There are a couple of things that historically have been found to be inflation-proof, recession-proof, and depression-proof, and one of those things is beer. It appears however that even nature’s elixir is not Obama-proof!

The fact that InBev, now the largest brewer in the world had flat sales is astounding—a true rarity in historical terms. This is the company that bought Anheuser-Busch…the makers of Bud Light—the most popular beer in America— for goodness sakes! At this rate InBev may all have to change their vats from brewing beer to making Kool-Aid—the Liberals’ intoxicant.

According to this report in AP,

The world’s largest brewer and maker of Budweiser reported Thursday a fourth quarter profit of $1.28 billion, helped by cost cuts and price hikes, but said global beer sales were stagnant and forecast no rebound in 2010.

Economists may point at things like “housing starts”, “exports,” or “durable goods manufacturing” to measure the economic health of America. However, beer sales are a much better indicator, second only to cosmetics!

The report goes on to say,

In the United States, the company’s biggest market, beer volume sales were down 2.1 percent last year — even though revenues grew 0.6 percent.

Sounds suspiciously like the US Treasury…except that part about revenue growing!

You know the economy is bad when people don’t have the money to drink themselves into oblivion. No matter how bad it got in the former Soviet Union, the proletariat could always line up for their Vodka! Could it be Obama teaching us Capitalist a lesson, showing us that the Soviets really did have it better than we? All Americans get from the government is cheese, which I still say is the Fed’s snarky way of laughing at us: “Say CHEESE you taxpaying with no representation knuckleheads!”

No matter. Because at this rate, about all we peasants can expect when the “shcrap” hits the fan will be a few cans of Tsingtao every now and then.

And the outlook remains dismal, at least for the remainder of 2010, as InBev expects flat to sluggish sales throughout 2010. Apparently InBev is not as optimistic about Obama’s ability to create 95,000 new consumers (jobs) each month in 2010. Corporations who like to make profits tend to look at things like “trends.” Perhaps the job loss trend in Jan and Feb was one of the data points considered in InBev’s evaluation of their own situation?

InBev CEO Carlos Brito had this to say:

We continue to be very bullish in the U.S. but recognize that until the economy gets better, we’re going to have some tough years.

Let’s just say what Carlos didn’t, and give a name to these “tough years.” The tough years unquestionably will be deemed “The Obama Years,” which I have dubbed this period The Era of Brown Underwear. I own seven pair.

For the rest of us however, there appears to be no hypnotic potion to make us see this economy for anything but what it is…pathetic.

Considering an administration who gave us “enemy combatants,” “saved or created,” “spend your way out of debt,” “spread the wealth around,” “58 states-‘I have visited 57 states…with still one more left to go,’” “transparency,” “no lobbyists in my administration”, “the most ethical administration,” “posting of legislation on the internet,” and Joe Biden as VP—I think I have made my point—I wouldn’t put too much stock in the Obama administration’s ability to positively affect the American economy over the next three years. Thankfully, that is all the time Obama will get.

Here’s the wrap:

Nothing, repeat nothing is supposed to hurt beer sales! People will dig through sofa cushions and remove car seats to find money for beer. Some people will choose beer before a meal!

So we find ourselves in uncharted territory, alcoholically speaking. And given America’s problems, sobriety and society are real risk!

We have the highest unemployment since the Carter era, with no real potential for long-term job growth, and we have deficits and deficit spending that nobody would have envisioned even as short as a decade ago. Lipstick or not, we are still looking at a pig of an economy, not something you want to face sober, necessarily. All because we let a man with the intellect of a seventeen year old high-school dropout run America.

If we are lucky, next time we get together maybe we can split a beer?!

That’s my rant!

You know something’s up when the guy who gave the State of the Union address during “the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression” won’t take credit for the biggest economic growth since 2003! And though the economy grew at 5.7%, Obama cautions against celebration!

Given the state of the economy over the past year, you’d think Obama would be running naked across the White House grounds to draw attention to this. Finally something he doesn’t have to blame on Bush!

And surely the state-run media would willingly blow Obama’s horn for him—pardon the double entendre.

Yet Obama is amazingly quiet on this great news, and I predict you can expect him to remain amazingly quiet on this issue—as will the media!

Neither will trumpet this amazing news, outside of offering a few references here and there? It’s because like Obama’s promise of hope, this news delivers nothing but false hope.

Truth be told by Obama, very few jobs have been created, and no private sector jobs have been saved. The rate of unemployment has slowed, but that’s natural when you have lost as many jobs as we have over the past year, now over 3M.

Corporations have long since cut the fat, and most have even cut muscle. All that’s left are internal organs. If Obama keeps “stimulating” the economy, some companies will have to start selling kidneys on eBay.

