The new CEO of GM makes us a guarantee, essentially extending “Cash for Clunkers.” That guarantee is that if you buy a GM and you don’t like it, then you can bring it back after 60 days. Cool!

Allow me to translate: GM is spending our money to sell our cars back to us. But first, GM is going to lease us cars we already own. The good news is you will have the option to buy it…a second time! See what GM thinks in this statement:

“We’re putting our money down that if people buy one of our vehicles and don’t absolutely love it, we’ll take it back,” Bob Lutz, GM’s vice chairman of marketing, said in a statement. The campaign marks GM’s efforts to rebound after a 39-day, U.S.-steered bankruptcy and a $50 billion federal bailout. GM, which is shedding half of its U.S. brands, will try to rebuild a U.S. market share that has fallen to 19.5 percent this year from a peak of 50.1 percent in 1962.

The plan:

• Covers Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac models for the 2009 and 2010 model years.

• Allows customers to return their cars after 31 days and before 4,000 miles.

• Does not cover leased vehicles.

“Three or four years ago, this would have been a huge risk,” Lutz said during a conference call. “We are now so confident of our vehicles, we can afford to take this risk.”

Risk? I’d say that having $50B in the bank at the expense of the taxpayer helps to mitigate that risk just a bit! Risk is more like what millions of entrepreneurs do every day without government backing, and not having Big Brother there to extort its citizens at their whim.

As for the quality of GM, I’m happy that Ed Whitacre believes GM has made such a dramatic turnaround in only a few months, however I remain a bit skeptical. When I think of the best made automobiles, I’m sorry to say GM isn’t in my top three. I predict that GM will get back a lot of used vehicles after 60 days, and the public will be forced to pay for another group of clunkers in yet another government-subsidized sale.

Oh, and if you think that you will be getting your car “pimped up”, think again. It doesn’t include add-ons, as it says in the guarantee:

“The Satisfaction Guarantee covers the vehicle purchase price and sales tax, but not other add-ons like accessories, negative equity on a trade-in or other fees; other restrictions apply.”

Here’s the wrap:

The previous cash for clunkers propped up the GDP for August, so why not a new approach to fleecing the taxpayer that will help the GDP in the Nov/Dec timeframe. And just in time for the lousy Christmas season inevitably to come.

If this newfound exuberance were private-sector, I would warn the CEO about getting too cocky. Obama doesn’t like anybody into “exceptionalism.” However because GM is now Government Motors, Whitacre might actually be able to pull this off! After all, the Fed is always ready to step in and bail out the UAW with taxpayer money. All it takes is socialist in charge and a Democrat Congress. Now that GM is Government Motors, they are certainly too big to fail!

That’s my rant!

Today, Congressman Russ Carnahan (D) held a press conference at a Ford dealership to showcase “Cash for Clunkers.” I’m not surprised that Carnahan believed that playing the shell game with American taxpayers’ money is a good program, worthy of a press conference.

It’s not enough that the Fed has given over $60B dollars to the GM and Chrysler, because they were “too big to fail.” Guess what? They failed! The Democrats gave them billions more to “transition into bankruptcy.” How do companies apply for that little government benefit…underachieve!

Now the Democrats see the folly of their idea, so they have created a way to disguise the continued funding of the auto industry, and thus the unions. In what today has become a rounding error in the treasury, $1B of our money has gone to a small few. Now Carnahan wanted to explain why he will vote for $2B more. He certainly won’t be asking our opinion of the program. And after the $2B is spent, Carnahan will call a press conference to tell us what our $4B is doing, then $8B, and so on. That’s how the liberals do things…death by a thousand paper cuts.

Don’t think that Carnahan’s selection of a Ford dealer was not contrived. Ford was the only company who didn’t take stimulus money. Had Carnahan held this event at a GM or Chrysler dealership, it would be pretty stupid…giving Americans “cash for clunkers” to buy our OWN cars. We have already paid for thousands of these cars!

$6B would buy 3 MILLION cars at an average cost of $20,000! That’s right, three million families could have FREE cars, and that is just with the investment in the auto-industry this year. That doesn’t include all the previous years, nor does it include the billions given to GM and Chrysler to “transition into bankruptcy.”

Yeah Russ, thanks for selling us on the idea of how you have decided to spend OUR money!

If you like this blog, consider investing in my book, The BIG Black Lie. If you are tired of being called a racist, and want ammunition to give the Left a serious beatdown, my book The BIG Black Lie is your new best friend.

What would you do if you witnessed a rape? Well you just saw another one, and it was performed on Lady Liberty. The mainly Democrat politicians used “carbon” as their phallic tool in torturous violation of the American taxpayer. If you had an inkling that the Democrats (and eight so-called Republicans) care about what you think, you just got your answer: “Just lay there and enjoy it!”

