 //  Obama Discusses Afghanistan

Posted on Monday, November 30th, 2009 by Kevin Jackson

ph.obama_00989_5-9-08At least in Iraq the people knew they were getting the”All Saddam All The Time” channel.  That’s how dictatorships work.  I can’t imagine that “Guilters” (the “white guilt” constituency who elected Obama) believed they were going to get this much of “His Half-Blackness” on their TV sets…all the time!

Because Obama believes he has a mandate from the Guilters, we are treated to “All Obama All The Time” news, the only difference being that he warns us when something is really important, by telling us about it in advance.

He seems to prefer Tuesdays, as this day preempts a highly rated prime time TV show like “So You Think You Can Dance,” and rightfully so!  For as we have learned with ObamaNation…nothing is more important than Obama.

And what revelation will Obama share with us this Tuesday?  Well, it’s a two-fer!  We will learn of Obama’s well thought out war strategy for the war in Afghanistan, and get the ancillary understanding of just how stupid General McChrystal’s strategy was for Afghanistan!

Shameless plug:  I spent 3 weeks traveling to help feed the CA farmers, and draw attention to their plight. The gov’t is allocating water (5%), and these people are losing everything.  So donate to the Tea Party Patriots to help these great Americans.  And consider buying my Amazon best-selling book The BIG Black Lie . Thanks!

Here is a tidbit, a sneak peak as it were on what we will learn as this AP story reports:

The White House says President Barack Obama is placing heavy emphasis on how the United States eventually will withdraw from Afghanistan even as he plans to announce a troop increase next week.

I can hardly wait to hear this.  Though I got the gist of it from the AP story, I know that Obama will fill in the details of why it has taken him weeks to conclude what General McChrystal concluded in mere moments.  I can only imagine the dizzying spin to which America will be treated.  No doubt Obama’s will explain that his delay was contemplative and deliberate, while McChystal of course…jumped to a conclusion!

AP goes on to report,

The president and his top military and national security advisers have held 10 meetings to discuss America’s future steps in Afghanistan. Though the top general in Afghanistan has asked the president for about 40,000 troops, military officials expect the president will deploy about 35,000, starting next year.

I love the play by play in this article, e.g. “…top military and national security advisers have held 10 meetings…”  Ten meetings!  As if the number of meetings is important.  What if it had only been eight meetings, then what? And I’m sure these were very transparent...

meetings…for Al Jazeera

Finally, last time I checked McChrystal is the top military and national security adviser.

It irks me that Obama is always looking for an “exit strategy!”  It confirms for me that Obama doesn’t know how to win anything…except elections.  So here’s a thought on strategy, Barack:  WIN THE WAR!  That makes the exit strategy so much simpler, and a lot cleaner than the “tail between your legs” strategy that you will likely employ!

As for the staging of this “All Obama All The Time” press conference at West Point, only kool-aid drinking Liberals would miss the symbolism!  The most inept “Commander in Chief” appearing at West Point, one of America’s most hallowed military institutions—and an institution that Obama is more than willing to tear down, happy to do so in fact!

Like his racism, Obama admitted to his disdain of America’s military during his campaign, as he believes they are butchers, imposing America’s imperialist and capitalist views willy-nilly around the world.  Remember that as with all things Bush, Obama “inherited this mess”–that includes the US military.

Nevertheless, don’t be surprised if Obama’s staff wrangles to get him an honorary degree!  And why not?!  Obama came to essentially the same conclusion that proven military strategist and 4-star General McChrystal concluded…only Obama’s strategy is better!  If only McChrystal had come to the conclusion to use only 35,000 troops, instead of the 40,000l! How stupid was that?!!  One can easily see that Obama is much more contemplative and definitive in his conclusion, than McChrystal!

obama-thinking 2Here’s the wrap:

I suggest that when Obama needs to make a tough decision quickly, he ask himself, “What would Bush do?”

Obama said weeks ago, that he did not want to put more troops in harm’s way. Ironically in the meantime, troops were already in harm’s way.  And in the end, Obama decided to go with McChrystal’s decision…to put more troops in harm’s way.  The only change is Obama wants an exit strategy…oh and to put out the fire that he has created with his lunatic base.

The Left is mad as hell that Obama is fighting two wars abroad, their anger tempered only by the two wars being fought on the home front: The War on Achievement and The War on Capitalism.

