Chelsea Clinton doesn’t care about money!

“I tried to care about money; I just can’t.” So says the Hillbilly princess whose parents paid $3 million for her wedding.

For the record, the elitist definition of “dead broke” is when your daughter has to settle for a wedding that would pay off 30 families’ mortgages, and college tuition for dozens of students.

Clinton’s wedding cost more than the average person would earn in TWO lifetimes. That, my friends is DEAD BROKE.

Which is why Chelsea Clinton wants us to understand that money is NOT important to her. She could easily do without money, though she doesn’t.

But there is a good reason Chelsea just keeps on having money: she is a philanthropist at heart.

Philanthropy is why Chelsea needs to keep her money. As the Daily Mail reported:

Philanthropy is her true passion, Clinton said, and that’s why she permanently left Wall Street to join the Clinton Foundation, which she runs with her parents, former first couple Bill and Hillary Clinton.

‘I was curious if I could care about [money] on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,’ Clinton told The Telegraph. ‘That wasn’t the metric of success I wanted in my life.’

Despite Chelsea’s self-proclaimed disinterest in money-making, a report last week surfaced that she was paid $600,000 by NBC last year to do a smattering of reporting

It is not uncommon for well-known anchors to earn multiple millions per year, but Clinton’s reported annual salary is high for the frequency of her segments.

The paycheck from her NBC contract has helped Chelsea and her husband Marc Mezvinsky buy a $10.5 million apartment next to New York’s Madison Square Park last spring.

Chelsea just can’t run the risk of being DEAD BROKE, because as her mother said, “[…] we had mortgages!”
