 //  Obama’s Snow Job

Posted on Monday, March 1st, 2010 by Kevin Jackson

I’m not lying, but the recent “lack of jobs” has been blamed on of all things…SNOW!

AP reported that

Many analysts expect this month’s snowstorms cost up to 100,000 jobs and will artificially inflate the unemployment rate. A clear reading of the job picture may not be available until March or April.

Apparently, even the white powdery substance is not immune to the racist taunts of the Obama administration.  Needing a scapegoat for not creating the 95,000 jobs per month promised by Obama recently, the White House has now decided that snow is the new boogeyman, or in this case, the abominable snowman!

I have chronicled for some time Obama’s jobs creation promises beginning at 2.5M, then 3.1M, then 4M+, and the lexicon shift to “creating or saving.”

When that didn’t work, they just made it easy on us abandoning “created or saved,” and said that if a company got stimulus money, then all the jobs were saved.  Present tally of jobs saved by Obama is now more than all the jobs in the US with 2B jobs created in India and China!

So considering the snow job that Obama has done on America, you would think he would not be so quick to throw his white powdery pal under the bus.  Nevertheless, there snow lies, wrangling in the mud with the likes of light-skinned Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, and Obama’s “Scared of black men” Toots.

This is not the first time Obama has used snow for his own racist agenda.  As Bush did with Katrina, wreaking havoc on Chocolate City, Obama conjured up the vicious snow storm that hit the Midwest killing many of the Nascar crowd.  Unlike Bush however, Obama had the nerve to throw a house party while...

white folks were literally freezing to death! Has he no shame?

With job losses having dropped and unemployment having peaked, one would think that Obama would not need a scapegoat, right?

A recap of Obama’s policies easily explains why the fluffy white stuff may not be to blame, and the job losses may in fact be the fault of…Obama!

Earlier in the week, new-home sales fell in January to their lowest pace on record. And consumer confidence plunged in February.

Mark Vitner, senior economist at Wells Fargo, said the weak reports point to an economy struggling to wean itself from government stimulus programs such as homebuyer tax credits and other supports.  “Going forward, growth is going to be much more dependent on the private sector,” Vitner said. “And consumer demand hasn’t picked up that much yet.”

But people are not stopping there, as they are blaming snow for slowing the effectiveness of the recovery, though I wasn’t aware there was an actual recovery.

Here’s the wrap:

Had it not been for that snow, Obama would have created 100,000 jobs—based on “analyst expectations”— putting him 5,000 jobs ahead of the stated jobs creation goal. Amazing that snow negated almost exactly the number of jobs Obama promised to create!  As Church Lady would say, “How conVENient!”

According to what Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told a congressional committee as reported by AP,

…the snowstorms are likely to have a short-term – but not permanent – effect on unemployment and layoffs. He said policymakers will “have to be careful about not overinterpreting” the upcoming jobs data.

See, there is good news. It’s all only temporary.  As long as we don’t over-interpret the idea that Obama…CAN’T CREATE JOBS!  Unless you count the snow job.

That’s my rant!

Where did you find that picture of me shoveling snow?I’m surprised Owe-Bow-ma didn’t blame it all on Bush for not signing the Kyoto Treaty.I’m not surprised however that a narcissist finds someone or something to blame for his failures.

Dateline: Washington, DC….
Obama and his snow bunny friend Marion Barry were seen noses down and butts up sniffing the snow.
Nancy the Pelosi was overheard to say ‘I haven’t seen this itsy-bitsy amount of snow since 1965 Haight-Ashbury.’
HarryRoid said that all this snow is a ‘real pain in the ass.’ Joe B laughed saying that he was using it wrong!

Speakin’ of all things white, has the kenyan in chief congratulated the Americans yet for their fine showing in the winter Olympics? You all let me know on this, ok? I’d wait around on this happening but I have things ta do. Now I know the kenyan in chief aint too crazy about white people and i have no problem with this, racism is something i completely understand and i think it’s perfectly natural. But I would think that even a white-hater like Obama would put patriotism ahead of racism, I know I do, and at least if unable to make a sincere congratulatory remark at least make a lying one. Just for appearances. Like I say, you let me know as soon as this happens, cuz I won’t be waiting-around for it. Thanks.

