Obama’s double standard on women

While Obama and other Liberals claim there is a war on women by Republicans, and they are doing all they can to discuss spousal abuse and rape on college campuses.

Equal pay, free contraception, pretty much whatever women want. The Left wants woment o know that they are doing all they can to protect them.

American women can feel safe; but Iranian woman, Reyhaneh Jabbari isn’t quite as lucky, as this State Department report showcases:

“We are deeply troubled by reports that Iranian authorities are finalizing plans to execute Reyhaneh Jabbari, an Iranian woman convicted of killing a man she said she stabbed in self-defense during a sexual assault. Such an execution would mark a severe violation of the fair trial guarantees afforded to Ms. Jabbari under Iranian law and Iran’s international obligations. While we note reports that the execution may have been postponed, serious concerns remain about the integrity of the legal case against Ms. Jabbari, including reports of confessions made under severe duress. We call for the relevant authorities to reexamine the evidence in this case with utmost transparency.”

Adding insult to penalty of death, the State Department has refused to condemn Iran over this action.

Hard to imagine how Obama negotiates nuclear non-proliferation with them, when he appears to be a eunuch in solving relatively simple human rights issues.
