for left-wing causes. On Wednesday, organizers sent out a tweet asking people to donate to victims of Hurricane Harvey, but apparently they only care about how non-whites were affected by the tragedy.
“Here’s a list of orgs working to keep immigrant, Black, Latinx & other communities safe after Hurricane Harvey,” the organization tweeted. They included a link to an online article designed to help people find charities that provide aid to “communities of color in Houston.”
As unseemly as that was, Muslim activist Linda Sarsour – herself a major Women’s March organizer – went the group one better by committing outright fraud in the name of hurricane donations. Sarsour requested that her followers donate to the Harvey Hurricane Relief Fund, which sounds like the kind of charity one would want to give their hard-earned money to at a time like this. Unfortunately, it’s a sham. When you peel back the cover on this front organization, you see it has little or nothing to do with actual disaster relief.
From the official website:
Together we will organize and advocate for our devastated communities, shining a spotlight on inequalities that emerge in the restoration of lives, livelihoods, and homes, amplifying the needs of hard-hit communities, and providing legal assistance for residents wrongfully denied government support.
Sarsour was rightly pillared by Leftist for attempting to profiteer on Hurricane Harvey. Her organization fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood.
As the article continues,
So it’s immediately obvious that this charity has nothing to do with providing water, food, or shelter to those in desperate need from this hurricane. The money raised will go to the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund, which is a charity dedicated to advancing “racial and economic justice” through community organizing. Meaning, ultimately, that it has nothing to do with the hurricane at all, and is simply a political organization dedicated to more of the racially divisive nonsense that we’ve seen all too much of in recent years.
Sarsour is a fraud. And any American who supports her or her cause doesn’t know the meaning of being an American.
