Apparently the very real threat of death from the Left is not newsworthy. I’m not talking about the death threats by unions to Governor Walker, who is battling to save Wisconsin from financial ruin. Nor am I talking about the numerous death threats that Governor Christie gets from the union thugs in NJ, as he battles for education reform.
On MLK’s birthday, Fox News featured Jim Clyburn who took the opportunity to tell America that Dr. King would have wanted nationalized healthcare. Healthcare is now about "civil rights." I guess doctors and hospitals are the new racists, because the only person who can deny you healthcare, at least for now, is a healthcare giver.
Ordinarily, a president—even when their party has a monopoly in DC—is merely a mascot and figurehead for their administration. Presidents can set the agenda and direct the political atmosphere, but their authority is kept reined in by the checks and balances set by the Constitution. If there’s one thing that Constitutional scholars are good at, it’s finding ways around it.
If you don’t have enough proof that a black voice of Conservatism is needed today more than ever, look at what just happened since the boy who would be king has usurped America! Despite the protestations of the majority of the people, we got Deathcare.
I can’t find the words to express my true outrage at what the Democrats did in ramming government controlled health care down our throats. As the vote took place, it was a surreal moment, as if I was watching America being tortured.
Hard times call for hard choices, and let’s face it, it just doesn’t get any tougher than the economy we have under the Obama administration. People are indeed between a rock and a hard place. Nevertheless, as Obama promised, there is hope, though this time hope comes from… Nevada.
I don’t want to be completely heartless, as I do have sympathy for those who will miss Teddy Kennedy. I’m just not one of those people. For me Teddy Kennedy was just another spoiled liberal fat cat, who got away with murder
Obama has traded the “race card” for the “faith Card” in hopes of making healthcare a moral, therefore a religious issue. This from a guy who believes that America is not a country founded on Judeo-Christian principles?
Obama made it very clear recently that the healthcare system he is proposing is for the healthy. That is the way, the only way he plans to control costs. If you are unhealthy, Obama may ask that you be "selfless," and not get on the system.
This isn't the '60's, when Democrats beat down blacks openly. Democrat tactics like those of the Democrat enforcers, the KKK, simply won't scare the true American patriots. Like the great Republican, Martin Luther King, Jr, we are here to stay. This fight however is not for equality, it is a fight for representation by our elected officials, and not having legislation forced upon us.
