What a heartwarming story to come out of the tragedy in Paris.
A sad, scared little boy talked with his father about the attack on Paris. As the little boy shared his fears with his father, a French news station watched.
The little boy feared the bad guys who came and hurt people, the “mechants.” He thought the family would have to move.
His father explained that France was their home and that bad guys were everywhere. But the father had a soothing way with his little boy:
But they have guns, Papa.
They have guns, but we have flowers.
But flowers don’t do anything, Papa.
His father tells him then that flowers and the candles will protect them against guns, against the bad guys.
