Jerry Brown Admits Truth: President Trump was RIGHT

President Trump has a knack for calling out fraud Leftist narratives.

He did this right out of the gate when he began his presidential run.

Recall when Donald Trump called some Mexicans invading America, drug dealers, gang members, and other criminals. The Left tried to have a field day with his statements. They wrongly bet that he would never receive the Republican nomination.

Later, once they thought Trump’s rhetoric would doom him, the Left helped him win the nomination. This decision they later regretted. Because Trump won, and thankfully so.

Recently, Trump being Trump blamed the California wildfires on the real problem…California.

While Leftists try to blame global climate change and other nonsense, President Trump again provided a dose of reality.

Now it appears Jerry Brown quietly admitted President Trump is correct.

Brown now suggests that California should improve their forestry. Further, he now urges state legislators to loosen logging restrictions.

To appease environmentalists, California imposed restrictions that now put citizens in harm’s way.

The Santa Cruz Sentinel reports that Brown now proposes one of the most significant changes to the state’s logging rules in nearly half a century.

“Gov. Jerry Brown is proposing broad new changes to California’s logging rules that would allow landowners to cut larger trees and build temporary roads without obtaining a permit as a way to thin more forests across the state,” the paper reports.

The previous rules made no sense, and put people’s lives in danger. To not cut back trees and build fault lines proved deadly. Further, the lack of roads allowed little chance of escape for some.

Nevertheless, environmentalists in California resist.

In fact, environmentalists want more restrictive laws and push for this year after year. However, in the wake of the deadliest fires in decades that decimated the state, lawmakers understand the optics. Because even dumb Californians know now to blame global climate change for something ConEd created with an electrical spark.

Interestingly, while Jerry Brown and his Leftist ilk stealthily join President Trump in his assessment. Others do not.

Brian Williams of MSNBC attempted to refute the president. He used firefighters apparently hopeful for their 15 seconds of fame.

If I were Brian Williams, I would check, double-check, then check again any story I reported. After all, he is the man who is the most interesting liar in the world.

Let’s look at the “Forest Fire Season” for California in 2017. According to Vox,

In California — where more than 1 million acres and 10,000 structures have burned and 42 people have been killed from fires — the 2017 season is without precedent in its destruction. (And it’s far from over — as of Tuesday morning, the Thomas Fire in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, which has already burned an area larger than New York City, was only 20 percent contained.)

So clearly California had a forest fire problem in 2017.

The article continues.

So what’s going on here? This must be climate change at work, right?

Yes and no.

That’s a great way to cover your ass. But as the article continues, the author debunks the idea that these fires are caused by climate change.

Scientists have found that human-caused climate change is increasing the frequency and size of wildfires for much of the United States, particularly in forested areas like those that burned in Montana in September and in Northern California in October.

But as with the 2017 hurricane season, it’s hard to tease out the influence of climate change in any individual fire.

And in the case of the Southern California fires, the signal is weaker.

Massive December fires are unusual around Los Angeles. But when it comes to humanity’s role in the destructive blazes, scientists say our habit of building in harm’s way may be a bigger factor in the fire’s devastation than rising temperatures due to burning fossil fuels.

Wildfires do occur on their own in many parts of the United States, but humans now ignite the vast majority of them. As more people crowd into neighborhoods next to dry brush and parched forests, the likelihood of an ember from a barbecue grill or a spark from a lawnmower triggering an inferno shoots up.

So we’ve known for some time that humans cause most forest fires. Yet, Leftists blame the climate.

And the worst humans who cause forest fires are environmentalists. Because they force unsafe regulations. Thus we find ourselves in the Fire Season 2018:

Yet again, California boasts the most destructive wildfire season on record. A total of 7,579 fires burning an area of 1,667,855 acres (674,957 ha), the largest amount of burned acreage recorded in a fire season, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) and the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC), as of November 11.

The fires have caused more than $2.975 billion (2018 USD) in damages, including $1.366 billion in fire suppression costs. Through the end of August 2018, Cal Fire alone spent $432 million on operations.

Leftism costs trillions. And worse yet, Leftism kills. It looks like Jerry Brown at least recognizes Leftism sucks when it comes to fires.