In his first State of the Union address, Obama mentioned the creation of around 2000 new jobs, meanwhile the most recent jobs report showed a loss of 482,000 more jobs—a perfect example of Liberal math! One would think that the man, who has introduced trillion to the American lexicon when it comes to spending, could at the very least get beyond four digits when it comes to job creation!

America’s unqualified neophyte has learned a difficult lesson in his first year as POTUS, now that he has left world of “Lalaland.” The hard lesson—obviously not taught at Harvard—is that government doesn’t create jobs. Government confiscates productivity and redistributes it…badly.

Obama finally has to come to grips with the fallacy of his economic policies and the realization that they simply do NOT work. He knows his policies will not create or save jobs, which is why the White House dropped “created or saved” from their lexicon—nobody was buying that line of Pelosi anyway.

Economic analysts say that the anomaly felt by the economy is companies’ restocking inventories. This is because companies are no longer stocking inventories, and are doing much more “build to order.”

Even with that, delivery dates are slipping, because the manufacturers are producing less on the front end. In short, we are going back to the way business was done in the ‘70’s…yep, the Carter years!

Occasionally companies will increase their order volumes to make up for the surge, and that is what just happened. I figure it’s a likely recovery from the Christmas season, where retailer took a justified pessimistic approach to stock levels.

Further, the shell game that was played in the housing market, extension of welfare, and artificial monies injected into “shovel ready projects” all contributed. Unfortunately for Obama, all his get-well ideas were little more than a band-aid on a bullet hole, and Bush didn’t do the shooting.

Here’s the wrap:

Obama has no real plan to reduce unemployment, at least one that will sustain itself, and he is panicked—as he should be. He can create “temp” jobs through confiscation and redistribution, but there are too many other factors that won’t allow him to be successful with his present course of action.

He did get lucky that the census is here, or can you imagine what the unemployment figures would be? The impact of taking 1.4M jobs—though temp—out of this economy would be devastating.

CEOs are too concerned about the future to hire. Obama can offer small businesses incentives, unfortunately they have few clients in an economy with over 17% real unemployment. Jobs with staying power are shifting offshore or are already there.

America’s economy is shrinking considerably, thus our clout slips every day. At one point America was 60% of the world’s economy, and I predict that another year of Obama that figure will slip to well under 50%. By the end of his term, our economy could be as little as 40% of the world economy.

The world recognizes America’s financial weakness and leadership void, so expect countries like China, India, and Russia to press hard. They are all modeled after pre-Obama America.

Expect Obama to flirt with Conservatism, sort of a “you show me yours, I’ll show you mine” strategy. However he has nothing to show. Obama is a fiscal eunuch, who depends solely on the government to shore up his shortcomings. And expect him to “reach across the aisle” in search of a Republican scapegoat.

Obama will remain uncharacteristically level about this news, and will act as if he is above gloating. But Obama knows that his good news will be short-lived, and the reality of the economy will be slapping him in the face very shortly, and he won’t react until he has found his Republican scapegoat…a sucker!

That’s my rant!

December 7 is a day that will live again in infamy. However this time America is not being attacked by enemies foreign, but by enemies domestic. On this day in 2009, three Navy SEALs will go on trial for doing their duty for America. What a difference a decade makes.

The SEALs were tasked with capturing Ahmed Hashim Abed, the terrorist responsible for the torture and murder of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. As Fox News reported,

The four Blackwater agents were transporting supplies for a catering company when they were ambushed and killed by gunfire and grenades. Insurgents burned the bodies and dragged them through the city. They hanged two of the bodies on a bridge over the Euphrates River for the world press to photograph.

This obvious provocation by Blackwater of transporting supplies created the stir that got Abed atop the “Most Wanted Manmade Disaster” list. As you can see, all this was Blackwater’s fault!

Regardless, the SEALs did their job. They captured Abed. And when they brought him in, Abed said that he had been punched…in the gut. And he had the fat lip to prove it. Now I know SEALs are tough, but that must have been one heck of a “gut punch” to make his lip swell. I’m no attorney, but I think I could get these SEALs off on this technicality alone.

Shameless Plug: Consider buying my book The BIG Black Lie and get others to consider it as well. It is an Amazon best-seller and the only 5-star political book on Amazon!

The charges facing the SEALs are as follows:

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.

So let’s recap. Three Navy SEALs were tasked with capturing a bona fide terrorist who had undoubtedly kidnapped and executed four Americans, mutilated their bodies, then hanged two of them from a bridge in Iraq. And the terrorist complains of unsubstantiated “harsh treatment” because…he has a fat lip! Do you think terrorists read the Liberals’ playbook?

