BLACK CONSERVATIVE TALK RADIO HOST ADDED TO BLACK RADIO STATION WBOK 1230 AM IN NEW ORLEANS

ST. LOUIS, MO Jun 26 – Kevin Jackson’s Conservative talk radio show has replaced former CNN correspondent Roland Martin at WBOK 1230 AM in New Orleans, as Martin’s program will move to a later time slot. Jackson’s “The Black Sphere radio show” will follow Al Sharpton’s radio program.

According to Melissa La Boy, COO of The Black Sphere, LLC:

“We were pleasantly surprised that a black urban radio station requested Kevin’s show. It speaks to Kevin’s ability to appeal outside the echo chamber of Conservative talk radio.”

WBOK 1230 AM will air Kevin Jackson’s show after Al Sharpton’s syndicated program, to which Jackson commented,

“I’m happy to follow Al Sharpton, because there couldn’t be a bigger difference in thought. I believe black stations need to allow their listeners varying points of view, and I’m excited about the opportunity to have a predominantly black audience compare my viewpoint to Sharpton and Martin.”