Regardless of how we feel, America will be graced with Obama on Tuesday, during prime time.  We again will be treated to watching who Liberals say is “the smartest man in the room,” the man who brought “sexy thinking” to the White House.  Let’s just hope Mr.  Sexy Thinker doesn’t have to make any snap decisions, as they appear to be above his pay grade.

That’s my rant!

That picture of that buffoon with his idiot hand to his concrete head is the most screwed-up, disjointed, half-assed, goofy, uncoordinated, almost treasonous, salute I have ever seen. Holy crap, does he ever do anything right? It looks like the kind of salute an American-hating, Kenyan, Koran-lover would make.

Mick says:

Kevin another good rant.

Top military and national security advisers held 10 meetings. How wonderful! Yes Kevin I agree the number of meetings you have is insignificant. Remember the more meetings you have is a sure sign of the incompetency of those in attendance. Would you not expect this group to provide the decision maker the info he needs after 1 or 2 meetings when he was already advised by his grounds general another 40,000 troops were required to accomplish their goals in Afghanistan?

Will NBC and MSNBC and the New York Times report the 10 meetings as senseless and a waste of taxpayer dollars. Of course not. They will spin the 10 meetings in their typical positive fashion. BUT, we know that these 10 meetings are just another sign of how incompetent and inexperienced our commander-in-chief is….excuse me….meant to say how inexperienced our community organizer is.

By the way what happened to our Iraq exit strategy?

FA says:
November 30, 2009 at 10:24 am

Again nice one Kevin!
10 meetings in the program/project world means failure.
This is just another example that shows he cares more about himself than he does about our troops.
This administration makes me sad and mad. All hope is gone.

Great rant Kevin!
I agree with JJ-that sloppy,half-assed salute would have gotten him an ass chewing in the service.
Since he is visiting West Point do you think he will get an Honorary Doctors degree to go along with his Noble peace prize?
The Libs will probably spin this decision by saying he is saving 5000 lives because he is only sending 35000 instead of 40000.

This pittiful idiot needs 10 meetings just to decide which hand to wipe his ars with.

jj…thats the community organizer’s studious look. His advisers told him it exuberates intelligence. Or, it could be his dumbfounded look after being told his teleprompter is inoperative. Whichever its definitely a klutzy look.

Mike says:
November 30, 2009 at 12:05 pm

I get the sense that, as he progresses in this administration, Obama is being confronted with some very, to him, ugly realities.

1. His world view was based on ignorance and his own dislike for America, rather than facts.
2. There were valid reasons for the anti-terror policies of the Bush Administration, and that these were, coherent, internally consistent policies. And they kept America safe from another attack for 8 years.

He doesn’t know how to handle this. So, he desperately searches for a way to distance himself from what he now knows was successful. The only real political base he has, the lunatic-fringe left, would never allow credit to his predecessor. So he dithers. But the dithering is not about how to proceed on the ground, but how to sell what he knows needs to be done at home.

Joe says:
November 30, 2009 at 2:26 pm

President BO continues to exhibit the fruits of his egoistic imagination as he consistantly supposes that military leadership is nothing more than being thoughtful and ideological.

He has no idea how the military trains for what it does, why the military trains as hard it does, how leadership is developed in the military, the value of experience in the military, what weapons are appropriate in what situation, how to plan, coordinate and evaluate a military operation or anything else about the military.

Yet he sees himself as a competent Commander in Chief.

What gall.

Karen says:
November 30, 2009 at 2:38 pm

He’ll use the excuse of not rushing in to action to justify his delay, and yet everything else he has done required rushing into action instead of deliberation. Oh how I wish some real journalist would ask why bailouts and healthcare are so urgent we must do something now but our national security can be dithered about.

jj solari says:
November 30, 2009 at 3:11 pm

Karen?…..this is a great observation. I like the way you think.

Mick says:
November 30, 2009 at 3:41 pm

Karen believe it has to do with his favorability rating. He is going to lose more independents and various groups within the white block of votes by deploying more troops. It has been suggested to him that he raise taxes to obsorb the additional cost for deploying more troops. Regardless of what he does its a no win situation for him.

