The definition of “anchor” is a device which keeps an object in place. It is also utilized to bring someone or something down, a perfect depiction of what the liberals desire to accomplish with America.
Anchor babies, as well as their illegal parents, will all be obligated to these liberal politicians, whose sole desire is to weaken America so as to depart from our “evil” capitalistic ways.
An illustration of how damaging illegal immigration is would be this: take an average American family with two children living paycheck to paycheck. Now let’s bestow upon them three more children, one with special needs, and no additional money to care for the extra “anchors”. You know the obvious outcome, and this is exactly what is happening to America.
Americans are told that “anchor babies” are U.S. citizens. The liars who advance this notion use the 14th Amendment as their reasoning. Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly commands equivocally “If you’re born here you’re an American. Period.” Ann Coulter enlightens us in regards to Mr. O’Reilly – “Good God, he’s stupid.”
To genuinely believe a pregnant woman may enter any country illegally, have her child in that country illegally, and this creates a legal citizen of that country is absurd to say the least. In 1866, Senator Jacob Howard clearly spelled out the intent of the 14th Amendment by stating:
“Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.”
This amendment applied to slaves, which by this time was 99.9 percent people of African heritage, as there were Democrats fighting against the idea that blacks, former slaves could dare be given citizenship.
The authors of our Constitution predicted Liberals would attempt to bastardize it for their own benefit, and manipulate the document.
Thomas Jefferson in a letter to William Johnson, June 12, 1823, declared:
“On every question of construction, let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed.”
A sunken ship, even with its anchor, is unable to rescue anyone. Anchor babies, as well as their parents and other illegal immigrants are an immense contributor to the sinking of America. If we desire to save anyone, we first must right our ship. We must lessen this burden bestowed upon America’s family by first understanding the genuine intent of the 14th Amendment.
