Watch any of the shows about what our young military men and women face today, and you will feel nothing but respect. We call our WWII veterans, “The Greatest Generation,” and rightfully so. However the military men and women of today are amazing as well.
George Bush honored these young men and women, and no matter what you think of Bush’s policies, his love of the military and America are unquestioned:
I watched a show recently about a young Staff Sergeant whose platoon came under attack after a suicide bomber had detonated a bomb. So if it wasn’t bad enough that they were wounded in the first blast, they then found themselves in a firefight.