What else will the dumbocrats want to tax? Do not remember the senator’s name who is proposing this new tax but he has a couple others who have signed on with him.

jj solari says:
November 30, 2009 at 3:53 pm

My understanding of Warring is that after you conquer a country you own it. America has never followed this timeworn policy so you can’t blame the Kenyan too much for this one. He’s just as lost as to what War is as every president since Wilson. Obowma is just doing what every American President has done for a hundred years. Send millions of Americans to their deaths and then gain nothing in return. America is sort of a Sacrificial Lamb to the entire planet. Or a patsy as the Italians say.

Karen says:
November 30, 2009 at 4:47 pm

I love how our taxes can be used to pay for things not part of the federal government’s responsibility (healthcare and cap and trade) but we have to have a separate tax to pay for the main objective of the federal government. We don’t have enough tax dollars to wage a war keeping Al Quieda out of Afghanistan thereby protecting our national security, but we can spend trillions on plans to nationalize health care. The man really needs to get his priorities straightened out.

Somebody should have told him he didn’t have time to read McChrystal’s report. That it was an emergency and should be blindly signed. That would have been the only one of those excuses I agreed with.

jj solari says:
November 30, 2009 at 4:57 pm

Karen: I need someone to tell me what “the main objective of the federal government” even is. I actually have no idea what it is there for. at all. the only answer i ever get is “otherwise we would have chaos.” Then what’s this that we gut – order? tranquility? opportunity? progress? prosperity? liberty? seems like chaos is what we GUT.

madamth1 says:

Sun Tsz would eat this adminstration for breakfast. Several of his passages about how to lose a war this man is perfecting. First, haste makes waste, but delay never invites wisdom. This man continuing delays just decays morals, enbolden the enemies (or his Muslim allies, who knows?). Another, battles are won by generals and not politicians. The path to victory is for leader to let the generals process unencumbered. Well, BO, like code stink and their irk, want to meddle and make things choatic and confusing. Just remember Hitler during the D-Day invasion and you get an idea what BO is doing. The winning general looks for weakness and attacks, a losing general looks for retreat and takes it. Uh, does “exit strategy” mean anything? I means defeat. Lastly, “No nation has ever benefited from a protacted war”. These are all the polices that BO is doing and I could quote even more, costs, moral, knowing thyself and thy enemy, and so on, but these are the ones that stand out over this stupid soon to be speech. We lost in Vietnaum because the VC understood Sun Tzu while America had forgotten and it seems our Islamic enemies have learned as well while we continue to follow the path of folly and to our own demise unless we learn the path of victory. The biggest is believing and wanting it the most.

Kevin – love reading your rants.Maybe Obowmao had to think about how doing right by the military and giving them what they ask for fits into his whole “fundametally transform America” plan.By the way,I think that salute is both weak and sad.He looks like the class clown.

Karen says:
November 30, 2009 at 7:30 pm

ant, I hadn’t even noticed the salute in the picture til you mentioned it but, Lord have mercy, even I know that when you salute the thumb is pressed to the forefinger. How can a man who doesn’t even know a proper salute run an effective military?

Answer me this, why is it that fighting a war against a group of people who hate everything we stand for and want to see us dead is a bad thing because violence is never the answer, but beating a man in the street for disagreeing with their personal ideologies is acceptable. I’m really struggling with that one.

Sir RonB says:

Another good one Kevin. This Master Jedi Warrior has finally decided after 90 days to grant a troop surge even though his number is 5,000 short of what the General had asked for (Score one for B-Rock). Ten meetings of the mind. What a waste of brain power that was, if there was only a brain in that room! It took 10 meetings to grant a simple request from a general that you put in place to advise you on such matters. Why could he not wait 90 days for the “Stickit2us” package or the deform of health care? I think Yoda would be proud of this warrior even though Master Luke Skywalker would whoop his butt for his strategy!

Don Sullivan says:

As for that salute, I think he might have recently revisited his cocaine use; or maybe that’s how he shows respect….or disdain. He’s just a poor community organizer in over his head.

Don Sullivan says:

madamth1

My apologies for that. I really think he spent all of this time trying to figure out a way to get small Special Forces units involved so that he could defer the heat from his lunatic base. During the campaign he made it clear that he wanted more of this and less of the large numbers. My son is one of those people and when he heard this he laughed. He said, “does this guy know that there’s less than 400 of us”. Sun Tzu probably would have insisted on boots on the ground in large numbers.

