You can’t sell a Confederate flag on Craigslist, but you can advertise to kill cops.
And why not ask for specifics, like shooting them in the head and burning down police stations.
And that’s exactly what Marvin Gee, 44, from Kentucky did a month ago. Gee was charged with solicitation of murder of a police officer, a class B felony.
Maybe it’s a coincidence, but a few days later Memphis Policer Officer Sean Bolton was shot in the head and killed by a thug, who was previously arrested for armed robbery, while interrupting a drug transaction on a traffic stop. Further, this past week Louisiana Trooper Steven Vincent stopped to help a man whose truck was stranded in a ditch, and was shot in the head and killed by another thug with a sawed off shotgun.
The most recent story comes from Texas, where 47-year-old Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth was gunned down in an execution-style killing while gassing up his patrol vehicle.
Shannon J. Miles, 30, was charged Saturday in the shooting.
In this case, investigators say they need to determine Miles’ motive. Really? We know the motive. Miles and many others have been told that cops are fair game.
In a news conference announcing the arrest on Saturday, Sheriff Ron Hickman said the attack was “clearly unprovoked,” and that there is no evidence so far that Goforth knew Miles.
“Our assumption is that he was a target because he wore a uniform,” Hickman said.
There is a war on police in this country, aided and abetted by the Left. We have a president who blames the deaths of blacks by police officers on racist behavior, without even knowing the facts of the case. There is virtual silence from Obama when police officers are tragically killed in the line of duty. His statements and actions have emboldened and incited people to attack police, which brings me back to the Craigslist – posting Gee.
Whether or not this moron was inspired by the #blacklivesmatter movement is unknown. What is known is the movement has become singularly focused on the issue of incidents regarding deaths of blacks that involve the police. So the deaths of these police officers who are being stalked and executed are the fault of this movement.
