Pamela Troeppl

Pamela Troeppl is a nationally published humor columnist. Her work has been seen in The Chicago Sun Times, The Seattle Times and many other major dailies across the country. She has been married to the same man for over 25 years and they have produced four offspring. These two feats alone should render her eligible for a Purple Heart, a Nobel Peace Prize and a Pulitzer. One of her editors likened her work to Erma-Bombeck-meets-Dave-Barry, but we'll keep letting her think she's original. Pamela is a Christian, she is a Conservative, and despite the fact that she does not have a potty mouth, she still manages to tell it like it is. In fact, her blog is entitled, "It's Like This,” Pamela's take on things is humorous, witty and engaging, even when the topic is not.

I believe there should be a 12 step program out there for those who are trying to kick the porn Obama addiction. Once you start to watch porn Obama on your smartphone, you are more at risk for drinking more of the koolaid downloading malware that can disastrously effect your morality, family, finances smart phone.

As droning goes, it's hard to beat a senate hearing. And although most don't get nearly enough press (mostly because the Senate Drones put other Senate drones to sleep), there have been some memorable moments in Senate Drone History.

When you are in debt, the prudent thing is to not go further into debt.

If you notice there, Mr. Paul, it says there is a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace. The time to love Chris Kyle's family is now. Shame on you, Ron Paul. Shame on you.

Obama has been doped. Not that it has improved his performance, it has simply allowed him to take our once powerful nation further on the path to socialism and further into debt. He feels he can do no wrong.

I do not wish to go back to the days when a woman's place was ONLY in the home, and June Cleaver wore pearls and a dress while she cleaned the house—I do miss the civility, the propperness, the down-right politeness of people. And for the record? I don't own any pearls, but I do clean house. Ad nauseam.

If you do not have special people in your life, get some. And by special people, I mean people with special needs, be they sweet smiling Down Syndrome kids, rocking that extra chromosome, or adults with cerebral palsy. Although their bodies don't cooperate with their minds, like yours and mine do, they are fully intact mentally. And they will bless your life.

Chavez has never been big on transparency; Being a dictator means you only let the ants see what you want them to see. You don't leave the good stuff out; You save the wealth for your own private anthill compatriots.

I am a unique kind of Conservative, although perhaps not as unique as I’d like to think. There are no guns in my home, yet I firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment, allowing citizens to arm themselves. I also enjoy […]
