Al Sharpton starting to resonate in the black entertainment community, but not like you might think. And though Ferguson may be waning, the bigger message cannot be driven home enough. And that is, “It’s time we put the race-baiters out of business!”
Pro baller, Gilber Arenas went off on Sharpton the other day, as Sharpton feathered his nest in Ferguson. I quipped that every time Sharpton shows up at a spectacle like Ferguson, he raises his appearance fees. Arenas knows what’s up as well.
Arenas posted a rant on Instagram that’s since been deleted. However UPROXX captured it before it was retracted. The most striking part of the rant is Arenas called Sharpton a “coon.”
That name (among others) is usually reserved for black Conservatives. Is the worm turning in America?
I’m not sure, but just the fact that CNN had me on their programs, and people who watch them were sending me messages of THANKS for being a voice of reason means things may be working.
Arenas sent his best wishes to Brown’s family, but then he put “protesting” black folks on blast for rioting and looting.
“[The] only reason they issue riot police isssss just in case you actually got smart enough to walk 6 blocks ,YALL ain’t f-cking up white rich sh-t smdh.”
