Finally, we have a college president in the United States who’s willing to stand up to the cry-bullies who are overrunning our higher education institutions!
Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Dr. Everett Piper did what many of us wished we were in a position to do: he took a narcissistic, self-absorbed student over his knee and delivered a spanking.
An OWU student’s allegedly claimed he felt “victimized” and “offended” by a university chapel service about love. OWU is a Christian university and Dr. Piper is not backing down to the pressure that has caused so many Liberal wackademics to cave to a generation of spoiled brats.
According to an article in Fox News, Dr. Piper wrote an open letter to students of OWU:
Piper said that his school believes “that the content of your character is more important than the color of your skin.”
“Oklahoma Wesleyan is not a ‘safe place,’ but rather, a place to learn: to learn that life isn’t about you, but about others; that the bad feeling you have while listening to a sermon is called guilt; that the way to address it is to repent of everything that’s wrong with you rather than blame others for everything that’s wrong with them. This is a place where you will quickly learn that you need to grow up!“
Dr. Piper told his students that OWU is not a day care. In his open letter, he writes:
“…if you want to be enabled rather than confronted, there are many universities across the land (in Missouri and elsewhere) that will give you exactly what you want, but Oklahoma Wesleyan isn’t one of them”
The mention of Missouri refers the students who forced out University of Missouri President Tim Wolfe for yet unsubstantiated claims of racism and the drawing of a swastika on a wall with feces. Liberal wackamedia ran for cover like cowards and succumbed to the whining of the cry-bullies.
Dr. Piper is a hero in my book. If this lunacy of political correctness is ever to stop, it will be due to the courage of university administrators who will stand up and prepare our kids for the real world. The “squeaky wheel gets the oil” mentality may work in dysfunctional homes and colleges, but it is not how the world works.
Left Wing anarchists may soon descend on OWU and target Dr. Piper. I suspect he will handle them in much the same way. He’s a great example of no allowing the inmates to run the asylums anymore.
