Office security is getting pretty high-tech; eerily high-tech
How would you feel about having a microchip implanted in your hand for office access.
At least you won’t have to keep up with that pesky key card.
You’d have to wonder what happens if you quit or are fired? Do they lop off a body part to get their implant back? Regardless of the method of retrieval, the bigger question might be, “Who pays for it?”
What if a criminal wants access to your building…by any means necessary? Would he (or she…for the feminists) be willing to cut out your implant?
Further who knows what information the company might implant in that implant.
I’ll stick with a card key.
