The government shutdown is a FARCE! Big deal that 800,000 non-essentials (government workers) were furloughed. The have now been awarded paid vacations!
The House has voted to provide BACK PAY for these people. Even when government shuts down, the taxpayer gets screwed. When your company lays you off in the private sector, you don’t get back pay. You take your lumps, learn to cut back…you deal with adversity.
Government employees know that it’s just a matter of time before they get their money, so they catch up on their reading, take vacations, and just wait the American taxpayer out…with the help of a criminal Congress.
Nothing is happening in Washington DC, except scheming on how to get more from the private sector, under the guise that they are working for us. They are not working for us, they are WORKING US!
Government has now become US versus THEM. Politicians prove yet again that there are two Americas: the haves and those who steal from the haves.
