 //  Blacks Turning on Obama

Posted on Monday, October 18th, 2010 by Kevin Jackson

Invest in my Amazon best-selling book, The BIG Black Lie. It’s the funniest political book ever!

Obama is more confused than a woodpecker in a concrete forest.  He has no real idea how he has fallen so fast from grace. So Obama finds himself in very uncomfortable territory—He knows that he is insane, but still not sure what’s wrong.

I warned people a while back that Obama really didn’t want to be president; he just wanted to win it! Obama is lazy at heart, and all he wanted were the awards and the accolades of the presidency, not the work!

Let others handle the details, I’m just here for the perks.

Handle things the Obama team has.  They have put Obama and the entire Democrat Party between a rock…and a bigger rock!

Democrats have lost the Independents who are hinting privately, “That Negro is crazy!”

Youth are demoralized, as we learn that 85% of college graduates are moving back home with Mom and Dad, because they can’t get jobs—not that Mom and Dad are doing that great themselves.

The Left of center appears to have been spooked by the ghost of Reagan!  They are running to the right faster than illegal immigrants coming to America.

So Obama is back doing what he loves…campaigning.

His favorite saying on the campaign trail is “You don’t want to go back to the failed policies of the past eight years!” When he is not saying this, he uses the analogy that the Republican drove the car in the ditch. Well we got the car out of the ditch and Obama is driving it off the cliff!

Obama’s policies have cost more money than all the white guys before him, and Obama has doubled unemployment. Talk about propagating the stereotype: “There goes the neighborhood.” If Obama keeps driving, he will drive America to Mexico!

Despite loving to campaign, even Obama knows he’s in big trouble.

I have said for some time that Obama’s approval in the black demography is slipping, despite what the polls say.  I believe the evidence of Obama’s desperation came with his inviting “selective” black media to the White House.

This tactic was interesting for two reasons.  First, sneaking in the black press is an indicator that Obama knows that the “white press” is abandoning him. Obama appears to have been trying to pull a fast one on the white media.

Next, this tactic reminded me of something that would have happened during the ‘60’s under a white Democrat president. They were “sneaking...

Buy_now
blacks in the back door,” as the White House was embarrassed to let America know that are, shhh…talking to the black press.

This is not the first time that blacks were treated as second-class citizens by this administration.  The black press has felt snubbed by Obama during his campaign, as they were only granted limited coverage. Obama took for granted that the black press would cover him favorably during his campaign, and they gladly accommodated.

Shortly after his election however, Obama continued taking the black media for granted, He proved was no different than white Democrat presidents who for years had taken the black vote for granted, as Obama dissed the black press. Under Obama, the black press was allowed into press conferences; however they were reseated and given no real seat at the table.

Obama believed that the black vote was well in hand, and the black press was not going to become yet another debt he had to repay. The list for payback was already long, with the Unions, special interests groups, then Obama’s political handlers. No other Democrat candidate had to be accountable to blacks, why should Obama.

The black press felt they had played a role in getting Obama elected, and he rewarded them by inviting them to the party, then making them “the help.” As soon as Obama got in office, he became whiter than Harry Reid, and traded his basketball for the golf clubs. Obama’s black media liaison—who resigned in August—spent more time keeping the black media away from Obama, so they wouldn’t see that Obama couldn’t even spell BET.

Here’s the wrap:

Obama is trying to do damage control in the black community—the only community where Obama still has a foothold.  He knows that if he loses this solid base, he is of no use to the Democrats who put him in power.

Democrats in general know that if they lose the black community, this won’t just affect the election of 2010, but would have a ripple effect that would be devastating to the Regressive agenda for years to come.

As for the black community, they are waking up.  The black community is slowly realizing that Uncle Barry has schizophrenia, and that he is no rock star.

Obama has unknowingly brought back the Reagan Revolution, as many blacks are seeing Democrats for what they really are, regardless of color.

As for Obama, unless he takes his meds, his malady will just get worse.

That’s my rant!

85% of college graduates are moving back home with Mom and Dad? That's incredible! Where did you get this statistic from? I'm going to have to send that link to my friends. Keep up the great work!

As a black person, conservative, and American by choice. It'll be a good day when the majority of blacks do see what the democrats for what they really are…. A good 30% shift to the right, will cook the Dems

It won't take 30% John, and it's coming! The shift has begun, as my blog indicates! Obama knows it, and so do his Masters!