In a 1200 page document—300 pages of which was missing—did not stop the vote. 300 missing pages is just a technicality when you haven’t read the document anyway. So we are left with a new set of regulations that will increase our electricity bills by 90%, perhaps much more some say.

You might wonder why politicians sign bills without reading them, and in blatant disregard for what their constituents want. The answer is they are promised much more than they believe they can get with us. The powers that be can get them better committee seats, more money in their war chests from lobbyists, and so on. And they have seen that Americans have no long-term memories, and simply vote like drones. In short, they know we are suckers of the highest order. In short, they do what they believe will keep them in office.

Politicians have made it clear for some time now—certainly in the past few pieces of legislation—they are NOT afraid of their bosses…us. It doesn’t matter how egregious their behaviors, how inane the ideas, how vile the violation. Politicians, particularly the new administration of thug socialist Democrats believe they can do whatever they want. They remind me of 3rd-world African dictators, for some reason.

Let’s recap a couple of violations of the last five months for The House of Thugs:

We got a $3.6T “stimulus package.” Who would have known what a double entendre that name would be in showcasing what is happening in the molesting of America. At least they pretended that they were offering us foreplay before having their way with us. Why did this abuse need to occur? Because we were in a crisis! America was an uppity bitch—arrogant in fact. She needed to be straightened out. Devalued. Taken down a peg…or ten.

We are hearing rumors that because the first stimulus was not so stimulating, we may get another shagging. I guess Obama wants to drive his point home, so to speak. “America, you will accept the stimulus, and you will enjoy it—whether you want to or not.” – B.H.O.

Next we got the billions of dollars spent to bail out the auto industry. Americans were overwhelmingly against it. We fought it. We said “No!” many times. However to the Obama administration, “No doesn’t mean ‘no’.” So the excuse given for ramming us over and over with “bailouts” was a crisis would occur in the auto industry without bailouts. The auto industry could NOT be allowed to fail. Yet it did. And like the abused wife of a drug-addicted husband, we are left to simply accept the loss of billions of dollars. Any questioning would just garner more abuse.

So we wait, hoping for the occasional respite that comes when our abusive spouse is sated—however that relief may come.

Here’s the wrap:

And it does come. This time America’s rape happens in the form of an eco-tax. Another apology for America’s success and payment for breathing free air all these years. We use more carbon apparently, since we are so prosperous. Despite having only 330 million people, America is supposed to be the world’s biggest polluter, and an environmental terrorist.

219 House congressional traitors bought into the idea that America shouldn’t have been “hanging out at that bar, wearing those clothes. She deserves what she is getting.”

The socialist have been stalking America for some time, lurking in the shadows. They have used and abused America, in hopes of breaking her spirit. They may have gone too far this time, wounded her too deeply. For this time America’s poor will suffer the most, soon to receive much higher electric bills. And when the socialist Democrats start violating the poor, people may actually start reporting the raping of America.

That’s my rant!

See previous blog for an excerpt! I will do something really “cool” for the person who helps me sell the most books!

The industry that was” too big to fail” has ‘one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.’ Today GM announced that they can no longer sucker the American taxpayer to keep the lights on and filed for bankruptcy. Further auto industry news comes as self-appointed Chrysler CEO, Barack Hussein Obama has authorized the fire sale of Chrysler. The War on Achievement wages on. Twenty billion dollars invested in GM during “The New Dark But Not Alan Keyes Dark Ages,” and hardworking American taxpayers don’t even get t-shirts. Rumor is Obama plans on giving GM another fifty billion dollars to help with the bankruptcy…transition. That’s twenty billion less than Chrysler is supposedly got…to transition. Apparently transitioning into bankruptcy is where the money is, during the Era of Brown Underwear.

I can now see how idiotic an idea it would have been to—allow the free market system to deal with GM and Chrysler. I wonder what the outcome would have been had GM and Chrysler been left to their own demise? I’m guessing bankruptcy. It would appear that $100B ain’t what it used to be in propping up poorly run unionized companies. But who are American taxpayers to complain–it’s not our money, it’s Obama‘s! Don’t believe me, then compare you “Date Night” to his.

We can’t have the American taxpayers saving tens of billions of dollars in the Era of Brown Underwear. The chief architect of America’s new bankrupt economy, Obama would have to be twice as smart to be a half wit. Buy high, sell low is the Obama way. And that is exactly what Italian auto-maker Fiat has done. They will get the best part of Chrysler. The Italians always get all the sexy stuff.

The irony is that Fiat had to borrow $1B from GM a few years back—actually they borrowed the money from us—the American taxpayer. You might find it interesting that with Obama’s new budget we could have purchased everything produced in Italy in 2008 [Pricetag: $2.4T], and still have money to burn!

