Gun-control nuts hate these stories

“If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun.”

That’s a quote from America’s first black vice-president, and not necessarily bad advice.

In fact, an 11-year old girl may be alive today because of it.

Seeing a strange car pull into her driveway and the occupants approach her house and quickly break in, this savvy eleven year old girl hid in a closet with a trusted friend; a shotgun.

When the intruder opened that particular door, he was staring down the barrel of a shotgun, and a brave little girl at the other end. She was very unafraid to pull the trigger if necessary.

Two suspects, James Wasson and Rhonda Steward are both in custody charged with first-degree home invasion, second-degree home invasion, and burglary tool possession.

Anybody want to guess the outcome had the family not owned a firearm, and the child not known what to do?
