Elizabeth Warren: Made a Mistake in her Heritage Claims

I have said for some time that Donald Trump’s pragmatism got him elected.

The American people wanted a guy who called things as they were. Trump is the guy who tells you, you have a booger hanging from your nose. He doesn’t let you walk around with it for half a day.

While it might be embarrassing for a moment, better to get the damn thing out before you do a meet-and-greet with the Chinese trade delegation. So when it comes to problem-solving, “Trump pulls the band-aid off quickly”.

Trump has done this numerous times. He began with immigration, Obamacare, trade policy, NATO, North Korea, and so on. And almost every time Trump proved himself to be correct. In fact, I honestly can’t think of a time when he’s been wrong.

On social issues, Trump is uncanny for his perceptions. He seems to know when what seems like an innocuous issue deserves a fight. Like with the NFL kneelers.

Trump angered many Conservatives when he addressed Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem. People called him “petty”. But Trump saw the bigger issue. If he was Make America Great Again, then he needed to address the multi-millionaire frauds belittling the country.

I think most would agree, Trump won. Kaepernick sits out another season, and America finally took notice of the scam of “social justice”.

Another movement Trump met head-on in a game of chicken is the #MeToo movement. This group of feminists, frauds who deflect from the real misogyny and try to blame Trump. They wholly ignore the fact that it is they who allowed themselves to be used. And all for the sake of fame and fortune, the quintessential definition of a sellout. Further, Leftist men benefited from these frauds, men like Harvey Weinstein.

Still, the #MeToo movement targeted Trump. They made allegations of infidelity with various women. Next, they marched in DC after his inauguration, as if the decades of sexual abuse of women was Trump’s fault.

Finally, in a laughable strategy they selected a porn star to take Trump down. She now owes the billionaire president almost a million dollars.

But Trump wasn’t finished with the #MeToo women. He went after one of their sacred cows: Elizabeth Warren.

As I’ve discussed, Democrats anointed Warren. She was to be the poster child of the new Democrat. A Native America Horatio Alger story.

She was placed in the Senate, hand-picked. Democrats fast-tracked Warren for top Senate committees, as they positioned her for more lofty roles. And then came Trump.

Speculation existed over Warren’s heritage for decades, but nobody seriously called her out on it. Thus, the fake news media provided cover.  Was she or wasn’t she Indian.

Like Christine Blasey Ford, Warren tried to recreate her history. Then ultimately she tried to scrub it. Interestingly, she then tried to “Steele dossier” her history by taking the ill-fated DNA test.

As the New York Times writes,

The plan was straightforward: After years of being challenged by President Trump and others about a decades-old claim of Native American ancestry, Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts would take a DNA test to prove her stated family origins in the Cherokee and Delaware tribes.

But nearly two months after Ms. Warren released the test results and drew hostile reactions from prominent tribal leaders, the lingering cloud over her likely presidential campaign has only darkened. Conservatives have continued to ridicule her. More worrisome to supporters of Ms. Warren’s presidential ambitions, she has yet to allay criticism from grass-roots progressive groups, liberal political operatives and other potential 2020 allies who complain that she put too much emphasis on the controversial field of racial science — and, in doing so, played into Mr. Trump’s hands.

I love how the NYT put this: “played into Mr. Trump’s hands”.

Trump didn’t know or care who Elizabeth Warren was decades ago. It was Warren who blatantly lied about her ancestry. And she did so to get ahead in her careers…yes, all her careers.

All Trump did is what Trump does. He called her out for her blatant lies. And he had the media power to make it stick.

I’m amazed at how the media attempts to make Trump the bad guy, when clearly Warren represents the antagonist in this drama.

The article continues,

Advisers close to Ms. Warren say she has privately expressed concern that she may have damaged her relationships to Native American groups and her own standing with activists, particularly those who are racial minorities. Several outside advisers are even more worried: They say they believe a plan should be made to repair that damage, possibly including a strong statement of apology.

The advisers say Ms. Warren will have to confront the issue again if she announces a presidential campaign, which is expected in the coming weeks, and several would like her to act soon.

Of course she will have to address the issue again if she runs.

Because unlike John McCain and Mitt Romney who didn’t have the balls to call out Obama, Trump has balls the size of Mt. Everest. And he’s not afraid to shove them in the face of the Left.

As for Warren’s fix for this problem, there isn’t one. So, she’s the Brian Williams of politics, and just makes up stories to suit her circumstances and needs.

The article continues,

For some Warren allies and progressive groups, Ms. Warren’s standing by the DNA test amounts to profoundly poor judgment. Some said she was too reactive to Mr. Trump’s attacks — test results would never silence a president who often disregards facts, they said — and created a distraction from her own trademark message of economic populism. The president revels in repeatedly slurring Ms. Warren as “Pocahontas,” and conservative commentators like Howie Carr of The Boston Herald have enjoyed holding the DNA issue over the senator’s head.

“The biggest risk in engaging a bully is that bullies don’t usually stop, regardless of what the truth is,” said Charles Chamberlain, executive director for the progressive political group Democracy for America. Mr. Chamberlain’s group had, in 2014, launched a “Run Warren Run” campaign to encourage her to seek the 2016 presidential nomination.

“When you can’t win an argument,” he added, “then sometimes it’s not worth having that argument.”

Warren started the lie, got caught in the lie, and stood by the lie. But now she blames Trump.

Trump sought the truth. And Democrats hate the truth, because most of them are pathological liars. As Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Barack Obama, and the entirety of the Democrat establishment now learns, Trump relentlessly seeks the truth. Ironically, Democrats’ lies lead him right to the truth.