Now if this were a civilian situation, I might not have to ask this next question. However since the military is responsible for this, I’d like to know the person(s) who brought these SEALs up on charges, so I could…punch him in the gut! Then I’d kick him in the naughty bits, sans cup, AND finally I’d punch him in the lip…until it was fat!

What kind of nation have we become when our citizens can be mutilated and hanged, and our fighting men are then prosecuted for doing their jobs, by bringing the culprit to justice…fat lip be damned? I bet you can find many people in America would say that Abed got off pretty easily, if all he got was a punch in the gut! Believe me when I tell you from first-hand experience that you would need only an infinitesimal fraction of a SEAL to take care of ten Abeds.

Here’s the wrap:

Neal Puckett, attorney for McCabe has captured the next steps in this psychodrama in his comment:

“I don’t know how they’re going to bring this detainee to the United States and give us our constitutional right to confrontation in the courtroom,” Puckett said. “But again, we have terrorists getting their constitutional rights in New York City, but I suspect that they’re going to deny these SEALs their right to confrontation in a military courtroom in Virginia.”

And as part of ObamaNation’s “embarrass the US military” and “divide and conquer America” strategy, the plan is to use three other SEALs (two of them officers!) to testify against the other three SEALs, all of whom are enlisted men. And what can we expect these THREE other SEALs possibly add to this discussion? That perhaps one of the SEALs in question did indeed punch the detainee…in the gut!

Will there be an investigation as to “why” Abed was punched in the gut. Maybe Abed was badmouthing Protestantism or Catholicism? Certainly according to Islam, you can’t say anything bad about that religion. Or maybe it was because he had burned and killed four Americans sent to help Iraq, then hung two of them from a bridge?

At this point, why don’t we just decommission the military and let the Girl Scouts take over? Oh that’s right we already did that—when Obama was sworn in!

For the Liberals who voted for Obama thinking he could influence the world, you just got publicly punked by the IOC. They showed what the sane among us already knew, and that is Obama is not the god the Liberals all believe him to be. If you still believe he is a god, then I contend he is as ineffectual as a god, as he is a president.

In a move you would think was choreographed by the vast right-wing conspiracy—if it existed—Obama and Team Chicago couldn’t even get past the first round in consideration for the Olympics! There were cities that didn’t spend a dime pursuing the Olympics and finished right where Chicago did.

When I saw how Chicago reacted to this loss, the abject disappointment, as it was announced that they were the #1 loser, I thought to myself, “This is one big event too late.” This is what they were supposed to feel like when Obama lost the nomination as the Liberals’ candidate for POTUS. Didn’t happen. So when Team Obama lost this for Chicago, I felt like white people did when OJ recently convicted—“We finally got him!”

You would think that with all the “Os” in attendance, Chicago would have been a foregone conclusion to host the 2016 Olympics—just in time for Obama’s 3rd term in office. If I was a god, that’s how I would have scripted it. But it was not to be…because Obama is no god!

How do you spin getting such a beatdown? Burris is blaming Bush! After all, Obama “inherited this mess!” This might have worked if Obama hadn’t made ten apology tours! Notwithstanding, we were told that the mere election of Obama was enough for the world to love us.

Obama talking heads are saying that Obama was in Copenhagen as a stopover for his trip to Afghanistan! It all sounds pretty ridiculous. There isn’t enough spin to spin your way out of this public flogging of Team Obama.

Chicago sent its most famous mulatto son, Barack, its most famous black daughter, Oprah, and its most famous black militant, Michelle to represent them in this bid. In the eyes of Liberal America and supposedly the world, it just doesn’t get any bigger than that. The Unholy Trinity! They represented the best of the best Liberals of Chicago. Chicago could have saved themselves a lot of embarrassment and money just sending three gang bangers on vacation to Copenhagen to represent Chicago. It would have been just as representative and had the same outcome.

Ironically, the Liberals who want “everybody to get a trophy” learned a hard lesson: There is a loser and Obama is it. I got a chance to interview the Mayor of Rio, and he simply said to me, “I won!” Touché!

There was one Liberal who had a great day as Obama’s failures were illuminated, and that is Hillary Clinton. She was actually giddy the day Chicago died, because she got a “two-fer.” Hillary got to actually play president that day, discussing Afghanistan and Pakistan, while Obama played marbles in Copenhagen. Hillary felt rather presidential, while Obama looked much like the neophyte that he is. Clinton chuckled as she watched Obama navigate the mine field. It’s safe to say that he blew off a leg this week! Clinton’s happiness over recent developments in the Obama camp is exceeded only by the ineffective Michael Steele’s. Obama is making things easy for both of them.