Kevin, I think that many blacks are going to jump from the Obamatanic. I think they are not disgusted w ith Obama but more along the line by returning to what we would call the "Democrats" Its as if they in the beginnig were going to be a part of the way left and would be taken care of. I think that the mindset is 'Hey the brother let us down"They are going to kick him to the curb because he is more of a "Uncle Tom" than a Saviour. I hink they see Obama play his black hand to the black community for votes with the promise of more social programs and then he plays his "white" hand to tthe white community for funds. They are seeing nothing is coming back to them as they thought.
They like the brother but they dont trust him. Reason being he is just a tad bit to much white."

Nice writing, I like a little humor with my education. I heard a talking head make a point that became an Ah-ha moment for me. President Obama does not relate with American blacks. He did not step onto the contiguous 48 states until he was 17, before that he was in Hawaii, Indonesia and Africa. The black strife in the U.S. and the fight to overcome are not part of his being. What is part of his make up is globalism. That's all he knows and feels.

Obama hasn't only declared war on the Tea Party, Conservatives, Republicans, and anyone that speaks out against him, he has declared war on a vast majority of life long Democrats! Hillbuzz is a blog that I follow regularly. The bloggers were all staunch Democrats for their entire lives. They were dedicated to Hillary …for President 2008. This article is an amazing look into the psyche' of the Democrats that have now turned their back on the party and are actively working to elect Conservatives and Republicans into office. http://hillbuzz.org/2010/10/16/confirmed-hillary-...

You are correct that the cracks are showing and growing larger every day. I live outside of DC in a very progressive area. They are not happy. Of course they are not happy for the polar opposite reason of you and I, but they are unhappy all the same.

It is way too early to say what will happen in 12, but if he were on the ballot today he would be history. We must be very careful who we nominate, because it is clear he must be a one termer.

I sensed from the very beginning that Obama was not what he said he was.

Before I had heard him utter a single word, I sensed there was something about him that just wasn't right.

I was reading a brief article in which he announced he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President, back in 2007.

I felt uneasy just looking at his photo.

Then I heard him talk, and talk, and talk some more.

He was talking, but he wasn't saying anything.

He seemed to be saying whatever he thought people wanted to hear, promising everything to everybody, enthralled with the sound of his own voice.

He is divisive, destructive, delusional and disappointing, at least to most those who voted for him.

I'm so glad I didn't.

May I ask who wrote and pushed the Community Reinvestment Act? That remark on Graham is no different than Obama screaming about undeclared funds. Kind like Obama's background. Thank you. Deregulation is not always the answer for Social ist or Capitalist. Sometime it's the regulation that's at fault. As per say the very creation of sub-prime mortgages; the Community Reinvestment Act; requiring banks to give out bad mortgages in order to expand; promising these banks to buy the bad loans from them. All these REGULATIONS were bad and helped to cause the mess we're in.

As much as I dislike Obama he is an American, if by that you mean a US citizen. His mother was an American citizen and, as far as I know, did not renounce her citizenship. This means that BHO is an American citizen, no matter where he was born. Now, if you mean that he isn’t American because he didn’t live in the continental US until he was 17, well that means that Hawaiians aren’t American, and neither are Alaskans, and neither are people like my wife and my parents who love this country and not only believe in the American dream but are living it.
If you mean that he isn’t American because social ism is anti-American, then, in that sense, I agree with you.

See, it's these little bogus lies that "conservatives" are so eager to permeate which turn me off from the Tea Party bandwagon. Obama was born in Kansas and lived there for at least 3 yrs. So he lived in Hawaii/Indonesia as a kidd, what's your point? By that logic, Sarah Palin is a "lesser" American because she also isn't from one of the "contiguous 48 states." Furthermore, you're invoking this typical (and frankly TIRED) xenophobic attitude that somehow unless you were born and raised somewhere in between NY and Cali, you ain't a real American. As a Rwandan national, I think that conservatives could have real success attracting African immigrants to their causes (for similar reasons why there is some support from the Latino community). Yet my own mother, who does not believe in gay rights or abortion rights, considers Palin "crazy." The message of fiscal responsibility resonates tremendously, especially with engaged youth (i count myself among these), but until ya'll stop race-baiting and referring to foreigners and marginalized minorities in these not-as-subtle-as-you-like-to-think and derogatory terms, your movement will burn out FAST.

The government= you and me who are working? By businesses??? Who hire people and allow them to make an honest living??
How do we change that??? You have SEIU who along with the Dems, keep telling people to vote Dems in who will give them great jobs and pensions? How do we explain to these millions of people that no one should gain a job from a political party or union that they then will owe everything to= slavery?
How do we make people understand that freedom comes with great risks and pain, but it worth it in the long run??

