Thanks Kevin, for not seeing race as the main issue here.
I’d love to see more of you in the media. I sent my request to FoxNews.

Kevin, I saw you for the first time on 9/12 on Fox News- and I told my husband, “Who is this guy? Have you ever seen him?” Needless to say, we looked you up immediately on the internet and “favorited” is that a word? : )… you and I have enjoyed your site. The hardest thing for my husband and I is that , because we are Conservative and didn’t vote for Obama, and don’t agree with any of his policies, a good number of our black friends say we are racist and give us the cold shoulder now. It is really bothersome. Anyway, you are a breath of fresh air to conservatives, as is Glenn Beck. It would be really awesome if Fox would give you your own show!!!
Thank you, and Bless you, Cammie Melancon

Kevin:
Talked to you at Columbia, Mo in June, and saw you at D.C. rally on 9/12. My sister from PA and brother from OH saw and heard you for the first time and were duly impressed. Thanks for your contribution to our conservative cause. Love you long time!

Hey Kevin.
We heard you speak at the Quincy 9/12 rally. We feel that you are SO important in righting the wrong that is going on in our country. As an American Patriot (that happens to be black), your message has a better chance of reaching the black communities than the all the white speakers at these rallies. I hate to keep mentioning color of skin – but, as long as the Liberals are insisting on playing a race card – that is not even considered in the majority of American’s minds – YOUR voice is SO important!
Political correctness has held our tongues – and we have been slowly led into this line of thinking over many years. It was part of an agenda – it was in preparation for this moment in our country’s history. And, I’m not talking about electing a black president. The agenda was to keep us in separate groups. Smaller groups are easier to control and if they can be pitted against each other – well, that’s even better. For some reason – and I’m just guessing here – I would bet that the terms African-American, Latino-American, etc. were first introduced on GOVERNMENT forms and applications. If we are citizens of the United States of America – then damn it – WE ARE AMERICANS! No hyphens are needed or necessary.
I just wrote FOX – I want to see and hear much more of you.
Thanks for your inspiring words and I am placing an order for your book – NOW!
God Bless You!