Here’s the wrap:

The idea that a sitting president would find it necessary to make the Olympics an issue, dare I say a “crisis,” just shows you the level of desperation Obama has for avoiding the real issues plaguing America. But with the distraction of this major issue of getting the Olympics for Chicago out of the way, what is a “play-president” to do? He will likely appoint a Distraction Czar!

Perhaps the Distraction Czar will have Obama weigh in on the Letterman crisis, maybe set up another BeefFest? The Letterman Controversy certainly supersedes things like the rising unemployment rate, now almost 10%–a ratio the stimulus package was supposed to prevent. To quote Obama, “That’s what a stimulus does!” There is also that backburner Iranian nuclear issue. Obama sees Iran as “little!” “Little” like Bruce Lee, unfortunately. And finally, there is the butt-kicking the US is getting in Afghanistan—the war the Liberals said was worth fighting. It appears to be worth fighting, just not be worth winning?

As Obama said of ACORN, “[sic] These are not things I follow closely.”

The good thing is the real God can manage all these things. It appears God has a sense of humor, as He delivers Chuck Norris roundhouses to Obama well-earred noggin. Maybe this was God’s plan for America—to get them to remember who is really in charge.

That’s my rant!

The movie Cool Hand Luke may provides one of the best metaphors for Obama’s pathology, and his current feverish attempts at selling DeathCare to America. His speech to Congress reminded me of what the Captain of Road Prison 36 said to the new prisoners:

“You run one time, you got yourself a set of chains. You run twice you got yourself two sets. You ain’t gonna need no third set, ’cause you gonna get your mind right.”

If that is not a great reference to ObamaCare, then I just don’t know what is. Hopefully we are able to get Obama’s mind right?

Obama reminds me of the main character Luke Jackson played by Paul Newman. Luke is a rebel bringing “hope and change” to the prison chain gang. Luke, like Obama, just doesn’t know when to give up, like when Luke wrankles the prison’s toughest inmate, Dragline, portrayed by George Kennedy.

The two inmates battle it out in the prison yard, in what is not much of a fight. Dragline beats the crap out of Luke, knocking him down repeatedly.

Dragline: Stay down. You’re beat.

Luke: You’re gonna hafta kill me…
[struggles back to his feet]

The scene repeats until finally Dragline just walks away, tired of beating a senseless Luke. How many times does healthcare need to be defeated for Obama to understand that he’s beaten? Perhaps he expect us to just walk away?

The main backdrop of the movie is Luke’s need to change the status quo. He is in prison, however he doesn’t want what prison represents for prisoners—normality. For Obama the normality of America, our traditions and ideals need to be changed. He has his vision of America, that he feels supersedes what America has represented until now.

For Luke this means escape. Despite the Captain’s warning, he does just that. He is quickly caught, and life in the camp begins anew, just more difficult for Luke.

Boss Paul: That ditch is Boss Kean’s ditch. And I told him that dirt in it’s your dirt. What’s your dirt doin’ in his ditch?

Luke: I don’t know, Boss.

Boss Paul: You better get in there and get it out, boy.

Obama has to be feeling much the same. His job approval ratings dropping, so he gains more resolve. But the job just keeps getting tougher. At this rate, Obama will need a backhoe to get all his dirt out of Boss’ hole.

If you wonder sometimes how Obama comes up with his policies, then this scene where Luke eats fifty hard boiled eggs may explain it best:

Dragline: Why you got to go and say fifty eggs for? Why not thirty-five or thirty-nine?

Luke: I thought it was a nice round number.

Obama, like Luke seems to create fires where there are none. I believe this is based on his idea that being busy equates to accomplishing something. This might explain why as state and US Senator, Obama sponsored or co-sponsored over 1600 pieces of legislation and passed less than five.

Luke toes the line for a little while, but eventually the urge to escape hits him and he’s off again. He sends pictures of himself having a blast, and the inmates live vicariously through him. Luke is ultimately recaptured. He realizes his fate; that he will be in that prison camp for the rest of his life.

The inmates crowd around their champion, waiting, wondering, wanting. They ask Luke about the picture he sent with the girl, and Luke reveals that the picture was a fake. The inmates don’t want to believe it. They need to believe in Luke. They continue pestering him, wanting Luke to “say it ain’t so.” Luke becomes fed up, finally saying:

Luke: Oh come on. Stop beatin’ it. Get out there yourself. Stop feedin’ off me. Get out of here. I can’t breathe. Give me some air.

Here’s the wrap:

If you want to capture the core of the Obama administration, recall the scene where Luke wins a game of poker in a bluff:

Dragline: Nothin’. A handful of nothin’. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin’. Just like today when he kept comin’ back at me – with nothin’.