Whether the black community is beginning to wake up or not – this is still going to be a tough election cycle. There are at least 7 states that have not gotten military ballots out on time…so our boys and girls overseas may not be able to have their votes counted. Additionally, both here in NJ and PA…there have been instances where the dem candidate has supported 'mystery' tea party candidates – individuals that are really dems – in an effort to siphon off votes from the repubs. Campaign rhetoric aside.. the election is going to get ugly.

Most people who are black by color and are republicans and so called conservatives I find have ,(aqs my grandmother used to say) a penny over a dollar and think they are rich and have somehow made it in the white man's world.,because me this is still the white man's world and if the republicans return to office you black(HA HA) conservatives will soon find out.No social security which is not free but earned via working as I have done for 30 plus years and deserve it ,health care which every one needs and if you don't want it when you get sick stay home and take an aspirin. The democrats are the people of the democracy. We live in a democratic society not a republican society or some of us do I suppose. So stay with your tea party friends and wait until they go behind their closed doors and see what they have in store for you and me if they regain the senate and the house.I am educated as you i suppose seem to be but I can think for myself,I don't need people like kevin to disuade me from my people and you should 't either.Read your history,at one time we could(Blacks)be democrats,,why the change.research it.

And as far as Tiger goes he never associated himself with blacks or wanted to be called black so why should WE(THE BLACK COMMUNIITY) feel sorry for him ?Blacks always have a way of wanting to know why the black community don't feel sorry for them when they are ousted or shamed by the whites and they have no place to go and think we should welcome them with open arms. You my brother will one day feel that same grief.Maybe not today but,it is coming when your friends the republicans (IF THEY DO) take over.Welcome home homey…

I hope you're kidding about Obama being born in Kansas. His birth certificate states that he was born in Hawaii. He moved to Indonesia when he was 6 and then returned to Hawaii when he was 10 and came to the mainland for college.

None of this means that he wasn't an American, only that he didn't grow up American and as the poster above mentioned didn't live the American black experience. That means something, not for an electrician, or a systems analyst or an attorney but it does for a politician, especially for a politician who is trying to resonate with certain American voting blocks: in Obama's case American blacks.

As far as your mother finding Palin crazy part of that is she can't relate to Palin. Palin resonates well with country, small-town America: the cadence of her speech, her mannerisms, her enthusiasm. Big city people (such as myself) tend to be put off by her folksiness and too many of these big city folks equate Harvard with intelligence and ability and don't seem to think that small town experience matters for much.

theclassicallib says:

There is more to the United States than slavery. This country is also built on the belief that the individual has value; that the state is not the master of all it controls but is in fact a created enterprise which exists to protect the rights of the citizens and to uphold the social contrat: "I promise not to kill you and take your stuff if you promise not to kill me and take mine."

All early societies had slaves. The Romans, Greeks, AND Egyptians.

Tell me Cherie Marie what were the "evil and corrupt principles" upon which this country was built on?

The fact that we created a government
1. with checks and balances.
2. in which the government was not omnipotent.
3. that, in addition to limiting the powers of the government, spelled out the rights of the individual (see Bill of Rights)

Oh, yes slavery. Everything else is to be ignored and forgotten and ridiculed.

"Obama is lazy at heart … "

Now if I had said that … :-)

Black Americans really do need to wonder why this one darker-than-average white man was so appealing to the caviar white liberals in the first place. I've been pushed forward to be the Token Girl enough times that I know when it's happening. Black people know when they are being pushed forward as the Token Colored, too. That happens to you enough times, you learn how to sniff it out in seconds. It's inconceivable to me that Black Americans didn't, in their heart of hearts, know exactly what was going on.

But they figured it was the best they'd get, so they went with it. They made that deal with the devil and crossed their fingers that the fine print wouldn't steal their souls.

It's also interesting to me that the places in my life that have been the most anxious to push me forward as a Token Girl have also been the most misogynist, womanhating places I've ever been. Organizations that push tokens forward do it for one reason only: to hide their hatred behind it. The Token Girl is convenient to them because they can hide their rank woman hatred behind her. The Token Colored is the same way. Pat that caviar white liberal on the back for voting for Obama and absolve them of racism! Just ignore the fact that he or she won't ride commuter transit for fear of sitting next to one!

