I was talking to the guy who runs the LGBT organization in Missouri recently, and he admitted that Trangenders get the most grief in the LGBT movement.
In fact, the LGB really don’t like the Transgender, and in my opinion do the most damage to the cause of the T.
So when Bruce-turned-Caitlyn emerged, the discussion was off the LGB, and on to the T.
This group remains the most misunderstood, because there are so many “cans of worms” as it were. In the case of Caitlyn, the discussion got heated on Dr. Drew’s show, as reported in the Daily Caller:
Thursday’s broadcast of “Dr. Drew On Call” nearly devolved into physical violence when transgender reporter Zoey Tur threatened to send Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro “home in an ambulance” during a round-table discussion on Caitlyn Jenner.
The conversation reached a boiling point when Shapiro asked why Americans should be forced into a “mainstream delusion?”
SHAPIRO: Okay, forget about the disrespect, facts don’t care about your feelings. It, turns out that every chromosome, every cell in Caitlyn Jenner’s body, is male, with the exception of some of his sperm cells. … It turns out that he still has all of his male appendages. How he feels on the inside is irrelevant to the question of his biological self.
After allowing his guests to exchange a few more verbal barbs, host Dr. Drew Pinsky asked Tur a question on genetics, a question Shapiro interrupted with his own: “What are your genetics, sir?,” to which Tur replied by grabbing Shapiro and telling him to “cut that out now, or [he would] go home in an ambulance.”