Luke: Yeah, well, sometimes nothin’ can be a real cool hand.

Though an engaging character, in the end Luke brought nothing new to the prison, except empty dreams. No real hope and change, just the vision of such that each prisoner needed. A brief break from the push and the shove of regular life.

Obama might be one Cool Hand Luke…

That’s my rant!

What are all these taxpayer citizens attending the Townhall meetings so upset about anyway? The government doesn’t want to take over healthcare, despite Obama’s comments while campaigning:

What are all these taxpaying citizens attending the Townhall meetings so upset about anyway? The government doesn’t want to take over healthcare, despite Obama’s comments while campaigning:

“…won’t be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately…” or “I happen to be a proponent of single-payer healthcare coverage. That’s what I’d like to see.”

Who are you going to believe, Obama or your lyin’ eyes?!

If you do believe your lyin’ eyes and are voicing your concerns, then you are an extremist, who is now part of a mob…a mobster!

According to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D), the swastika-wearing mobsters are financed by the insurance industry! The new “boogeyman of the moment.” I verified that “Racism” is on vacation this week, thus unavailable to be the boogeyman.

The financing from insurance companies is paying off, because mobsters are donning Brooks Brothers at these protests. In fact, the mobsters are so well-dressed that they garnered the attention of Barbara Boxer. Boxer apparently is not used to mobsters in her hood being so dapper, and dare this Negro say…so uppity.

Mobs looking like working middle-class Americans?! Outrageous! Couldn’t the insurance company executives hire mobsters that look like the Democrats’ shills–scurrilous and unkempt, the true unwashed?! Apparently not, as ACORN was already under an exclusive contract with the DNC. So those ruthless insurance execs were forced to get middle-class Americans led mostly by conservatives! The good news is that under Obama there were many conservative middle-class Americans available due to massive job losses created by his policies.

You didn’t hear it here, but I learned that without making a single phone call or paying a single dime, those insurance executive devils got those conservative idiots to protest for FREE! Recall how sneaky they were in getting billions of dollars from the Democrats when ObamaNation came on the scene to deal with the financial and insurance “crises.” Those insurance execs are GOOOOOD!

Still, why all the consternation by mobsters about the government providing healthcare? Healthcare reform is FOR the people! It is part of what a socialist government does—provide for the people. The small, elite few providing for the minions, the masses, the mobsters! Is there a reason for concern by the mobsters?

According to the 2009 Social Security and Medicare Trustees Report, in 2016Social Security will begin paying out more than it takes in. I will publicly test my psychic abilities and predict that in order to address the social security shortfall, the Democrats will…raise the minimum age when people can begin collecting social security!

Not convinced that I have “the gift?” Ok, here’s is another prediction that I am sure will convince you of my paranormal prowess. I predict that along with rasing the minimum age you can begin receiving social security benefits, the government will also raise the social security tax! Note that there is no mandated cap on either of these two variables. Surprise!

As you can see the government has a fix for social security, so maybe the mobsters are concerned by what is happening in another government run program, this one directly related to healthcare—Medicare. AARP references this report from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette:

“WASHINGTON — The financial future of the Social Security and Medicare programs continues to deteriorate, with both headed for insolvency sooner than previously projected, according to a report released Tuesday..”

The recession is speeding up the timetable under which each program would run out of money…for Medicare, the bank account will be empty in just eight years

So what Medicare is technically broke? As Biden said, [pp] “Let’s just spend our way out of debt!” The mobsters are just alarmists, stirring up trouble at these Townhalls, because the government always finds a way. Medical service is as dependable as the US mail. Really?!

Then it will come as no surprise to any of us the fate befalling the USPS, as reported by Reuters:

“WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) – The U.S. Postal Service reported a quarterly net loss of $2.4 billion on Wednesday, blaming the recession for a drop in mail volume and saying it may need to cut mail delivery to five days a week from six..”

The agency, which delivers nearly half the world’s mail, said it could face a year-end cash shortfall of up to $700 million despite aggressive actions to cut costs.

It has reported net losses in 11 of the last 12 quarters.

Mail volume dropped 14.3 percent to 41.6 billion pieces in the fiscal third quarter to June 30 compared with a year earlier.

The agency has struggled with falling mail volumes for years due to the increased use of email and competition from Fedex (FDX.N), United Parcel Service (UPS.N) and other delivery services

Here’s the wrap:

The post office’s solution to deal with the shortfall…cut back services. No sense evaluting the business. It’s only taxpayer money, i.e. plenty more where that came from. With this government business logic, let’s just deliver mail once day a week. I bet profits will rise sharply.