You remind me of my grandparents. They live on a dairy farm in Nebraska that my great grandpa started about 90 years ago. Wonderful people who love this country. Flo, you are limited in facts about being black. BHO, Tiger woods and other mixed raced individuals do not have to claim being black any more. They are that, mixed raced black and white etc. Do you know why people of mixed raced people long time ago claimed to be black only? Do you know who started the 1% rule? You should find out. I respect Tiger Woods for not limiting his race to black. BHO is another story! I grew up in the 70's and 80's and black men did not like darker skinned black women and all the movie stars on TV and singers have claimed black only but were mixed raced. It seems to me that you are hunged up on something that God did not create. Man created race to conquer and divide and it's being going on at the being of time we as people will not end this issue because of our limited mental abilities.

If you don't know the Democrat's role in the Community Reinvestment Act, you and all the other Democrats who blame conservatives need to do your research. Find out how Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, etc. defended the sub-prime loan debacle and Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac.

If more people were educated about what really happened, less people would be defending the Democratic party.

He's book smart, so he's able to get into college and do well, but because of his background, he doesn't know what it's like to come from a homegrown, hardworking, plain old American with strong traditional beliefs. First, thank you for responding to my point. Of course I understand that it is Palin's characteristics which appeal to many folks and its the same with Obama, all politicians have to jump through these hoops in order to win voters (hence why Hillary discovered her inner southern belle at Selma). I challenge the notion that blacks don't feel Obama connects with their experience based on the fact that most black people (esp women) love the fact that his wife is a Black woman and Black people of all generations were overjoyed by his historic election (I was in Harlem election night and the streets were LITERALLY filled with Black and Hispanic youth, many of whom probably didn't or legally can't vote, yet still feel emotionally connected to him in that Palinesque, intimate way). Unfortunately for Obama, those powerful emotions don't remain aflame for two years.
ANYWAY, your argument still doesn't apply in my opinion, because it takes us down the slippery slope of identity politics, which conservatives, yours truly and the author of this site despise. Not having lived "the black American experience" (lets not even get into that fallacy) isn't a disqualifier to represent black people in legislative chambers or to be able to connect with them emotionally/culturally and this goes across all races and religions, that's the essence of American representative democracy in my opinion, so it shouldn't matter. The Black community is always last to benefit in this country, regardless of who is ruling and I think the reason is BECAUSE as a community we are so heavily Democratic. Our vote is NEVER in play and is steadily losing weight to the Latino vote (and other voting blocs). I think obviously lack of political involvement by Black Americans is a huge problem, but the lack of genuine engagement by Whites/conservatives is equally bothersome to me (whether its out of fear or a sense that it's futile, we've at least got to try to bridge these artificial divisions).
I'm from Ohio and am able to connect with lots of "folksy" people here, many with "small-town accents and mentalities" and many are older and white. The fact that I'm educated and considered well-spoken I'm sure plays a huge part in it. Folksiness turns some folks off, and so do Ghettoness, but only the former is still considered "American" while the latter is usually prejudiced as "criminal."

I'm not ignorant….but you apparently are. Why would I want to go to an event where people wax nostalgic for the good ole days? What you need to do is stop being hateful to anyone who has an opposing idea and realize that you and your tea baggers have racist ideologies that are repugnant ot decent Americans……. anyone with more that peas for brains that is.

Wanting limited government as per the constitution is racist? Being opposed to top-down government control over your life is racist?

You talk about people needing to "stop being hateful to anyone who has an opposing idea" and yet you call your opponents racist. OK, makes sense (NOT) to me.

Kevin: I saw you on MSNBC last week and Mr. Dyson put you in your place. I was pleased to see you look like the idiot you truly must be to think the Republicans give a damn about any person of color. I feel sorry for you and the few other Black Republicans. You all must have been dropped on your heads when you were infants.

Linky Drake, he gave me the heebie-jeebies the first time I saw and heard him speaking on tv. My gut told me that he wasn't who and what he was presenting himself to be. Upon investigation, I discovered…well, nothing about him. He comes from nowhere and everywhere and, as you pointed out, he's whoever he thinks his audience at the moment wants him to be.

I don't know what your forefathers and foremothers did, but your father and mother had one dumb kid.

"I saw you on MSNBC" is synonymous with "I'm a dumbass."

I hope its Blacks would be more willing to vote on matters of virtue and not race or color in the next election. Its clear that Obama just doesn't have what it takes to be a good president. Is that really true, that Obama just wanted to win thats really selfish. Anyway you don't HAVE to be a black politician to care about Black people. I hope that people who previously voted for Obama will take a good look at the current field of Republican candidates and choose for themselves who will be the right pick. Something I like to do is make sure they aren't lying to you just to get their votes.