Mick says:
November 30, 2009 at 8:48 pm

Always thought the purpose of government was to keep us safe and sound. When your commander-in-chief isn’t respected by foreign leaders that makes it a difficult task. Couple that with a bunch of people controlling everything in our daily lives leaves us with little hope for prosperity. We have to remember BHO told us it would only take him 13 months to remove our troops from Iraq. He’s almost at the 10 month level with very little change. Just another broken promise by BHO.

As to health care reform the CBO reported today that if the plan being proposed by the Senate was to pass we would incur an immediate 10% increase in our health care premiums. If your employer provides health care as a benefit then you will be taxed on that benefit. If your employer doesn’t provide health care benefits then he will be penalized which means more job cuts.

This coming year doesn’t look very promising. The wars, rising un and under employment, rising taxes and eventually the government telling you when and where and who as it relates to your medical needs. We cannot forget the leader of the IRS doesn’t like paying his income taxes. He was slapped on his wrists and told not to do it again and is now our sitting Treasury Security. Guess its true when said…America, the land of the free. The laws of the land do not apply to our leaders.

Just sent a message to FOX, always hoping you will be back. I told my brother about your stand for clarity and reality midst so much disinformation from the mainstream. He was pretty beaten down mentally. When he did go to this site, he was so grateful! It gave him the needed boost, and he is an enthusiastic supporter!
Thanks for this Rant too. Afghan fighters seem to want to fight,,,anybody. The CIC needs to respect the recommendations by commanders in the field. Our mission is to curtail terror cells coming from the region. Cannot speak for other posters here, but can only hope our Military Establishment is not as queezy as I am about directionals coming from the Administration. The people and Electoral College voted this POTUS. I will never know why.

I read recently the code pink ladies had a run-in with a war veteran. One of the “ladies” physically attacked him.Must be that peace and understanding, huh? Another “lady” told a report that they were out there to protect us and our children from war. It’s funny, but I thought our men and women in the Armed Forces were protecting us from war.Strange how they fail to recognize the war being raged by radical islam on a daily basis.

gh says:

@Mick

So true. I’ve often wonder what would happen if those of us who have to pay taxes every January 15th just didn’t. We just didn’t send in our check and when they come to get us we just say it was “an oversight”. Would IRS give us the same leeway?

jj solari says:
December 1, 2009 at 1:18 pm

Maybe that muttonhead is giving a “parade salute” that the guys in the black parades they used to have on Martin Commie King day used to do when they would march in formation in a kind of jive-step cadence and dance-like march step with intricate rhythms like camo’ed soldiers from The Army Of Hi-Steppin’ Mo’fo’s, and they’d snap their knees and elbows and backs and do this marching dancestep choreography all slouched and jivey and do these “yeah I’m cool” salutes, kinda half-assed and it all was pretty bitchin’ I haffta admit, it made you want to join the Army, which i don’t think was their intent but anyway I bet that’s what that reetard is doing, he’s sort of “lettin’ the bruthuhs know that whitey ain’t
foolin’ me none” and so that’s pro’bly what that bozo’s doing, talkin to his peeps. Ite.

Mick says:
December 1, 2009 at 2:19 pm

Dana…fraid not. If you were a member of the BHO cabinet they would slap your wrist, scold you and tell you not to do it again. Instead they will zap you with interest and a penalty large enough to choke a horse and if you don’t pay up immediately they will attach your financial accounts.

From Obama–
“Merry F#%king Christmas, AMERICA!! Gonna send some boys over to Afganiland for Yuletide cheer. Couldn’t do it 3 months ago when my thumb was up my azz and couldn’t make a rational decision. Hell I still can’t do that!! Heck we might have been sending troops home by now if I’d have done that months ago. But while I enjoy Christmas in the White House, your loved ones will be searching caves for ragheads. And i will make your kids stay up later to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas, since this will probably be the last year it’ll be shown because it is too religious.”

jj solari says:

Well it seems the Kenyan in Chief has decided to send the Marines to do a job the Army can’t. That part is as-usual. Then he’ll arrest them all for murder. Once he gets rid of the Marines it’ll be pretty much over. He might be foolin’ everyone else. But he ain’t foolin’ me.
