Like most service dogs, Garrett Loughran’s dog Hershey goes wherever Garrett goes.
San Francisco Globe reports:
After serving four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Garrett relies on Hershey to help calm him down in crowds. Hershey also helps to ease Loughran’s Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The result was that the manager who denied Garrett lost her job, and Houlihan’s issued a formal apology. Besides that, they also made a donation of $2,000 to Pets for Vets. An organization that provides service dogs for veterans in need, Pets for Vets was thrilled to accept the generous gift.
