 //  NAACP is RACIST

Posted on Monday, July 12th, 2010 by Kevin Jackson

Back in May, the NAACP finally spoke out about an incident where two SEIU members were accused of assaulting a black man vending Gadsden flags at a Conservative rally.

Gateway Pundit provides this transcript:

Back in the day, we used to call someone like that, and I want to remind you, uh, when this incident occurred, I was really struck by a front page picture of this guy, which we called, a Negro, I mean that we call him a Negro in the fact that he works for not for our people but against our people. In the old days, we call him an Uncle Tom. I just gotta say that. Here it is, the day after a young brother, a young man, I didn’t mean to call him a brother, but on the front page of the Post Dispatch, ironically, he’s sitting in a wheelchair, being kissed on the forehead, by a European. Now just imagine that as a poster child picture, not working for our people.

The group that is supposed to represent all “colored people” calls a black Conservative an “Uncle Tom.” And their representative apparently is unaware that the NAACP was originally called the National Negro Committee, before deciding to include all “colored” people.

In the Gladney attack, one of Gladney’s attackers was white.  One can only conject that the “new and improved” NAACP will protect only Liberal “colored people,” and selected whites—particularly those instrumental in giving beatdowns to “Negros.”

On the night of the incident, Gladney was working to provide for his family selling Gadsden flags at an event.  Of all the people these two union thugs could have selected at what the Left would deem a racist event, the thugs avoided the hundreds (crowd estimates were 1000 people) of white folks and found the only black person. There that Negro is, Cletus!

Gladney was not adorned in red, white, and blue, nor was his appearance overly patriotic. He looked and acted like a “vendor.” Nevertheless, the two SEIU hooligans, both at least fifty pounds heavier than Gladney singled him out for their attack. Wearing their gang colors, the...

purple SEIU t-shirts, his attackers made it perfectly clear that they represented the union–apparently Gladney didn’t have his union card.

So a black man was attacked for no reason, and while on the job; yet there was no outcry in the black community, no Sharpton visit, no Jackson press conference, and we now know the NAACP’s stance on the issue. The best they could come up with when attacking Gladney in the court of public opinion was: He didn’t even have medical insurance!

Gone are the days when the National Negro Committee turned NAACP actually stood for Republican ideals and truly represented the interest of blacks and other “colored people.” Like on June 18, 1935 in Murray v Pearson, when Thurgood Marshall and Charles Hamilton Houston successfully argued the landmark case to open the University of Maryland School of Law. This was back with the NAACP truly cared about educating blacks and protecting the rights of blacks.

This type of event is where the NAACP could have regained credibility and showed that it represents all people; instead they showcased exactly who and what they are—an organization who condones thuggery.

The speaker mentioned that Gladney was being “kissed on the forehead, by a European.” I’d like to know who is kissing the NAACP on the forehead. What exactly have they accomplished for black people in the modern day?

The worse neighborhoods in America. The worse schools. The highest crime rates. The most people on welfare, per capita.  Highest teenage pregnancy per capita. Highest high school dropout rates per capita. Lowest home ownership per capita. Lowest business ownership per capita.

Here’s the wrap:

The NAACP couldn’t do worse for blacks if it had been founded by Confederate Civil War veterans[1].  And in the Gladney incident, the NAACP proved that they are no better than the KKK.

Like the KKK, the NAACP has its second-class citizens—black Conservatives. Nevertheless, given the effectiveness of the NAACP in dealing effectively with black issues, I suggest that black Conservatives avoid the “help” that the NAACP provides, and enjoy being second-class citizens. Just try to avoid the occasional beatdowns.

That’s my rant!

The best way to perpetuate liberal victimization is to see Ken Gladney as a black man only and not to see him as an individual entitled to his own opinions. This bigoted creep at the NAACP sees Ken Gladney's skin color first, not the content of his character, which is just a damn shame. The fact that Gladney is attacked for not towing the Obozo-worshiping party line and for being kissed by a white person is just plain disgusting.

Gladney was attacked for being a black man selling Gasden flags. He was called the N-word while being beaten by SEIU thugs. The fact that the NAACP can't take the right side when what's right and what's wrong is painfully obvious means they will never ever regain the moral high ground.

Don't you love how we've come so far towards defeating racism in this country and now you have to fight other black people and those "I love me some black people" white liberals? They don't want you to have freedom or free choice (at least not when it works against their agenda). Now we've got racism against whites being institutionalized. I guess racism is just too profitable an industry. What a shame…. By the way, thank you for the article on Janene Garafolo. I hate that chick!

Kevin, if I'm not mistaken the NAACP was started by white conservatives to help the black community. They employed a number of blacks and eventually turned over control to the blacks. Maybe the whites should take back control then maybe the black community will be represented the right way.

Great article Kevin. The NAACP are, like its twin the CBC, specialists in selective ideological racism. The Gladney treatment just further proves the point you've been blogging about, that their ideology of Marxism/Socialism trumps the color of one's skin. Kevin, this behaviour by the NAACP, the NBP, the CBC and the POTUS is going to backfire bigtime on the black community. The white guilt that helped elect Obama is evaporating faster than the President's poll numbers.

Great article Kevin. The NBP's treatment of Gladney is no surprise and given that the NAACP marches in lockstep with the Progressives, I guess, means there should be no surprise in their inaction either. The fact that the Progs treat blacks as a victim class ironically just means that they don't really want blacks progressing beyond being a dependent group. Sadly, it's a business model to the NAACP, Sharpton, Jackson, et al and is in the left's political interest to keep the victim label on blacks. Kevin, I agree it's an outrage that the NAACP's ideology trumps helping a Conservative black that was physically victimized simply because of his skin color.

Yes, Juli, amazing what they decide is newsworthy! I checked out the site so I could post on Big Government.

So true dong. White Republicans started the NAACP back in 1909. They are now a bunch of socialist, and proud of it.

It sadly is no surprise to me how the NAACP treats black Conservatives. If their books were audited, you would see an amazingly corrupt organization, like the Congressional Black Caucus.

"An organization that only has black members that only promotes black
people causes are accusing tea parties of being racist groups? Their
whole organization is based on racist principles! Even their Name!
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black." ~ C. Owens

They need to be reminded of their mission statement:

"The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights for all, and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination. The NAACP strives for a society where all individuals are treated fairly and equally."

As our American society has moved closer and closer to achieving that goal, groups like the NAACP have achieved nothing more than keeping the divide wide and bleeding. Shame on them. And shame on the obama's for widening the gap and using it to their benefit. They suck.

Its so good to see people like Kevin and his group. I'm so happy someone has put the spotlight on the NAACP. Good lord. What if a white conservative called a black person colored? You wanna talk about problems. I just wish they would disband. They're too busy looking for a reason to get offended. They bring shame to the NAACP of old that had REAL racism and racist to deal with. This is from a black conservative from North Carolina. Thanks Kevin and keep up the great work.

I'm trying to understand Kevin, when he used the words "Uncle Tom" was he refering to you? If so, what's wrong with that? Because you are an Uncle Tom.
