Back in times of slavery, a slave owner could free his own slaves, but only with permission from the government. The process to free a slave was called manumission. The laws at the time made it difficult to free a slave, and it was done only under extraordinary circumstances. We live in those same times today.

Obama’s ability to govern, harkens me back to when I was a wee tot, probably around 5 years old, and I was visiting my great-grandparents in Waelder, TX. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, “Life is like a box of little chocolates.” I learned this at 5 years old. Obama could learn from my lesson.

According to the latest figures, the number of American households on the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (translation: those receiving food stamps) is up to a record 40.8 million at a cost of over $72 billion a year.
I’d be curious to know how many vacations the average black person has taken in the last 18 months. The eight vacations the Obama’s have taken are more than half the black population of America has taken. I know of NO working person who has taken EIGHT vacations in EIGHTEEN months. When you take that many vacations, vacationing is your JOB!
The election of Obama reminds me of a time years ago when I bought a fake Tag Heuer watch. I was visiting Manhattan. Normally I walk right by street vendors, but this watch was gorgeous. All but true Tag aficionados could even come close to telling that the watch was a fake.
I feel strangely and excitedly enlightened today, and it was the NAACP who has shown me that light! What an exciting time we white folk live in! Just when I thought that all hope of being gloriously guilt free in our racism had been squashed by such things as decency and common sense, the NAACP has shown us how. Yes, you too can be free from the shackles of political correctness, free to be as racist as you want to be. All you must do is declare that you are a Democrat!