I find that Romney is getting donations from some major companies so he's a no. Bachmann supports the TSA. I'll. Pawlenty and Santorum- nothing Special. Hey there's Herman Cain a more authorative and smarter sounding version of Barack. Wait he was once a chairman of the Federal Reserve. Weren't they largely responsible for this fiscal crisis Yeah he's a bummer. So who's left. Oh yeah Ron Paul and Gary Johnson. Paul is a doctor, delivered over 4000 babies. Sounds good. He voted against all the wars, voted against all tax raises that came before, against Congressional Pay Raise. What's that, he explains the problems and explains why his solutions would work and has written 8 books detailing his beliefs, doesn't sound like he's hiding anything to me. That sounds great. Gary Johnson solved the deficit problem while on the job as two-term governor in New Mexico. He solved the defidt on a cost-benefit analysis. He gave Parents the choice of what schools they wanted to send tgheir kids off to. That sounds good to. He feels that these wars are silly as well and left his state with a surplus by the time he left. Those are two guys I can honestly say I trust more than Barack or anybody else in the Republican field.

To say that an entrire group of people will just spend their entire political careers to just tick you is beyond me. Individuals yes but not entire groups. Tea Partiers while there are many different factions. Agree with the limited government that our founding fathers preached, they want their politicians to return to the constitution. That doesn't sound so bad.

And social security is going to be bankrupt. Thats not me saying it. Its the Social Security Administration themselves. Amercians should have more pride and dependence upon themselves and not their own government. Government wastes money. Individuals are smarter than government and you are too. I believe that you can spend your money more wisely than if you had the government spend your money on their behalf regardless of ANY political affiliation. Besides has Obama realy done anything positive besides being the first partly black man to be elected president. I mean honestly you bcan just say he needs more time or Bush really messed up but isn't that like saying its not my fault its his/ I mean Clinton fixed the economy after HW BUsh. Gary Johnson balanced his budget. I don't need excuses from my politicians I want them to explain the problem to me in such a way that I can understand , not play mincemeat magic with his words so I feel nostalgic or certain of what was said for no real reason

Thank you for being smart. I really appreciate that. Your daughter made no excuses and managed to pull herself from a bad situation. What was she studying? I think a good idea regarding higher education is getting involved in a limited approach with college. Getting a trade training seems like a good idea, low cost and you're more likely to earn a job with it. I hope Ron Paul or Gary Johnson wins the Republican nomination. I've done some research on them and am certain these two are no ordinary politicans. THey explain the problem and offer their solutions and explain why they'll work. Sadly, most Presidential candidates don't bother to teach their fellow Americans anything. They just say this is what I'll do so if you agree with that then vote for me. But what are the effects of tat How did this happen, can you be more specific? NO, because I've sold my soul but I'm trying real hard not t show it.

David says:

THe saddest part about it is that there are still some people who think he needs some more time to get things right. WHat!!! iS THIS A JOKE!!! He betrayed you right in front of your eyes on EVERYTHING. The economy, housing prices, the constitution, war, his real name. How gullible must you be. I swear, the only thing holding the country back is our own people. I can tolerate being fooled once but to keep falling for the same tired old dog trick again and again and again. If some people could be a little smarter and realize just because you disagree with Obama doesn't mean that you're racist or a silly Republican or a traitor democrat just look at what he'd done or haven't done for god sakes put two and two together and finally realize tat your dream boy turned out to be a nightmare. Then do your own research instead of looking at charisma for clarity. It just doesn't work that way. You'll thank yourself later when your realize the truth. It might not be easy at first but you'll be gald you did it. I did and am confident that Ron Paul can win this thing if enough people get smarter. If you don't like him fine, thats weird but thats fine at least you put some effort in this time around.

Sure, but you could still vote Republican for a non-republican using the Republican base for recognition. I'm talking about Ron Paul. You'll see that he doesn't sound like a republican he seems more like a human being. Even democrats will start wondering Is he really a democrat or what is he because he doesn't sound like anyone else in this Presidential race.

Don't worry I'm sure young people are at the forefront of fighting for our freedoms. As a 19-year old I honestly want to support myself and want the government to get out of nearly everything from paying for my health care, Social Security, Regulations. THey should only protect us in case of war and only for self-defensive purposes and that should wars should be declared by congressional vote and not the President and the UN or whoever he seeks for approval. I believe that this whole idea of self-dependency really does work and that if everybody who is fully bodied and able to work should do so and that government should get out of business because they're making it hard for young and old americans to do their thing. I hope you vote for Ron Paul because he believes these things too.