Thanks all for the comments and support! I believe race is the #1 issue in America and politics, because the Left wants it to be. For most Americans, race is rarely a consideration, except as a descriptor, i.e. the black boxer or the Mexican boxer. Outside of that, most of us don’t care.
Odette says:
September 20, 2009 at 12:45 pm
Hmm…as much as I wish what you were saying is true, I know it isn’t. This anger towards Obama would probably be the same if Colin Powell were president. It frightens me that you think this isn’t about race. This kind of anger wasn’t present with Bush. When conservatives call Obama racist I think it’s crazy. His mother was WHITE, his grandparents that helped raise him were WHITE. If you can prove to me that these crazy people aren’t racist, heck, I will become a republican. I do agree with a lot of the beliefs of the republican party but what I don’t agree with is how hateful they are towards Obama and that is not Christian-like, which is what this party claims to be. Prove me wrong if you can!
Kevin Jackson says:
September 20, 2009 at 2:01 pm
@Odette – You are wrong. Democrats are racists, and I provide ample evidence. At this point you CHOOSE to be ignorant, so be blissful. You just like taking that beating, and I get it. Some people like having their butts kicked, and think it’s love!
Odette says:
September 20, 2009 at 2:32 pm
@Kevin: thank you for calling me ignorant. And this is why you sound foolish. You are insulting me for no reason. I made a comment and you are attacking me for no reason. WOW! how eloquent of you.
Kevin Jackson says:
September 20, 2009 at 2:38 pm
@Odette – I don’t pull punches here. I don’t like people coming here and espousing their own silly theories, particularly when I have presented ample evidence to the contrary. There are many blogs for you, and this may not be one. If you want the truth, keep visiting, else find somewhere else to talk stupid.
I plan to be part of the solution in 2010 getting blacks and others to understand the truth about the Democrats and liberals. If you happen to be in the way, you will get steamrolled. It’s not personal.
I’m not looking for a sounding board, however when you ask me to prove Democrat racism and liberal lunacy, the “discussion” is over.
Odette says:
September 20, 2009 at 2:55 pm
Please stop sounding like the angryman. I distinctly said I agree with a lot of the views of the republican party. And please stop acting like there are no racist republicans. My goodness what world are you living in?! Racism exists in both parties. Yes I do agree that many black people voted for Obama because he’s black/half black and many white people didn’t vote for him because he’s black. I don’t agree with your angry replies. They are not called for.
lipperlayne says:
September 20, 2009 at 5:38 pm
@Odette,
Your attacks were not called for either. Kevin is not angry, why do you take it so? You give lip service to racism in the democrat party, then go on to make you intended case, which is that republicans are the party of racists. You make no attmept to even acknowledge any of the evidence Kevin has provided here and that can be found elsewhere. Kevin can and will speak for himself (sorry, Kevin, I could not help but jump in), but untill you wish to discuss the political policies of the democrat party to supress blacks and deny them liberty, why should anyone here give you the time of day?
Odette says:
September 20, 2009 at 8:50 pm
@lipperlayne,
AGAIN…I SAID I AGREE WITH A LOT OF WHAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY BELIEVES! You and Kevin are trying to start a fight with me which isn’t cool. Did you read my earlier comments or do you just want something to say? America is a racist country. I wish you two would stop acting like everyone loves each other and no one judges the other by the color of their skin. PLEASE! And don’t mention anything about my liberal views when you have no idea what my views are because you don’t know me nor what I believe. And FYI…I have a REPUBLICAN fiancee and I have two brothers who are REPUBLICAN. I know they aren’t racist.
Roosevelt Moore says:
September 20, 2009 at 9:36 pm
@Odette I think you are slightly missing the mark. I can’t speak for everyone on here but I think I might share their views , mostly. No one is saying that racism doesn’t exist. What I am saying is why are the blacks who voted for Obama not called racist because they did not vote for the white guy? The same people crying racism now said nothing when prominent blacks went around calling Bush every name they could think of. The white people who hung Bush in effegy were not called racist. No one was racist when they made signs showing Bush as Hitler. The only reason race comes up is they can’t argue the facts. Do I believe that there are idiots out there that don’t like a black man as president? Of course. But I refuse to fall for this double standard of racism being trotted out. Why is no one crying racism about the governments treatment of the black population in America? Why is it not racism to deprive them of education, financial stability and the opportunity to improve their lives? It is our right and responsibility to ask questions of the people elected to represent us, NO MATTER WHAT COLOR OR SEX THAT PERSON HAPPENS TO BE. When people start trying to stop debate by crying racism, it does a great disservice to all Americans.
Dana says:

When a black rapper refers to white women as bitches, is he being racist or sexist? Help me out, I’m not sure which victim reflex is suppose to kick in!
Dana says:
September 20, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Point being, why focus on what and who is or is not racist and just let Kevin enlighten us from his perspective? I’d like to learn more about it and if Kevin’s willing to share his black American male perspective, I’d sure like to learn about it. We can’t address the issues if we’re going to try to muffle everything he is trying to share with us just to be argumentative or to “win” a blog dispute.

The truth is, this game has been played by people of a certain political persuasion for quite some time. The best way to gain votes and power is convincing a group of people that they are somehow being victimized; i.e. “Us poor American Blacks!
This tool has been used for years now! However… Change perspective for a moment! Go to the many minority communities in this country of ours. See the poverty, see the bad schools, see the broken families, see the crime, see the drugs, see the guns, see the high rates of incarceration, and best of all… See the DEMOCRATS that are in charge! Conservatives often fail to point out these realities because they are afraid of being called “racist” or some other term. Foolishness! Enough of the lies!