And while we are at it, let’s just raise the minimum social security age to 80. I bet that will stretch out the “date of demise” for at least another decade! Isn’t that what it’s about. Putting the problem further and further into the future, until our great-great grand children have NO chance at the American Dream?

The government runs no program efficiently and even fewer effectively. Nationalizing healthcare is about controlling a huge amount of money. Healthcare is another manipulatable system, and one where the government will have even more power over life and death.

The mobsters are protesting government wanting to spend trillions of our dollars on yet another boondoggle. Oh, and we don’t like having to get sick only during the week, before 3P, and not on weekends.

That’s my rant!

Check it out on my website, or see the reviews at Amazon! You might miss me, when I’m gone!

Pot smoking prostitutes, pimps, drug peddlers, and other perps may soon be in heaven. There is a possibility that they can deal, toke and have sex in the streets to their heart’s delight…as long as they partner with the California government!

Along with the potential to legalize marijuana, California is also reconsidering an initiative that arose in 2008 to legalize and thus tax prostitution. The world’s oldest profession is reintroduced to the world’s second oldest profession…government!

If private citizens were to do what the government is proposing, they would be called drug dealers, pimps, and prostitutes and carted off to jail—along with the people they “service.” However, when you are dealing with the government you get the new definition for the vices of drug dealing, prostitution, and pimping: Pharmaceutical sales, Sex Therapy, and Sex Therapy Management. All for the sake of “revenue enhancement.”

I’m sure all the pimps, prostitutes, and drug dealers in America are happy to know that their professions carry new more distinguished titles. These former outlaw professions are now considered noble enough for the government to not only sanction, but to participate in them.

According to this article in SDNN, prostitutes are actually happy about this. They will be able to stand on street corners and peddle their wares unabashed, unmolested…at least by the cops. Pimps don’t seem too up in arms, though there is a new potential middleman extorting a piece of the profits. I checked with a pimp acquaintance of mine, and he calculates that he will actually save money, since he will no longer have to “buy” his girls out of jail. He will also avoid the “fees” to stay operational under the police radar. So essentially the pimps have a pimp! And there is no pimp like a government pimp!

Drug dealers are not as upset at the potential loss of revenue from marijuana, as one might think. In my discussions with various naer-do-wells, they say that this new legislation, if passed will likely pave the way for legalization of their “more popular inventory.” I further learned from my contacts that this new move will allow drug dealers to become more focused.

Moving marijuana apparently is like shipping toilet paper—a lot of bulk for small profit [relative to other drugs]. The same load of black tar heroin, for example would be worth hundreds of times more. A shipment of cocaine of the same size can be cut and made into crack, again with exponential profit potential over marijuana. Crank requires no shipping, just local labs. So in short, the drug dealers see it as a positive that the government has expanded their position in the Pharmaceutical industry, as they feel this has the potential of opening Pandora’s Box.

And let’s not forget that Obama can take credit for the jobs created! It’s a win all around, at least how liberals define “win.”

What would it take for California to actually look at spending, and decide that they need to cut expenses? If two private citizens came to the conclusion that they have to resort to drug dealing, pimping, and prostitution, somebody would likely have an intervention with them. “Bill and Susan you don’t need ten flat screen TVs in a two-bedroom home!”

Here’s the wrap:

California refuses to tell its citizens that the state must tighten its belt, and instead chooses to enter the prostitution and drug dealing business. Why bother considering their policy towards illegal aliens being on the taxpayer dole, limiting welfare or other entitlements? No sense panicking lazy liberal voters that they may lose some of their benefits. Why should people getting government housing, food stamps, and checks go without their 52” flat-screen TVs, and Playstations?

Further, California shouldn’t be forced to limit the growth of government, or worse yet, stop taxing people and businesses into oblivion! Who do you think you are, Reagan!

In this proposed legislation, California demonstrates the level of depravity that liberals are willing to go to promote a socialist agenda. Never say die, even when you make pimps, prostitutes and perps out of your citizens. Anybody think that California is considering the message this is sending to its youngsters? In fact they are! As the article says, “‘It’s safer having sex with a girl at the brothel than a girl from your church.’” Who knew church was a bigger cesspool than inner city back alleys and brothels? At least we now know where to go for salvation. No, the government, stupid!

That’s my rant!

You have to admire the insane genius of RINOs. I am referring to the logic of New York Mayor Bloomberg deciding to give homeless New Yorkers a one-way ticket out of The Big Apple.

Apparently it costs about $36,000 per homeless person for shelter, and $1000 a week overall for the city to fund a homeless person. $52,000 a year! So offering the homeless one-way “vacations” provides a sound financial compromise, according to Bloomberg. Let’s ship our problems to other states…or countries!

