I love when people buck what is known as “political correctness,” which is a euphemism for destroying individualism.
It’s nice to give the curtailing of one’s God-given rights a cutesy name like “political correctness,” but all PC does is strip man of his humanity. Well Brooks Hamby would have none of that.
He is his high school’s salutatorian, and he was giving his speech that he says was rejected three times, because he wanted to speak openly about his faith. This video shows how he handled it:
“In coming before you today, I presented three drafts of my speech, all of them denied on account of my desire to share with you my personal thoughts and inspiration to you: my Christian faith…In life, you will be told, ‘No.’ In life you will be told to do things that you have no desire to do. In life, you will be asked to do things that violate your conscience and desire to do what is right.”
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
I salute this young man for saying what he WANTED to say, and not succumbing to political correctness!