Thanks for the comments and support. I think you will get much of my view on many things when you read my earlier blogs. I wish I had divided them better into categories, and we may adjust them.
My blog is to educate and make people unapologetic conservatives. That is my true hope. I hope about 100,000 of you buy my book, and get others to, as the message is throughout the book, and in a poignant yet funny way.
I do my best to answer your questions, though admittedly I am extremely busy.
Take care all…

Odette: I am white and a big fan of Kevin, because he says it like it is and doen’t not mince words. I read “the Big Black Lie” and it was very eye opening. Race is not an issue until some one brings it up and then I feel like I have to defend myself. The democrats always bring it up when they have no other facts to support them. The KKK was all composed of southern democrats, and still on in congress (Byrd) The democrats never freed the slaves, just took them from the “Plantation” to the “Ghetto”. It is all about control. THey take your self esteem and diginty with entitlements and make sure you can never break out of the mold they have deisgned for you. MLK was a registered republican and saw right though the democrats platform. He Had “A Dream” that he was pursuing in a peaceful way and the democrats were scared of him. When democrats are scared they strike out like they are doing today, racist, astroturfers, ect. It would not surprise me if the democrats had something to do with MLK dimise.
Keep in mind the white race out numbers the blacks in this country and the white people put Obama in office, so I would venture to say “race” was not an issue.
The voters listened to him and thought they were buying the policys he was running on. All can be swayed by “Hope & Change”. I did not vote for him as I could read between the lines. I assure you the 912 and tea parties are not about race. It is the dramatic leftist policies and freedoms being taken from us all. We can see “The yellow brick road” Don’t let the democrats divide us by race.WE ARE ALL AMERICANS
NOT BLACK, IRISH, GERMAN,ASIAN ect. We want to live in the land of the free.

@Dana: Umm…I hate to burst your bubble but SOME rappers refer to ALL women as bitches (white and black) so I wouldn’t call them racist. I would call them dirt bags or offensive but not racist.
@everyone: The Democratic party sucks and so does the Republican party. Both parties have assholes, bigots, racists, womanizers, idiots, blah, blah, blah. Honestly, neither is better than the other. They both play the game. I don’t have much faith in either one.

No bubble to burst here! Just saying that we can all categorize ourselves as victims; should we chose that road in life. I never have. I am not a victim nor have I ever been a victimizer. I feel no guilt that my skin is white.
I am getting frustrated at the seemingly low number of intelligent, driven, talented, moral, hard-working black Americans that refuse to stand up and defend themselves against a system that wants to categorize them as victims and keep them in a group they can control. Where the heck are they? Kevin shouldn’t have to be out here alone.

Thank you for standing up for what you believe in Kevin.
It’s true that when you don’t stand for something; you will fall for anything.
I know that best from experience.
Back in February when Obama began breaking his promises, and lying to us, and basically laughing in our faces, I KNEW this was a situation to observe and pay close attention to. I did not vote for him, but I was very moved at his nomination speech. I remember ‘TRANSPARENCY’ being a key operative in his rhetoric. I also remember the line, “my door is always open”, and “5 days to read a bill online”. Those were not promises that were simply fallen short of — they were grand deceptions.
Those of you still playing politcs saying “all politicians lie” and “all politicians are hypocrites”, are playing right into the hands of these progressive liberals who are indeed selling out our country to a World Government.
These Progressive Liberals are acting on a Marxist Strategy which is key in their agenda to collapse our capitalist system in order to bring about a new system: a system which they do not explain. This Marxist Strategy is The Cloward/Piven Strategy, written by radicals in the 60’s who were taught and mentored by Saul Alinsky; a radical community organizer who wrote the book, ‘Rules for Radicals’. Much of the content in this book makes itself evident in the Cloward/Piven Strategy.
Some of the key philosophies of this Marxist political movement are to:
- Overwhelm the System
- Personalize attacks
- Isolate and ridicule your opponent
Glenn Beck describes these Marxist philosophies best as “a Shell Game”.
If you still have hope in this administration, and especially, if you obey them when they instruct you to disregard what the opposition is saying; you are being played.
Maybe it’s time you take an open look at those they wish to silence…maybe you will discover why they cannot refute this information, but only counter attack and change the subject. Maybe you will learn that the Truth can sometimes come in conspicuous packaging.
I hope you learn at some point that the Truth is nothing to hide from.