Here is an excerpt from The Globe article:

“Since 2007, the city has quietly arranged airfare or bus tickets – one-way – for 550 homeless families. They have been sent as far away as India, Russia and Peru, although the bulk have been dispatched southward, to Florida and Puerto Rico…”

“Hey Honey, round up the younguns! I’m finally gonna take the family to Puerto Rico…pack EVERYTHING!”

If only other states and countries would provide reciprocation, we could have a world-wide timeshare arrangement for the homeless?! This would work even better if Bloomberg would just provide a fraction of that $52,000 as pocket change for the New York expatriates.

Based on 2003 data from the World Bank, the average per capita income for these vacation destinations is as follows:

India – $2,880

Russian Federation – $8,920

Peru – $5,090

Puerto Rico – $16,320

Those figures are a far cry from the $52 grand it costs New York. It may surprise you to learn that what it costs for NY to pay for its poor would be on a per capita basis (2003) the second highest income in the world–second only to Luxembourg! No wonder people are immigrating to the United States.

There are 132 countries whose average per capita incomes are less than $10,000 a year, and amongst those 46 of them have per capita incomes less than $2,000 a year. How do you think they would view America’s “poor?” Nowadays, immigrants come to America to get rich—on welfare! And why not, when you can live for free, then get a paid vacation to Peru or Russia to boot? Or how about sunny Florida?

Because you don’t have to leave the US to see what $52,000 can get you. The average US per capita income was $37,500 in 2003. So if NYC were to just send their homeless to other states, along with $37,500, they could still save an average of $15K per person.

For the average homeless family of four in NYC, there is essentially $208,000 in your spending account. According to the Administration for Children and Families report, that level of income would be more than twice that of any other US state median income for a family of four ($70,354), with the highest being New Jersey ($94,441).

Here’s the wrap:

If you need more evidence of the War on Achievement – Era of Brown Underwear, then you’re as sharp as a cafeteria meatball. The homeless in New York theoretically live better than ALL the world, except Luxembourg, and better than ALL other Americans, excepting none. So if it cost $52,000 to be homeless in NY City, imagine what it cost to not to be homeless there?!

Democrats run cities into bankruptcy, and so do RINOs. They create poverty, disguised as redistribution. As for the novel idea of redistributing a city’s homeless to other locations to save money, I’m just surprised that big cities in California or Massachusetts didn’t think of it first.

If they keep these kinds of ideas coming, don’t be surprised if these Democrat strongholds get the bright idea that freeing prisoners will save tax dollars?

Blue state homeless and released convicts…coming to a city near you!

We have it on video–Obama finally gets tough. A watershed moment for Obama akin to the Cuban Missile Crisis. What did Obama do? He killed a fly! And lucky for America, the lamestream media was there to document Obama’s act of bravery.

Just when I was questioning his decision not to allow harsh interrogation, and Obama goes the distance. He also made sure that the taxpayers would not have to deal with the enemy combatant. Obama was both judge and jury. Now America is safer for it.

Let’s face it—Obama blew it with the Somali pirates. It was ultimately a Navy Captain who made the executive decision to kill those four Somali pirates. And he likely sat in his ship for those couple of days wondering what the delay was in making the decision. Nevertheless he was gracious enough to allow his Coward in Chief to get the credit. That brave Captain must have known that Obama would come into his own, and show the resolve that built this once great nation. Could we be rebounding from the punking of America occurring to date? I say, “Yes!”

The question that begs to be asked is “How did that fly got that close to POTUS?!” Surely heads should roll within the Secret Service. The potential damage that could have been done to Obama, to America—perish the thought. If only I had seen it for myself, I could be saying, “I was doing [blank], when Obama swatted the fly!” A second chance at history.

Admittedly, my self-imposed media blackout of Obama meant that I could not witness his heroism first-hand. Nevertheless, once I caught wind of the story, I immediately thought of another Democrat who took a situation by the horns–one John F. Kerry–and the heroism he showed in Vietnam, receiving three Purple Hearts…for writing glowing reports of his bravery in combat. Much like Kerry, Obama too showed courage under fire.

According to Google, here’s how it all went down:

“During an interview for CNBC at the White House on Tuesday, a fly intruded on Obama’s conversation with correspondent John Harwood.

“Get out of here,” the president told the pesky insect. When it didn’t, he waited for the fly to settle, put his hand up and then smacked it dead.

“Now, where were we?” Obama asked Harwood. Then he added: “That was pretty impressive, wasn’t it? I got the sucker.””

I assure any doubters that the fly is dead. I saw it on camera for myself. You just can’t fake that. So the crisis is over…maybe.

