//  Thank God for No ObamaCare

Posted on Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 by Kevin Jackson

Apparently the very real threat of death from the Left is not newsworthy. I’m not talking about the death threats by unions to Governor Walker, who is battling to save Wisconsin from financial ruin.  Nor am I talking about the numerous death threats that Governor Christie gets from the union thugs in NJ, as he battles for education reform.

Nope.  The threat of death of which I write today is the threat of ObamaCare. Because the much ballyhooed ObamaCare is the death from which a young baby boy in Canada is fleeing.

As this article explains,

Joseph Maraachli, the baby boy denied life-extending surgery by a Canadian hospital, has arrived in the US on his way to the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  Father Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life traveled to Ontario to accompany the baby and his father, Moe Maraachli, on a specially equipped air ambulance paid for by the pro-life organization. “If there is a chance this boy can live, we have to explore every option,” Pavone said in a statement issued by Priests for Life.

This was after the parents of Baby Joseph had fought to keep him on life support, or CanadaCare would have killed him long before. So would ObamaCare.

Despite ObamaCare being embroiled in battle in multiple states and having been declared unconstitutional, don’t expect the Obama administration from continuing their march towards health care insanity. That won’t happen, because there is too much money in it. Not to mention they have another agenda.

Strategies are still underway to allow for more abortions, partial birth or otherwise, and the only thing at question in the minds of the Left is when they can get the majority of Americans to accept their definition of “useful life.”

Obama cabinet is chalked full of people who believe that America needs to regulate the number of people we can support. Ironically, the Obama administration needs many non-producers...

Buy_now
to help them enact an agenda to get rid of non-producers. That is how Liberalism works.

As Fox News reported back in 2009,

President Obama’s “science czar,” John Holdren, once floated the idea of forced abortions, “compulsory sterilization,” and the creation of a “Planetary Regime” that would oversee human population levels and control all natural resources as a means of protecting the planet.”

Holdren says, “To provide a high quality of life for all, there must be fewer people.”

Would it surprise you to learn that Holdren wants the government to oversee population control to lower birth rates, by forcing single women to abort their babies or put them up for adoption; implanting sterilizing capsules in people when they reach puberty; and spiking water reserves and staple foods with a chemical that would make people sterile?

But what if the baby is born, like Baby Joseph?  Under ObamaCare, baby Joseph would have been left to die on a gurney, because “Why should they [his family] be burdened with a baby?”

Obama has a degree from Harvard, and Holdren has degrees from MIT, Stanford, and Harvard so who can debate them on such issues of who deserves to live and die?

The sad part about ObamaCare is that it’s not even an original idea, as the situation in Canada showcases. Obama has no originality.

One thing is for sure is Leftist policies are the same, regardless of which country they originate. And they are all an attempt to play God. Whether it’s controlling marshlands, river systems, or urban population centers, you can always depend on Liberal bureaucrats to believe that they can do a better job than God.

There may be no better example than the case of Baby Joseph, who was rescued by a Catholic priest, brought to the world’s best health care system, in order to allow God to reveal His loving grace. Baby Joseph’s rescue is also a great example of just how ungodly ObamaCare is.

That’s my rant!

Wow! Your comments are right on the mark. As a nurse myself, I have not been able to see the benefits that Obamacare are supposed to bring us all and therefore cannot bring myself to support it. I think the government-sponsored medical programs need changes to decrease waste, that's for sure. There is also a need to reform the existing laws that make it so easy to sue for malpractice. Without some type of reform, physicians and healthcare institutions have to do everything to avoid being sued, and that allows waste to continue, that's my opinion.

This is a very familiar tactic used by conservatives. They often take one negative situation and use it to demonize an entire industry/group/system or whatever it is they disagree with. I may be able to do this if I really tried.__A lady fell on the floor of a hospital emergency room. Several members of the hospital staff passed by her as she laid there and died in what Kevin calls "world’s best health care system".__What about someone with scissors left in them after surgery or someone having the wrong leg amputated …. All occurred in "world’s best health care system".__Ohhh, as far the government ""rationing healthcare". It happens thousands of times a day in the "world’s best health care system" Only it is not the government rationing, it is the insurance companies. They do not say rationing, they say the procedure is unnesassary or experimental. If it has not happen to you, it has happened to someone you know.

