When I was a freshman in college I took an elective called “Justice and Racism.”

I always enjoyed topics of social debate so I figured it would be a good class. It was right after 9/11 and right after some days of side bar discussion about Arabs etc. (school was in North Jersey so a lot of Arabs in the class) we got to talking about the cirriculum.

I was one of the only white students in the class and right away I felt like I was under attack. I’ve never felt like a priveleged white, my Grandparents were poor immigrants from Italy and Poland that came here after WW2. Still I was lumped into a category of de facto oppressor.

The professor (who dressed and spoke like a black nationalist…seriously) proceeded to tell us that because of slavery and systematic oppression of whites on blacks, that blacks cannot be racist and anything they do is a reaction to slavery/system racism etc.

Being 19 at the time, I was actually kind of liberal but this rubbed me the wrong way. I could not grasp how the professor was justifying what I mistakenly (will explain in a bit) called “reverse racism.”

I raised my hand and the black militant professor called on me and I said something like “how can you simply justify reverse racism because of past racism of other people?” He got really black panther on me and wrote the word “RACISM” in all caps on the board. Then he wrote the word “REVERSE” before it. The following is his rebuttal:

“There is no such thing as “reverse racism” because if you reverse racism then you take it away…negate it, and then you have no racism…so you cannot have reverse racism.”

I then said “ok, that was a cute semantic game you just played but you know what i mean. what if I was robbed or maimed simply because I’m white? I’m in a black neighborhood where I hold no systemic power and people simply hate me because I’m white?”

He justified it again as a reaction to racism.

Despite being one of the only actively engaged students during the term and writing a great final paper…I got a C in the class.

I joined the military a few years later and found that the victim culture exists there too. I would explain more but I’ve already written a lot.

Point being, why do some black teachers poison black youth with thinking that their problems are because of white people and to react in that way is acceptable?

I bet if you took black people who bought into the victim gimmick and those who didn’t (like Kevin) and matched them up in terms of what they’ve acheived in life, the black people who rejected the liberal notion of being a victim and blindly hating white people would be light years ahead.

I am well aware of the commenters on my blog, as I get the info on them from many sources. At one point I had Aryan Nation people reading my blog, and in one speech I gave I had a young white racist greet me and say that he was “one of them” that I spoke of, but that he had a change of heart.

I don’t know why knuckledragging Neanderthal racists (I’m including Liberals and Democrats) want to read my blog. I think they find it refreshing to learn that there are blacks who don’t fit the mold that they have for us. There are MANY blacks who can and do work for what they get. Now these people likely don’t want me to date their daughters, but baby steps.

Point is, don’t judge me by my commenters, judge me by what you read of MINE! I take no responsibility beyond that.

Many blacks feel that black conservatives have teamed up with some of the worst opponents of racial equality for blacks: white conservatives. You call President Obama a racist, but are you aware that you have the Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan posting on your blog, and if you do shame on you for accepting him.