Yea Kevin! I’m not a white man. I’m kinda a pinkish beige. I noticed that you aren’t a black man. You’re kinda a rich brown. So I guess that makes us both colored people. My wife is colored, too. I have “black friends” and almost lost one when we were having lunch and I said something critical of Obama. I’m an old guy and guess what I have discovered? Usually the first person to cry “racism” is the person who is the most racist. Race is constantly on their mind.
Warmest regards,
Gary

What did you think about Sarah Palin’s cover shot on NewsWeek in running shorts? Did it, as the editor of NewsWeek explained was the purpose of it, make you question her gravitas? (I had to look up that word) The last time I paid attention Sarah had resigned her office as Governor of Alaska, had not announced she was running for any office and was on a book tour. That means she is just a plain citizen, like me. Except I’m not a girl. She absolutely terrifies Liberals. Just that alone is reason to vote for her if she announces she’s running for something. Oh wait, that picture was taken for an article in a runners magazine and then later sold by the photographer to NewsWeeek as well. I was shocked by her lack of “gravitas” when I discovered she wasn’t jogging in an evening gown.

Odette, Odette, Odette! You are quite a lady. I think the thing that is keeping you on the defensive here is that you dont portray any understanding that the Democratic Party is not what they say they are. You dont seem to make the distinction between the Democratic and Republican Party as one who gets %95 of the Black vote and the other as the one who gets lambasted with Politically Correct name calling and stigmatizing as the Party of Slavery and the Party of “NO”.
The main point that Kevin wants you to hear or else you will be “Steamrolled”, is that you need to realize that the Democratic Party has been in control in almost every major city in this country where blacks make up a large portion of the electorate. If you think about it, the Dems have controlled the maojor cities for at least 50 years and look what has happened. The major inner cities are slums. The family is an endangered species. The people themselves hold a lot of the blame for this, but they have been helped and pushed into this position by Democratic leaders who promise freebies and handouts, essentially in exchange for their brains and initiative.
We the people of the USA, have been silenced by a very powerful Democratic Machine that uses Racism and Class warfare as tools to keep informed people like myself and Kevin from speaking about the truth. And the truth is only that you as a citizen, have the power to be all you can be without the Goverment constantly bearing down on you. The problem is getting a huge population of Black people to all come together and realize this. Its a big problem because a lot of blacks who vote are dependent on the Government and will turn a deaf ear on such information, especially from a white guy like me. Thats why it is so important for us show support to guys like Kevin who are doing a tough and big service. He has to Steamroll people cause playing nice will get him steamrolled. Thanks. Joe.

I don’t care what color or ethnicity our President is as long as he supports the Constitution. If the people want the President to be black, I’ll support their effort as long his name is “Kevin Jackson.” I’m one of those white guys Obama calls “racist” I seen you on Beck’s program and I am buying your book. I was born and raised in South L.A. and also worked as a Firefighter on the Los Angeles Fire Dept. and worked in the South Central areas fo over 53 years. I’m well aware of the “black experience” You should be a role model for the younger youth – black and white!

There is a reason for the whole “house negro” term. This Kevin guy takes pride in getting patted on the back by white folk. The way you attacked Odette there cleared all my doubts about you.
I am very much in favor of a lot of conservative policies, but I am NOT for bashing Obama and calling him names, just like I didn’t want to hear it against Bush. Now you have this clown talking nonsense, acting like he is really interested in the truth. Man, please. You really are a house negro…as much as it pains me to say it.
If you were doing this for the right reasons, your tone would be different. You’re either doing it for money, or for recognition. May God help you.