Who knows what the real story behind the story will be. Did the fly act alone? Are there “cells” of flies out there waiting to get retribution for the harsh treatment of their fellow fly friend. I predict that it will be determined that the fly was Muslim.

Despite Obama’s popularity among Muslims, the US may have hell to pay, should flies start leaving dirty bombs around. The potential for germ warfare is a distinct possibility. And what are we to think when we get the occasional fly on our airplanes when traveling? Flies are difficult to profile…they all look alike.

In analyzing Obama’s comments, I must say that he seemed pretty excited to have accomplished something. “…impressive, wasn’t it?” he bragged. He didn’t wait for us to acknowledge that he had actually accomplished something. He was so bold to make sure that we knew it. Now that my friends is leadership!

Here’s the wrap:

The fly had been warned. Recall Obama said to the fly, “Get out of here.” And when the fly didn’t leave, Obama laid down the law. He had no choice. Obama gave the fly more than his normal harsh words. Outcome: Obama – 1, Fly – 0!

However, in what will likely have the fly lobby up in arms, Obama referred to the fly as “sucker.” That will likely cost him some votes, but Obama stands at the ready with ACORN to offset the fly vote.

I must say that I now take comfort in Obama’s ability to handle rogue dictators and aggressive nations. I believe that Operation Fly Kill was meant to be a warning to Iran, North Korea, Russia, the world that Obama is a man of action, not just words, and he is not to be trifled with. That fly was a metaphor that Obama will indeed kill something, and he can act quickly and decisively.

Just when many of us were beginning to feel that the media are nothing more than lapdogs for Obama, they bring us hard-hitting news like this. Potential crisis averted—documented, on the record. Without the media, we might never have known how brave Obama was in thwarting an attack…from a fly!

That’s my rant!

AP reported that we lost “just” 345,000 jobs in May. If you were one of the people who lost one of those jobs, I suggest that you might not be taking it quite so cavalierly?

I get a chuckle from the lamestream media when they spin the idea of losing 345,000. Well it is a lot less than the 504,000 the previous month! Put on a happy face, dangit! We are learning to measure quite differently in The Era of Brown Underwear.

One can only imagine what the headlines would be if we were in a Bush administration. What’s that, Chicken Little?

Do you really need more evidence about the snakelike nature of Obama, when he gives us the term “saved,” as part of job “creation?” Talk about a slickster selling elixir! He pisses on us, then tells us it’s raining.

I was under the mistaken idea that adding jobs was good news, not losing jobs. However, in the lexicon of Obama, “save” is the new “add!” And in the lamestream media, a loss is really a win!

504,000 jobs losses in April, 345,000 jobs losses in May, unemployment at 9.4% (they said it would top off at 8%), over 6,000,000 Americans out of work—2.9M of those jobs this year!—and here is what Obama said in Reuters:

“…it[stimulus] created or saved 150,000 in the first 100 days. Republicans questioned the figure and noted that Biden said on May 13 over 150,000 jobs had been saved or created in the act’s first 77 days.”

Don’t let the truth be a deterrent to Obama’s agenda. Obama believes that if he keeps saying it, eventually people will believe it. Unemployment has risen from 6% under Bush to over 9.4% under Obama, but he has “saved” jobs! Incredulous— “Change we can be brainwashed to believe in.”

I’ve stopped asking when Americans who voted for Obama will either wake up from their comas or get back on the meds. It has simply become a rhetorical question and quite redundant. However it is high time that those of us who were never entranced by Obama’s “words” start really calling him out more vigorously on his blatant lying.

But there is good news coming, as report by the Wall Street Journal put it, and I must say I had blogged about this earlier as well:

“[Obama] announced he was ramping up some of the stimulus spending so he could “save or create” an additional 600,000 jobs this summer. These numbers come in the context of an earlier Obama promise that his recovery plan will “save or create three to four million jobs over the next two years.”

At this rate, between creating and saving jobs, we will have all of America working, as well as our illegals, and finally reached what Marx described as Utopia—also known as communism. Because folks at this rate of job “saving,” there will be no private sector jobs left to save.

Here the wrap:

Isn’t every job ‘not lost’ technically saved? That being the case, I suggest we begin working backwards on ObamaMath.

To do this we chronicle all the jobs that are presently “saved,” which are all the jobs in America. Then as the job numbers are reported, we count those that Obama has “unsaved.”

For example in March, Obama would have saved 40,000,000 jobs, of which 504,000 of them became “unsaved” in April. Then another 345,000 became unsaved in May, and so on.

By my count, Obama has “unsaved” 2.9M jobs, since he took over. This way, all of us who have jobs left will know who to thank. The better question may be how Americans will not want to thank The Big Zero. Best guess is 9.4% of Americans and counting.

That’s my rant!