The whole “too big to fail” theory makes Obama the boy who cried wolf. Crisis management is what Rahm Emanuel calls it. To paraphrase the United Negro College Fund commercial: “A [crisis] is a terrible thing to waste.” And so is a presidency.

We are in the era of complete transparency, so they tell me. I believe them—because I can see right through this administration. As with all things involving The Illusionist, The Big Zero—there is more than meets the eye. And what bothers me the most is that the UAW appears to be happy, in fact giddy. You would think that with your industry about to blow up, you would hear more moaning and groaning. But they are not. I think I know why.

In case you are wondering where all those billions are going, I can tell you that one of my best friends who worked at Chrysler visited my home the other day. He had not a care in the world, and in fact had the demeanor of a guy who has the world by the short hairs. Chrysler’s bankruptcy hasn’t affected him in the least. Butter his behind and called him Biscuit—my buddy was on a roll.

During the push-pull on-again-off-again job schedule he had over the past months, he made out like a bandit. He drew 75% of his income from Chrysler, when not working. He had insurance that made up the rest. While not working, he got his hustle going—ironically, working on cars.

He recently got married—on the beach in Florida—leaving the resort to take a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas. He bought her a very nice rock, and a matching necklace. However, his present to his new bride was that he had paid off all his bills—his debt being her chief complaint of him, while he was gainfully employed. When people lose their jobs, there is supposed to be crying and wailing, and uncertainty. But my auto-industry friends for the most part are not sweating what I would consider devastating news.

Here’s the wrap:

Where is the liberal outrage in a 100 year old industry being cannibalized? Michael “Less Is” Moore began his career by demonizing the closing of one GM factory in Flint, MI. His groundbreaking story featured the devastation to a small town when it lost its largest employer. For those of you smart enough not to waste your time watching a Moore “crapumentary,” I will cut to the chase. When a small town loses its largest employer, as my grandfather used to say, “It’s tough on old folks!”

Moore blamed GM for killing this small town, the idea being that GM had a responsibility to continue to lose money manufacturing autos in Flint. For Moore, the closing of that one plant was as if a meteor the size of Texas was headed towards Earth. Yet we don’t hear a peep from him, when the industry is practically destroyed. Let me guess: (1) He may be spending the millions of dollars he has made trumping up pseudo hypocrisies. Or (2) he is too busy feeding his face. Or both. Point: Moore knows when to not pick a fight.

Under ObamaNation, two American industry icons perch at the precipice, looking into the abyss. Unlike Obama reported about the economy, Chrysler and GM are not stepping back, but instead are doing a “louie,” taking the plunge.

Thankfully we have a pseudo-black president, so we don’t have to hear the liberals blame it on some white republican boogeyman. But don’t expect the liberals or media to point out the real boogeyman to us.

That’s my rant!

Obama’s socialist takeover of Chrysler is already having an impact—a negative impact. We get news of over 700+ dealerships to be closed, which translates to around 30,000 jobs lost. Fear not Obamatrons, for the messiah is prepared to “pencil whip” Americans into mathematical submission. 30,000 lost equals a 1,500 gain in ObamaMath.
Need a real life example? A couple of weeks ago job losses were reported at around 600,000. However that same week Obama reported that he had created 150,000 new jobs. Creative math for sure, and not the way most of us learned it. So much for “gubment” school educations.

You may recall that Obama originally planned to “create or save” 2.1M, then 2.5M, then 3M, then 4.1M jobs. It is now back down to 3.1M. I’m not sure if the “current final number” includes the 150,000 that Obama claims have been created thus far. Based on Obama math, he only needs to report creating about 100,000 new jobs to make up for the 4M jobs that will have soon been lost under his watch.

In discovering the real news, “real news” being defined as news the lamestream media doesn’t report, I have only discovered job losses. In fact, jobs “debounded” again this week under Obama’s watch, from 590,000 in the last report, increasing to over 630,000 new unemployment filings to be reported this week. With 6.5M people now unemployed—most post-Obamulus von Porkulus package—perhaps the economy hasn’t quite bottomed out, as reported by Obama News Network.

Dealers are not overjoyed with Chrysler’s new chief executive, as they are getting a Rodney King beatdown. One of the gotchas to the Obama’s takeover of Chrysler is the deposed Chrysler dealers must keep all their inventory. For those of you who don’t understand the real world of “Distribution” or being a distributor, I will explain how it is supposed to work.

When a distributor takes a product from a manufacturer, the distributor usually gets “restocking” rights. This means, they get the opportunity to return inventory that does not sell. Sometimes distributors will trade inventory for “hotter” products, though this is not the case so much in the auto industry, due to high shipping fees. In the auto industry they tend to have end of model year sales or other dealer incentives. In fact, most distributors don’t technically “own” their inventories, until the items are sold.

So how did Chrysler thwart the system?” Bankruptcy. The eventuality Obama said essentially “America could not afford to let happen“—happened. And after it happened, Obama gave Chrysler $6B—to transition into of bankruptcy.

