Republican Response – The Black Sphere
I’ve already stated that the Republican response to Obama’s State of the Union speech, though adequate, lacked passion. The immediate feedback from Republicans to my comment was “It was better than Jingals’ response!” Big deal.
After the State of the Union speech, Obama finally reaches out to Republicans. It only took a year! And now based on this video, Republicans are getting all wee weed up. Well not me!
It’s not kumbaya all over again—as if it ever was—and I won’t allow the Republican to revert to being the playground sissies.
Obama called this meeting not to get inputs from the Republicans, but to ACT like he is getting inputs from the Republicans. Recall his smug reminder to Republicans, “I won!”
Obama is taking a page from The Art of War and is attempting to dismiss his loss, and use his opponents win against them. The “never let them see you sweat” approach.
If Obama really wanted this meeting to occur for the right reasons, he would have done it within his first week of his presidency, not a year! The Great Uniter essentially told Republicans to go stick their thumbs up their butts, while he legislated left of Trotsky!
Thankfully the grassroots stepped in to protect the Republicans or Republicans would have rolled over like trained seals. Our job apparently is not finished.
Obama cares about two things: (1) His hide and (2) the destruction of America as we have all known it.
The subtlety of the video is that Republicans are acting as if this was some magical meeting with the messiah. I know they appear tough in the video, however don’t believe the hype. Most of these guys are career politicians, and easily beguiled. Like the majority of politicians, they are hedging their bets…just in case Obama regains his popularity. Watch it again, and note the wishy-washy language.
Most have forgotten Scott Brown and are already preparing to “reach across the aisle,” and it’s not to choke a Regressive? Well I say, you take the Limbaugh approach, and make sure his policies don’t work. Because any slight revival is good for Obama, not America. Improvement would only further Obama’s Communist agenda.
Obama just got his boney ass kicked in MA, and by a freaking nude model, and Republicans are ready to spoon with these Regressive Democrat traitors. Republicans are dusting off the same old tired ineffective tactics that have been tried over and over, all to impress an America who is sick of Obama and his band of thieves, and the lack of true differences between the Parties.
What better time than now for Republicans to say, “See, I told you Democrats are this frickin’ crazy!”
America is also tired of professional bureaucrats who have been in government way too long, and who believe the people’s seats are their seats!
Due to Republican failings, God had to end Kennedy’s reign over MA, and the grassroots had to smoke Dodd. For other Liberals too stupid to smell the grass clippings, know this…the new Conservative America ain’t Astroturf!
I believe most Americans are like me, that is, tired of backing a group of losers. Losers negotiate, winners gloat! Winners talk in 3rd-person, like boxers who have just kicked the crap out of the loser, long since dispatched to his dressing room or better yet…the hospital. No paparazzi for the loser, unless he dies!
Meanwhile the loser’s girlfriend stands ringside ready to boink, guess who…the winner!
The Republicans should not consider compromise with Obama for anything. You don’t win in a Liberal enclave like MA and negotiate from a position of compromise. Republicans should deal with Obama like political heavyweight champions, showcasing their new championship belt that has at its center Obama’s well-kicked balls.
One speech does not a successful administration make. Obama still has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. All Obama needs is a little push…into the grave!
America has rejected Obama’s policies, and resoundingly so. The policies that need to come forward now should be Republican…period!
Obama would love to co-sponsor some token legislation with built-in scapegoats! He would be happy to take credit for the good, or in the event of failure feed America a few evil Republicans…the other white meat!
Republicans need to recall what Obama said during the election. Then they need to look at his actions. Because Obama words are as empty as a Liberal’s skull!
It’s time for Obama to have a humbling. It’s long overdue. And it’s time for the world to witness the exceptionalism of America again.
Finally, it’s time for Republicans shift tactics; engage in the fight that the grassroots have waged over the past year. In case Republicans aren’t aware…we’re WINNING!
That’s my rant!

Kevin: Keep holding class! You (and Glenn Beck) are doing the best thing possible for this country! (Until you and Glenn Beck starting holding class, I really didn’t understand what progressivism was all about). Simply put, Progressives want what Marxists want, without the “revolution” (i.e. they are content to institute their will in increments in an evolutionary way). “It’s all for the children and/or the public-good!” (so it really IS a “Bolshevik,” plan–just without the revolution!)
Thomas Sowell called Obama, “Woodrow Wilson re-incarnate!”
Even Wikipedia explains progressivism and what Woodrow Wilson did & attempted to do to this nation…. The Sheeple should skip WWF RAW for one night and Go read it!
Thanks Kevin, you ROCK!!

The only good thing I’ve seen or heard of in the last 15 months in regard to politics has been Glen Beck,Oreilly,Hannity, and Cavoto. Then this month on Glen Beck I see Kevin Jackson and I,am floored.Talk about courage in saying what needs to be said.Knowing all the flack that Mr. Cosby took for saying the same things about racist liberals and Kevin still jumps into the frying pan with the heat on high. The races that disagree with Kevin’s view either are unarmed or just don’t want the truth to come out because the liberals will have to deal with correcting the problem of the free ride they institude (especially in the 60,s) which would cost them votes among the races of color and control over them.Keep slugging away Kevin.

