HELL ENSUES: Fox and Friends FEATURES Black Child in Watermelon Costume

Doesn’t Fox News know that use of the watermelon requires a PERMIT!

Look at what happened to that firefighter who brought a watermelon to the fire station:

On his first day of work, Firefighter Robert Pattison showed up with a gift. Then, he was shown the door.

As Second Battalion Chief Shawn McCarty explains, the welcome gift is a sort of tradition at Engine 55. Most rookies bring donuts. However, there is no rule governing the tradition. Therefore, it’s up to the fireman to decide exactly what to bring.

Unfortunately for Pattison, he wanted to stand out from the crowd. He thought the cool, refreshing watermelon would be much better than donuts. Sadly, the others at the fire station immediately jumped to conclusions. They assumed Pattison was feeding the black folks some stereotypical fruit. Luckily, Pattison didn’t bring Kool-Aid to go with it.

As Fox News learned:

FOX 2 spoke to Pattison by phone, who claims it was not a joke – and he did not mean to offend his fellow firefighters. But he clearly did. Fire Commissioner Eric Jones says the Fenton native was officially discharged.

In a statement Jones says: “There is zero tolerance for discriminatory behavior inside the Detroit Fire Department. On Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Engine 55, a trial firefighter (probationary employee) engaged in unsatisfactory work behavior which was deemed offensive and racially insensitive to members of the Detroit Fire Department.

“After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the best course of action was to terminate the employment of this probationary employee.”

And now Fox and Friends has made the same faux pas?

As the New York Daily News reported,

“Fox and Friends” dredged up a racist stereotype Sunday during a segment about Halloween costumes for kids.

As hosts paraded out children in inexpensive, homemade outfits ideal for parents who didn’t get a $32 million sexual harassment payout from Bill O’Reilly, they chose to dress a black child up as a watermelon, AOL reports.

“Now we’re going to have some organic fruit,” said one of the adults. “Lucas is our watermelon!”

Below is a picture of Lucas.

I can’t tell what nationality Lucas is, not that it matters.

The person who should be flogged is the parent who got Lucas the watermelon costume! I doubt Fox and Friends had them in the green room, and asked Lucas to put it on.

My bet is some conniving Leftists TRICKED them into putting Lucas in that “racist” watermelon outfit.

But what’s more disturbing is the nature of the video. According to the article, the video was B-roll for a discussion of Bill O’Reilly. I know, I’m confused too.

How does Bill O’Reilly’s sexual misconduct allegations relate to a supposedly black kid in a watermelon suit.

Regardless, do we really know what ethnicity Lucas is? He could be Dominican, Puerto Rican, Spaniard, and a host of other things. So why do we presume him to be black. Moreover, is the watermelon costume ok if Lucas isn’t black? And if so, why?

I suggest white people put their foot down, lest they get banned from the watermelons while shopping.

Personally, I would love to see a “Blacks Only” sign on watermelon, leaving more of those tasty bastards for me!
