Today we celebrate our nation’s independence, yet many Americans see today as just a day to have a picnic. Who can blame them, when you consider what they unlearned about this day because of the Left. With 47% of Americans getting some funding from the government’s confiscation of our tax dollars, aren’t we really celebrating IN Dependence Day?
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon’s veto of the Republican sponsored photo ID bill is another Democrat slap in the face to law-abiding, taxpaying citizens of Missouri and proves that Nixon could care less about protecting the rights of Missouri citizens. The truth is Nixon is about empowering criminals and getting more illegal votes.
Father’s Day reminds me of how much I so appreciated those children who adored their biological fathers. It also makes me happy that I have fathered four sons, all of whom make me proud. I won’t say that I’m a Cosby dad, but I am proud of how my sons have turned out. I know my biological father was proud of me too. Unfortunately the feeling wasn’t mutual.

In the movie The Hunt for Red October, CIA analyst Jack Ryan, (played by Alec Baldwin) is on a U.S. Navy submarine that has tracked the Russian’s silent propulsion first-strike nuclear sub, the Red October, commanded by Marko Ramius. Ramius intends to turn the vessel over to the U.S., then defect. He is being relentlessly pursued by the Russian navy, which he has managed to avoid for the most part. Ryan ponders how Ramius will get the Russian naval crew to go along with the ruse to abandon the sub, and thinks to himself, “’Russians don’t take a dump son, without a plan.’ …How do you get a crew to willingly evacuate a nuclear sub?” Ask yourself, “How do you get 330M Americans to accept millions of illegal Mexicans to become citizens of the United States?” You create a crisis.
