Wasn’t ObamaCare supposed to cover 31 million?

If you believe ObamaCare miraculously hit 7 million, then I have a half black man with no Negro dialect I’d like to sell you. ObamaCare was supposed to cover 31 million, not 7 million.

Like unemployment figures and about every other figure on which the government reports, the ObamaCare numbers are as believable as a Liberal’s dating profile.

I could reference studies or reinforce points that ObamaCare has become little more than a “sales pitch” to the American people who don’t want or need yet another layer of government bureaucracy. One only need look at the actual performance of ObamaCare on all levels, from the website to actual enrollment to see that ObamaCare is a disaster of gargantuan proportions, and the program is just getting started.

It’s one thing to say that ObamaCare is working out the kinks, but that’s like trying to “find the good points” of a serial killer.

“Well, at least he didn’t kill those close to him.”

The real issue that has been lost for ObamaCare is one of the other promises Obama made about the Hurricane Katrina of healthcare: ObamaCare was to cover 31 million people, not seven. The deadline has been REACHED, and we are talking about 7 million. As the Mafia boss says when he doesn’t get as much money as expected: “That’s a little light.”

Here is one reference to the numbers from an article at the Washington Post:

The Affordable Care Act, the most sweeping health care program created in a half century, is expected to extend coverage to 25 million Americans over the next decade, according to the most recent government estimates. But that will still leave a projected 31 million people without insurance by 2023. Those left out include undocumented workers and poor people living in the 21 states, such as Virginia, that have so far declined to expand Medicaid under the statute, commonly called Obamacare.

Forget that ObamaCare has disrupted insurance for millions, for which the proud parents of ObamaCare planned, repeat planned to get switched. ObamaCare DEPENDED on millions losing their existing insurance, then signing up for ObamaCare.

Even with that boost, the insurance plan that was supposed to cover the 31 million who had no insurance has hit its DEADLINE, and we are only up to 7 fictitious million, rumor being that less than 1 million have paid.

ObamaCare Math Recap:

  • Before ObamaCare: 308 million Americans with 31 million uninsured
  • After ObamaCare: 308 million Americans with 33 million uninsured

I repeat, and everybody say after me: ObamaCare was supposed to cover 31 million, NOT seven.

Start discussing what ObamaCare was supposed to do, and not the moving target of what ObamaCare supposedly is accomplishing.

The government is going to lie about ObamaCare numbers from now until we dump this dung of a program. Let’s FORCE them to show us the REAL numbers and stop the nonsense. When the public sees the checkbook on ObamaCare, they will see it for what it is; another government Ponzi scheme.