Obama actually used the term “Bolshevik” in his meeting with the GOP to describe the scare tactics that have been used against him. The most ludicrous word he used however, was “centrist” in describing Obamacare. He also showed his usual chutzpah by suggesting the Republicans have painted themselves in a corner by criticising him, making compromise tough for them. Kevin, I’m in total agreement that the GOP better not compromise lest they run afoul of their grassroots. Some of these RNO’s need to be sent packing or at least sweat come primary time.

Kevin another well said rant. Thoroughly agree. Saw clips of the Obama get together and those few minutes turned my stomach. That guy exudes arrogance like no tomorrow!!!
Wish the republicans would stop ranting about their children and grandchildren as it relates to taxation. Don’t know about you but I’m more concerned about my taxes this year and the next few years and not 20 – 30 years from now!!

Amen to that Rant Kevin. Hey I recently read where one of the Dumbocrats said they will never compromise their position because they hold them on Principals. ( they would not know a principal if is stood 15 foot tall and bit them in the arse that are just marxixt thugs).
However when a Republican stands firm it is not principal but obstruction unless they compromise. What BS. You are right we need to bring in term limits for these clowns and locking the fools up in stocks on the mall so the people can really le t them know what they think of them.
ANother interesting observation from Ireland. We have a parlimentary system and no party has a full majority and that means getting smaller parties to make up a coalition. What happens is the smaller parties compromise their positions to gain power. They are the ones who always take the wrath of the electorate as the larger parties blame them for when things go bad with their policies. The Republicans should take note. That is the beauty of the party system you only take blame if you are complicit in the plans and the republicans should note this.
If they worry about being labeled obstructionist have their own ideas in a contract proposal form that they can give and should be getting out when this is brought up not just saying that thay have one. I know they do but they need to be clear with them. I know the lame street media will not get them out, but they have outlets to do this and need to be proactive getting message out. Then you will guarantee a wipe out this Nov.
We have that problem here in Ireland that the Gov is facing a melt down as well but the opposition parties have no clear plan to resolve the issues themselves so while the Gov. will fall and the main party in coalition will face a meltdown the smaller party ( the Greens) will be wiped out. That will be a great thing anyway as they area hypocritical idiots and watching them get and arse whupping is like the master caard commercial priceless!
However in teh US we cannot afford this to happen even if it would mean getting rid of some dead wood RINO’s.
My observations f rom the Emerald Island. Looking forward to being in teh USA this summer and getting to see you. Hey here is an Idea I offered te people and the Republicans should use. They should all be given iPods with there contract to listen too with music from Twisted Sister’s Were not going to take it played over and over. When they get this they can then listen to Tom Petty’s Wont back down played until they get it. Then play any of Lynyrd Skynyrd and maybe they will grow a backbone.

As they always do, the Republican leadership falls for President BO’s ploy, believing that he honestly wants dialog with them. I guess it feeds their egos.
The president is what he is: an extreme leftist who will carry this nation toward Marxism at every level: health care; the Internet; college football; offshore drilling; clean nuclear plants…whatever the reference, President BO wants it all under the direction of and control of the federal government.
These guys either still don’t get it, or they are complicit. Either way, it is bad news for conservatism.
I watched their “dialog,” and I certainly didn’t get out of it what they seem to have.

Hey KJ,
Politics is war conducted by other means.
War is politics taken to the ultimate degree.
I am a proud member of the inept party, because there is no other competitve alternative. We need to learn to fight like the dems; no prisoners, no wars of attrition, and when given the opportunity, utilze our right to annihilation.
Your “rant” was right-on!

BHO is back on the campaign trail campaiging for his 4 trillion dollar budget that will generate a 1.56 trillion dollar deficit. In full numbers it looks like this….1,560,000,000,000. This deficit will become mostly short-term debt. Assuming it pays 5% interest that amounts to 78 billion dollars per annum…..78,000,000,000.
Really difficult to comprehend. He’s going to let the Bush tax cuts expire except for those relating to middle income under $250,000. But, he’ll let the capital gains tax and dividend tax expire Jan 1, 2011. He’ll be raising taxes on those earning $250,000 and more and a few other things.
For the most part his tax cuts are meaningless and useless…..but, I suppose that fits Obowma to a “T”….

I couldn’t agree more, Kevin!
I watched the entire meeting with the GOP…he hasn’t changed one iota. He talked down to them, accused them of being “obstructionists” (STICK WITH THAT PROGRAM, GOP! FOR GOD’S SAKE! Who advocates “working with” MARXISTS?? Not me.), and accused them of stoking fears/allegations that his was a “Bolshevik plan”….WELL, HELLO, QUAAAAACK!
The GOP should be Liberty’s natural ally. The fact that they are worried about 3rd party spoilers is because they have so many 3rd party “what are they’s?” in OUR OWN PARTY. There shouldn’t BE a Constitution Party, or a Libertarian Party…the fact that there are is because of the GOP off-roading to the Left. I’m a REPUBLICAN, DAMMIT! And I want MY PARTY back!
The American citiznery has spent much of their time and money (even at risk of bodily harm at the hands of SEIU thugs!, and legal action: “low level domestic terrorist” status by our own DHS!)…we need LEADERS who are FEARLESS WARRIORS, too!
CARPE DIEM, ELEPHANTS! (Hannibal elephants, not Ringling Bros elephants!)
