I have learned to appreciate the Left in how they set narratives and perpetrate lies on the American people.
They have taken their ability to do this to a science and they are doing it with Ahmed, the alarm clock building Muslim boy.
First things first: Ahmed didn’t build that clock. The lie being told is that some genius Muslim child built a clock that most America techies can build by the age of 8. The first part of this Leftist narrative is meant to showcase just how smart the Muslims are. If they’re so smart, why are their countries so backwards. Even in Dubai, they import talent from around the world, and most of it is NOT Muslims.
As for Ahmed’s “genius radio”, according to this engineer, Ahmen took some parts of an existing clock from 1970 and placed it in pencil case:
I found the highest resolution photograph of the clock I could. Instantly, I was disappointed. Somewhere in all of this – there has indeed been a hoax. Ahmed Mohamed didn’t invent his own alarm clock. He didn’t even build a clock. Now, before I go on and get accused of attacking a 14 year old kid who’s already been through enough, let me explain my purpose. I don’t want to just dissect the clock. I want to dissect our reaction as a society to the situation. Part of that is the knee-jerk responses we’re all so quick to make without facts. So, before you scroll down and leave me angry comments, please continue to the end (or not – prove my point, and miss the point, entirely!)
For starters, one glance at the printed circuit board in the photo, and I knew we were looking at mid-to-late 1970s vintage electronics. Surely you’ve seen a modern circuit board, with metallic traces leading all over to the various components like an electronic spider’s web. You’ll notice right away the highly accurate spacing, straightness of the lines, consistency of the patterns. That’s because we design things on computers nowadays, and computers assist in routing these lines. Take a look at the board in Ahmed’s clock. It almost looks hand-drawn, right? That’s because it probably was. Computer aided design was in its infancy in the 70s. This is how simple, low cost items (like an alarm clock) were designed. Today, even a budding beginner is going to get some computer aided assistance – in fact they’ll probably start there, learning by simulating designs before building them. You can even simulate or lay out a board with free apps on your phone or tablet. A modern hobbyist usually wouldn’t be bothered with the outdated design techniques. There’s also silk screening on the board. An “M” logo, “C-94” (probably, a part number – C might even stand for “clock”), and what looks like an American flag. More about that in a minute. Point for now being, a hobbyist wouldn’t silk screen logos and part numbers on their home made creation. It’s pretty safe to say already we’re looking at ’70s tech, mass produced in a factory.
Next point: why all the hoopla over Ahmed’s clock anyway? What should have been a nothing incident was intentionally blown to monumental proportions. Goal accomplished, and that was to make Muslims appear smart and harmless. And why not use a kid.
Ahmed is smart and built a harmless clock, that’s the narrative. Ahmed must be a genius to build a clock, and it was a harmless clock; and we over-reacted. Make our over-reaction so bad, that we dare not ACT when another clock is brought to school by a Muslim. I ask you now, “Did YOU over-react?” I certainly didn’t.
But for the lemmings, which is most of America, that guilt trip worked great. And it’s an excellent strategy for creating guilt.
Take a guy who doesn’t answer his cell phone for hours. When he returns home, his wife berates him, accusing him of everything, then he produces a wet or otherwise damaged, non-working phone. Then he proves he was at work for hours, as his boss calls to thank him for killing a Saturday on behalf of the company. Case closed. This guy is now free to move about the country. Next time, if he’s about to leave for hours to meet up with a call-girl, his wife will pack him lunch!
That’s what is happening with Ahmed. He is being used to desensitize us to the possibility of terrorist strikes in our schools. Because we all know that terrorists wouldn’t kill our little infidel children, right? And who are we to believe that Muslims might orchestrate a highly coordinated attack in hundreds of schools across America using “Ahmeds,” after testing the waters and getting us to lower our guard to these “clocks?”
Talk about your conspiratorial, anti-Muslim, xenophobic thinking, right?
America has to wake up, and be able to spot the signs. Instead of invoking that knee-jerk political correctness Liberals have indoctrinated into most Americans’ brains, invoke critical thinking. Look at the bigger picture of what’s happening.
When the bombs go off in America, it will be little “Ahmeds” exploding them. Just like they are doing all over the world.
