This Civil Rights Icon Should Die

The Voting Rights Act is a like pair of old shoes for the racist Democrats. They put them on, when it’s time to go shovel crap.

So the 50 year anniversary of the passage of the Voting Rights Act is the right time. Time to get the natives (black Democrats) restless.

The legislation was sponsored by a Republican, but that doesn’t matter, as the Left has established the new narrative. Further, despite the Democrats’ opposition to the legislation–22 percent opposed it, versus 17 percent of Republicans–Democrats remain in the minds of most people, the party of civil rights.

You’d never guess by this article that Democrats were the ones preventing blacks from voting:

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights celebrates with all Americans the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which prohibits racial discrimination in voting.  The law was signed by President Lyndon Johnson on August 6, 1965 and enforced the right to vote guaranteed by the 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution.  It newly enfranchised many minority citizens who despite the 14th and 15th Amendments had been denied access to the polls by state and local officials in certain states.

The 14th and 15th Amendments were both Republicans’ good works.

It’s long past time for America to drop the ruse that blacks are being oppressed in this country; oppressed by whites, that is. Blacks should realize the game, as white enablers profit from this nonsense, while blacks remain in their reconstituted, self-segregated plantations.

The coddling by white enablers weakens blacks beyond recognition. I remember the 1960’s black, because that’s my generation. We were PROUD, and ready to overcome. At that time, we deserved to fight the power, as the system had indeed conspired against us. Today, it’s just not true. The only thing standing in the way of black success is the black Liberal mindset.
