You are good at what you do, but often times it seems like you try hard to please certain group of people. More like you are out there to create a name for yourself. I applaud you for standing in what you believe in. By the way, how did it made you feel when you saw the guy with a sign at the 9/12 rally telling some one like your self belongs in the zoo? and not The White House. You keep talking about how some rich white folks helped you and your grand parents, but I bet you some people were working for free right next door to where you lived. I am having a hard time to understand what your position is about the past. If you are suggesting that we should forget the past and move on forward, ofcourse I mean black people and americans in general I am with you. If your intention is to rewrite history you need to do more explaining. I find your writings to be very provocative and very well articulated. You see Mr Jackson, the party that you love and I used to love and support has been hijacked by some fame seeking, money/rating driven people. Where are our principles?. How come you or others are not speaking against some of the ugly things that are being said around the country?. Like i said, I am trying to define you as some one who is out there seeking attention (write email to Fox to have me in their show) or a person whose ideals I should entertain. I am black and a conservative, but some how you find it surprising that there are other black conservatives? I can see you can be a good voice, but like I said …….

The more I watch the video the more embarassed I feel…..I guess they were laughing at you not with you. Why is it a big deal to say that you are a BLACK conservative? and not just say you are a conservative? Period. You like to inject the race issue in all your speechs and presentations and you don’t like when others are doing it. This is the most beautiful, gracious, and blessed country in the planet. But for you to ignore the fact that we have bigots in all members of society is wrong. We have black racists, as well as white rascits. And from both sides of the poltical spectrum. It is more related to being human and we see it everywhere. Then again, you need to get accepted right? You might have been raised by your grandparents with help of “some rich white people”, but they were brought here as slaves building this country. you can only say that you are a black conservative because …..what if somebody says that I am a white conservative? It wouldn’t make sense, wouldn’t? All I am saying is drop the race issue and be proud to be a conservative, I am.

@FIC – Haven’t you heard…Black is in! I don’t plan on dropping it, any more than you plan on dropping that you are a white conservative. Aren’t you? Are YOU being heard? Maybe that’s because…it’s not a BIG deal. When BLACK people are overwhelmingly DEMOCRAT, then finding BLACK CONSERVATIVES is a BIG DEAL. That’s like asking Coke not to say their drink is REFRESHING.
I left HINTS for you to UNDERSTAND the words that I am saying TO YOU. I appreciate your advice.
Signed, Kevin Jackson, BLACK CONSERVATIVE
P.S. I am speaking for your monkey-butt, so shut up and be happy, you closet liberal!

Mr Jackson, When you start recieving these hate emails, YOU HAVE ARRIVED. The Dems know nothing but hate. If they see you as a thread watch out.

Kevin, I mean Master
you truly need to run for office this next election. 95% of the African American vote went to Obama. I hate to bring race in to the picture, and if I offend anyone I am very sorry. I have watched many of your videos; I especially like the “Kevin Jackson Schools A Liberal Youth.” Keep up the great work, and you will DEFINITELY have my vote if you run for office.

Jonathan you bring up a point that I have been struggling with….do conservatives need to have a black (I know Kevin has gracefully bowed out, but maybe even a Michael Steele) just so that blacks can actually vote their principles and not feel pulled to vote for race alone? But then will many blacks be screaming Uncle Tom? Sadly, with a huge percentage of blacks voting for Obama they just perpetuated the sterotype that all blacks think alike and I know that’s not true!

Kevin,
Good stuff. I have felt for a long time that the labels African American etc. only keep us focused on supposed differences. If we start with our differences we will never get to our common ground in this country which is American. If we must have the labels then is ought to be American African etc. so we can see that we start with common ground, from that table as we eat together we can appreciate any differences rather than separated by them.
Thanks for speaking out and having the independent American spirit seeking justice for all.
PS the multimedia page has a typo. The Recently Videos header I think is meant to be Recent Videos. The less ammunition the better – you don’t want to be Dan Quayled.
