It’s clear that university students have become babies. College used to be a right of passage into adulthood, when a child left the nest. Now however, college provides young adults the opportunities to revert to being children.
Yet again the University of Missouri is the hot spot of lunacy.
The school published an “inclusive terminology” guide for students to learn and use as part of efforts to make the school more “inclusive.” As The Daily Caller reported,
The guide explains that “sticks and stones are not the only things that may be hurtful,” before instructing students to learn “the most current terminology,” which includes “adultism,” “two spirit” and “cultural appropriation,” among others.
The guide is titled “The Language of Identity: Using inclusive terminology at Mizzou” and defines “adultism,” for example, as “prejudice and accompanying discrimination over young people.”
The guide also includes the term “minoritized,” which it defines as “when underrepresented groups are made to feel ‘less than.’” Neither “adultism” nor “minoritized” can be found in Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary.
Minoritized? I guess marginalized wasn’t good enough. I guess the 1% the Left complains about so often have been “minoritized.” Then supersize my minoritization, because I want that Romney money!
We keep wanting to defund ObamaCare, but I suggest we defund Wackademia. Without all our money, they might be forced to actually focus on the subjects that get people employed and productive. The type of activities, coming up with new idiotic terms is due to having too much time on their hands, and too much of our money.
Here’s a definition for those morons: childish. It means the same now as it did when Webster defined it.