Let’s look at the benefactors of this tragedy that was not supposed to happen.

First, Fiat will get the best part of Chrysler for essentially pennies on the dollar—pennies on our hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

Next, the UAW will benefit. Election paybacks…ok kickbacks. The union got everything it wanted, including part of that $6B to honor their agreements. And they will essentially run the “bad part” of Chrysler, in partnership with Obama. Do I really need to warn you not to buy this stock?

Finally, Obama got everything he wanted—socialized industry.

The dealers however are left to keep all the cars, and all the parts, and have for the most part been put out of business. The American taxpayers get the bill.

Here’s the wrap:

To paraphrase a popular saying, “The ‘big guys’ got the mine, the ‘little guys’ got the shaft.”

If you are a believer in the War on Achievement, then this makes perfect sense. Socialism is the new capitalism in ObamaNation.

Welcome to Bizarro World–where you can have 600,000 verified lost jobs, however the government tells us that they have created or saved 150,000 jobs. That’s ObamaMath.

That’s my rant!

It appears that Obama is now the new CEO of Chrysler having intervened to cut their advertising budget in half. Interesting that a guy who has never had a real job now believes he is capable of running a multi-billion dollar company. I guess when you have the country’s wallet at your disposal, you can make anything work, including running a bankrupt company.
With Fiat buying the best part of Chrysler and the government providing $6B for Chrysler to file bankruptcy, maybe they can make a comeback. Keep in mind fellow extremists and infidels: There is always more of our hard-earned taxes for “Chrysler Bailout – Round Fourteen.”

I find it extraordinary that Obama can find the time to micro-manage a company that is supposed to be in bankruptcy. Perhaps Obama figures it’s best to take over a company that has failed. If the company dies—”no blood, no foul.” If it somehow makes it—then guess who’s a “god?” Like I said earlier, when you control the purse strings, you can keep the patient on life-support indefinitely.

As for Chrysler, they must feel honored. If the CEO of Chrysler is like most CEOs, he has to feel good to be singled out for such prestigious help by the messiah. I guess it’s like Obama said—[pp] “Chrysler is just too big to fail.” Funny—I thought Chrysler did fail?

When you consider all the things that Obama could be doing, the only conclusion I can draw is that Obama has cloned himself. I can’t believe that there just are enough hours in the day to run Chrysler…and the world.

I mean Obama has to have pressing agenda items like addressing the situation with the Koreans, who continue to expand their missile programs. Then there are those pesky al-Qaeda fighters threatening “Pockestan”? These two issues are only about rogue nations and/or terrorists getting their hands on nuclear weapons or fissionable materials. Yet, the messiah is taking time to help Chrysler. In the scheme of things, I’m sure that you all agree with me that the potential nuking of America pales in comparison to managing Chrysler’s marketing budget. “What is ya…ignant?”

I must say, I see the reasoning behind the Obama move to cut the advertising budget of Chrysler. After all, they are been in the news now for weeks—at no cost! Free publicity all over the place.

Then there is the new legislation in Massachusetts whereby the poor can qualify to get free cars. You likely can get the word out on this program by “word of mouf.” I suggest that this legislation is part of the Obama strategy—to provide the proverbial mule to black folks. Test case: Taxachussetts.

Obama is a one-man marketing machine. His takeover of Chrysler allows for a budget cut, as people will be drawn to the company–like moths to a…light that will shine down as a beacon. One good word from the messiah himself, and people will be buying Chryslers in droves. People may not know this but Obama drove a Chrysler 300—it was auctioned off shortly after his election for over $200K—complete with cigarette burns. Should Obama sit his royal butt in all the cars rolling off the production line, who knows what “His Lowness” would be able to raise for the company?

Here’s the wrap:

I suggest other car companies take a serious look at their futures. Remember Obama is a lawyer, and he will be looking for ways to eliminate the competition—as he did in his other elections. So if Obama is running Chrysler, he may just decide to dry up funds to the rest of the auto industry. Given Obama’s modus operandi, I would not be surprised to see a one-car America, and Chrysler will call that vehicle—the Genericus. Though Chrysler will offer only one model, it will be customizable, as described below:

Genericus Pelosius – The front end is stretched so that it never loses that high-gloss sheen, no matter how old it gets

Genericus Clintonius – Has additional headroom and stain-resistant seats

Genericus Frankus – Equipped with additional trunk room…just in case

Genericus Bidenus – Honda brought you the Mo-ped, and in honor of Joe Biden, Chrysler brings you the Stu-ped—nuff said!

And the Chrysler flagship Genericus model is the Obamacus—when you crave a bit of the 70s nostalgia, and prefer a car that smokes—but says it doesn’t

Other models coming soon…

That’s my rant!