C’mon Barack! Didn’t the snow CREATE some jobs?? After all, if there’s anything we can say about snow is that it’s “Shovel-Ready!”

Kevin

Once again here we go with the analysts!! We have to remember they are part of the Wall Street money managers, investment advisers, fund managers group. They will tell you with a straight face on live television that you should invest after the next dip. They are famous for making a positive out of a negative. They will tell you this month you should concern yourself with corporate balance sheets and more than likely next month it’ll be the earnings statement. The analysts will tell you the time is right to buy……which by the way is all the time.

Now its snow! Seriously when you stop and think about it isn’t that a bit ridiculous? Aren’t Jan and Feb known for winter type weather months? Now 100,000 jobs would have been created if it wasn’t for the winter weather that was experienced?? Did notice they aren’t blaming those 100,000 jobs not created on Bush!

The dumb-o-crats just don’t get it do they? Before you can create jobs BUSINESS needs more business. They AIN”T gonna invest in more employees without it! Any doofus who believes otherwise really don’t know their rump from their elbow!!

JJ

Glad you’re wise enough not to hold your breath. Regardless of what we may think of them our prior two presidents attended the Olympics. They were part of the audience rooting for the representatives of their nation. But, how could we expect the ALIEN we now have in that position to do the same? I’m sure before all is said and done he’ll invite the American Olympians to the white house for a photo-op……….what a phony SOB he is!!!

Oh, and by the way JJ an excellent comment. Very observant of you……

Kevin, apropo that snow is being blamed for “jobs lost” seeing as this whole “jobs saved” template is nothing but a snow job anyway. The Wells Fargo analyst stating the obvious fact that the jobs recovery will have to come from the private sector means a continued blizzard of misery for the unemployed (at least the ones who really want to work). The rubber is soon to hit the road in the next month or so when Bernake has to make a decision on whether to keep printing money so the Fed can keep buying Treasury debt. Kevin, surely the Fed will be the apolitical watchdog that they so often proclaim to be (or is it choke on?). The only silver lining in these cloudy skies is the probability that there are going to be a bunch of law making (or breaking) incumbents joining the “jobs lost” stat. Wonder if the state run media will use the tired and worn out term “more than expected” to describe what WILL happen in November?

Kevin, I know this is off subject a bit but leave it to a dem to ratchet up the “weird” factor, apparently oblivious to their unique ability to do so. Kind of like Louise Slaughter waxing about the woman who had to wear her dead sisters’ dentures to make a point of the need for Obamacare. Geez dude, nothing is off limits when it comes to dems and their sacred cows where nothing is too sacred after all. The strange thing is that under Obamacare if new dentures were in fact paid for there would probably be an extra tax on them like there reportedly is on walkers, wheel chairs, etc. If George Harrison had heard this bizarre story he could have been inspired to add another line in his song Taxman….If you use your feet I’ll tax the street, if you smile too broad I’ll tax your teeth!

Yes Kevin I agree. In fact, there is no longer room for common sense with the democrats. Their way and their way only is what its going to boil down to!!

It’s very obvious that Bush created the snowstorm. Duh! He did it so while people can hide in the snowstorm and the government will have to buy shovels from Halliburton and shovel them out. Clearly this is so Cheney can get rich and donate his earnings to charity again.

So let me get this straight, the blame it on Bush tactics aren’t working anymore (don’t think they ever did), so you’re going to blame your stupid socialist policies on the weather? For real? This just gets better and better!! Great rant Kevin. Glad you’re on OUR side.

JJ, what is your take on on our VP Biden representing our government at the Vancouver games? Let it rip, Solari!

this aint really my forum. but biden seemed ok. he seemed genuine. his wife seems REALLY nice. i’m sure he detests obama too – who has not said squat about the fine American showing. I dont like biden’s idiotic politics but he seems like a nice guy. he was, ya know, normal. unlike obama who is a total aberration of Nature.

Janelle says:

Amazing. The President didn’t even congratulate our American athletes? There snow took on special meaning and new opportunities were successful. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Nation, and in one very large Igloo indeed, snow is the demon and a real downer! Go figure…

I think it’s a pretty good bet Biden has an Obama voodoo doll by his bed full of pins. Unfortunately he has it not because Obama is an acolyte of Satan. He has it because Obama is a Negro. But he has it. That’s good enough for me.