Any thinking person understand that this argument is not about saving the healthcare system, it's about sinking President Obama. Since the beginning of the healthcare debate republicans were out saying if they could stop his healthcare reform, they could bring him down. They loss and is still holding out hope. We can appeal it – We can defund it. One question for all conservative/republicans who look like Kevin. How does it feel to know that your party never has and never will choose a president or presidential candidate that looks like you. Hell, they are not even recognizing Hermon Cain as a candidate. I heard on FOX News several times that no republican has officially entered the primary process. I had to go back and check, Yep Hermon Cain declared long ago.

What a ridiculous load of horse manure…..I know Canadians and the misinformation that gets spewed by you right-wing fanatics about their healthcare system is absurd. We need health care reform—it needs to include cost savings thru preventative care, tort reform and a whole host of other ideas…but the just say no repubs can't get the heads out of their bought and paid for rearends long enough to do anything except divide our country and reach out for more handouts from the insurance lobby.

Kevin, kudos to you!! Excellent article—I thoroughly enjoyed it and will pass it on.
BTW, did you notice that the moonbats are out? You must have hit a nerve!! Keep
up the good work. It’s an uphill fight, but we’re going to win in the end.

Obama is sinking quite nicely without anyone's help.

Any party that would choose a candidate based on the candidate's looks deserves exactly what they [the party] get.

How's that hope and change thing working out for you?

I'm glad most of the people in the country disagrees that the president is sinking (based on polls). But no one can convince you because Rush said so.

Any party who has never and will never choose a candidate because they looks a certain way is dispicable. Unless you beleive there are no people of color or any women who is qualified to be president.

My portfolio has nearly doubled since President Obama came into office. Hope and change is working for me. But I'm sure Rush has you convenced that your life is over, you have loss all of your freedoms, and the government is coming to take your guns and kids.

Downsouth, It appears that you are misinformed. Doctors decide if they will do surgery or not. The insurance have no representation in the Operating Room. I will grant that the insurance company may not pay but never decide what services will be given or not. I personally have performed multiple surgeries on people without insurance. You know who pays? Responsible people with insurance, but don't worry that will all change soon enough when Chairman Mao Obama bankrupts all the insurance companies and we get a single pay system.

Thanks Frogmorten, you have made my point better than I did. I'm glad you agree with me and Chairman Mao Obama. Do you think that's why the healthcare bill say that everyone must buy insurance, to cut down on the number of people the "responsible people with insurance" have to pay for? I'm glad you brought your experience and common sense forward. Now you have to start working on your conservative friends.

If you want to see the definition of "reach out for more handouts", just look at any gathering of Democrats. Look at how all those babies in Wisconsin abandoned their jobs for a couple weeks and wouldn't leave the governor alone so he could – horror of horrors – balance the state budget. Not to mention the Democrat lawmakers who fled the state and wouldn't vote because they weren't getting their way. Sure, the healthcare system needs some fixing, but why would you trust someone who tripled the deficit in his first year in office to do it? All he wants to do is make the government bigger, and you're letting him do it because you think there's something in it for you.

OK. Let's start with you and your family!

So, you're focused on Rush when there's at least 9% unemployment in the country? Good for your portfolio, but look at what's going on around you. There are many Americans that would disagree with you. Your comment makes me sad.

Eric says:

I'd suggest you head up to the border hospitals and find out how many Canadians come for surgeries and procedures they can get quicker here instead of attacking "right wing fanatics."

By the way, the repubs have offered ideas, you decide to close your ears to them and use the bought and paid for excuse or the party of no so you won't have to debate or compromise.

Another great rant Kevin, obamacare is NOT what this country needs as we can see by how many people come from other countries to get treated here. What we need to do is make it so that the medical system is NOT abused like it has been in the past. I do not have insurance and we have made payment arrangements for the medical we get. It can be done. Keep up the great work Kevin.

AND, none of those union teachers talked about the Dept. of Educ study from the WH that stated over 50% of 14-yr olds in Wicsconsin cannot read! Why aren't the parents in Wisconsin up in arms about that! I'm in TX and I was incensed about that fact… unions have outlived their usefulness, IMO. All job retention should be merit based… not cronyism, not favoritism, not collective bargainin, but based upon merit! What a novel idea!

Eric, what makes me sad is so many people who's ideas are based on what someone tell them. I don't care who iit is. The reason I used Rush is because Linky Drake used Rush's words. And obviously you are convenced that President Obama caused the country's economic problems. If he were able to turn the down hill spiral we were in, in two years, I would have thought he was GOD. The unemployment rate went as high as 10% by the end of the "Great" Ronald Reagan's second year and it did not start to turn around until the middle of his third year. Unemployment has already started to turn around under President Obama, going down the last two months. I know you have not heard that, but sadly its true.
