My ex-father-in-law was an illegal from Mexico who got his citizenship by joining the military and fighting in WWII.
He adored America, and was happy to represent the country to get citizenship. He became a restaurateur, and productive member of society. But he joined the old military, and not this ever morphing version that will doom America’s future.
The military is not the conservative enclave it once was, and that is why Obama’s Department of Defense changed its policy; a policy that opens a path to a military career for illegal aliens who came to the U.S. with their parents before the potential recruits reached 16 years of age.
Guess who will now beat a path to America with parents in tow?
Military Times reported Thursday that the DoD’s Military Accessions Vital to National Interest (MAVNI) policy will “be open to immigrants without a proper visa if they came to the U.S. with their parents before age 16. More specifically, they must be approved under a 2012 Obama administration policy known as Deferred Action for Child Arrivals, or DACA.”
Obama is relentless in his ideological pursuits, and he knows that Conservatives will vacillate a bit on this one. And its a nice more than bite-size chunk.
According to the report, somewhere between 1.2 million to 2.1 million children under 16 living illegally in the U.S. may, in theory, be eligible for enlistment under MAVNI guidelines.
So here is my question: “Are the Democrats kicking out higher ranks, so they can give Mexicans the jobs Americans don’t want?”
There is one good thing if you don’t like this proposal. The military is only looking for people who speak good English. But the bad news is the military will likely decide to make Spanish its official language shortly thereafter.
